About: I have had dogs all of my life and love to spoil them! I have several dog beds and plenty of toys to play with. I allow dogs on my couch and beds. My home is air conditioned in the summer. I look forward to meeting you and your dog. I am home during the day; therefore, I have the ability to care for doggos and ensure they have plenty of playtime and potty breaks throughout the day. My house sits far back from the road and is almost completely wooded front and back. I have 1+ acres of land with a 400 sq ft fenced in play area they can access as they wish during the day. I can also take them out on a lead or leash. I spray my property for ticks every 3 months Mar-Nov.

About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. I previously had a cat-sitting business when I worked at The Cat Practice in New York City in the mid 1990s. Here in Maine, I have had occasional pet sitting jobs. “Natalie went out of her way to make Brutus feel at home. I was very impressed from the start, she talked with us and let our pup feel out the area while we confirmed specific details regarding Brutus which was such a comfort. He's a big cuddle bug and we gave her some of his favorite treats and she sent pictures of him enjoying them. When we picked up Brutus a couple days later he was exactly himself and did not have any decrease in appetite which we've experienced before. I will definitely be using Natalie as a pet sitter in the future, and cannot express how thankful I am for the care she provided.”
