From the moment we started taking to the meet and greet to leaving Remy with her for a few days was fantastic. Her communication was excellent and fast right from the beginning. We weren't gone long before she was already sending pictures which is something we said we would take any time.. throughout our few days away we received many updates and pictures and from the pictures we could see that Remy was very happy and being cared and loved just as we do. Robin's compassion to take care of and spend time with animals is very clear. Remy even seemed a little sad after we picked him up and brought him home like he missed her and her fun dog Stella. We can't recommend Robin enough and we will definitely be using again!”
“This was my first experience leaving our dog, Nova (border collie), with strangers overnight, but Natalie allowed us to visit with her twice at her home a few days before the booking, and that helped tremendously. I really appreciated that. Nova warmed to Natalie right away and I know this made Nova feel more secure when I dropped her off for the weekend. I certainly felt better about leaving her there because she didn't seem as anxious as she was the first time we visited. Also, Nova is the only animal in our household and she "rules the roost," so I was glad that she had other canine company. Natalie sent texts and photos to me while I was away and Nova looked alert, calm, and content. I really appreciated getting little messages about Nova and answering any questions Natalie may have had. While I did think about Nova a lot during the weekend (we've had her all her life and she's 9 now), I did not worry about her. I felt she was safe, looked after, and treated kindly. If I had to board her again close by, my first choice would be Natalie. Thank you so much, Natalie!”

About: Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a teen, my family rescued a young cat named Bella off the streets when she was about 6 months old and she became the absolute love of my life. Years later, my family welcomed two kittens into the home while Bella was already a senior cat, so I've experienced the full range, from raising playful kittens to caring gently for an older, more settled cat. That mix taught me how differently cats communicate depending on their age and personality, and how important it is to respect their boundaries rather than force interaction. I'm experienced with the litter box and maintenance, as well as following specific feeding schedules and special diets. About: I have worked many different animal specific jobs over the years. From pet stores, dog bathing, to overnight doggie daycares. There have always been animals around me at home, especially dogs! Now that my childhood dog (Brownie) is getting older, I’ve also gained more experience with senior canines too. I am currently unemployed, so I’ll have plenty of time to give attention to and care for your precious fur friend(s)! I am available for check-ins any day of the week after 11am. While I do not drive myself, my family is retired and able to help with transportation. Please discuss details with me ahead of time for availability if needed (at least a day in advance). My house has a spacious front and backyard, including an invisible fence that both of my dogs are trained with. There are plenty of dog beds, water bowls, and a big bucket of toys lying around inside the house. There is also multiple doggie doors leading from the garage and into the house (both have slide door blockers as well if you need my dogs locked inside). I have my own apartment above the top floor that is separate from the rest of the house. There is an entrance at the back of the building, along with a wooden staircase that leads to my deck and apartment door. If you are boarding, your pets will be staying up here with me for the night. I am located on a quiet dirt road and can offer dog walks to get extra energy out. A bathtub is also available in my apartment if you’d like to give your pooch a soothing spa day (includes brushing, shampoo & conditioner, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and nail grinding) I love taking photos/videos, don’t hesitate to ask!

About: Growing up, I always wanted to have a dog as a pet - I was gifted a stuffed animal dog at a few days old and was lovingly referred to as "Dog Dog". As I grew up, most animals were in reference to dogs, for example, when I saw dear in my backyard, regardless of how much my parents tried to reteach me, I called them "Dear Dogs". When I was 11, my family adopted a dog (FINALLY), as a young puppy, and between my mom and I primarily, we trained and raised him to be our own, fun loving, laidback, dream dog. Whether it be high school, college, or as an adult, I have always found myself being drawn to animal care as more of a passion than a job - it fills my cup and brings me a lot of joy. Pet care has been a large part of not only my nannying experience of 3 years and babysitting, but also a way to help me pay for graduate school. I do over-nights, longer term stays, walks, and anything in between. For the last 6 years, I have lived with roommates that have both dogs and cats, who I have treated and cared for like my own pet. Additionally, I have experience fostering dogs, pet sitting multiple animals at once, as well as have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and needs (medical pills, drops, chemo, and wide range of anxiety levels). Overall, I have taken care of a wide range of animals of all ages, from puppies who are young and rambunctious, to older dogs and cats that need special care and attention. The only reason I don't currently have a dog of my own is due to a busy work schedule myself (I am a college rowing coach in the area for a team of 55 student-athletes) and I don't feel it would be fair to have a pet I could not give all of myself to. So, I am drawn and dedicated to helping care for other's pets as a way to fill that part of my void and make extra income. As a collegiate rowing coach, my schedule ebbs and flows depending on the time of year or time of day, but my day typically starts at 6:30am, with some flexibility in the day (if it is planned out in advance) and more availability in the evenings for pet care during the week. On the weekends, when I am not traveling for competition, I am very available and flexible. Because of my own experience with having pets in my home, whether they are officially mine or not, I take the love and care it takes to make a pet the happiest it can be, very seriously. Due to the fact that I wish I could afford to have my own pet, every pet I take care of receives the same level of care I would provide as if it were my own. I would want the same id someone was caring for a pet of mine.

About: I've been a small animal veterinary technician for more than 10 years. My specialty is senior care, including managing cats or dogs with diabetes or kidney disease. I previously had a cat-sitting business when I worked at The Cat Practice in New York City in the mid 1990s. Here in Maine, I have had occasional pet sitting jobs. I am also an experienced horse owner. I am currently working part-time, and can easily fit in visits to your furry friends. I am based out of Gray and will travel within 30-45 minutes of my home. I can also provide over-night care as well. For home visits, I will spend at least 30 minutes with your pet at each visit, if not longer. During that time I will play with them, take them for walks (if canine), or sit quietly if a kitty or older canine prefers. I will feed, ensure they have fresh, clean water, and maintain litter boxes if feline.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid, people tend to come to me to watch theirs when out of town or busy I currently am in between jobs, so I will have plenty of time for these animals. I will be getting a job pretty soon though. I will fallow all instructions you may have. I also have 3 fur babies of my own, so if I were to bring them to my place they would have plenty of company.

About: I have one year of pet-sitting experience, mostly for family and friends, along with volunteer work at animal shelters. As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve always had dogs and cats, often multiple at a time. I’m working full-time, but I have free time to help you walk, feed, take care of your pet/pets. Early mornings and nightly visits are totally doable, depending on the day I currently am not able to have pets at my house. But I can assure that your pets will be taken care of with the tools and space provided and more. “This was my first experience leaving our dog, Nova (border collie), with strangers overnight, but Natalie allowed us to visit with her twice at her home a few days before the booking, and that helped tremendously. I really appreciated that. Nova warmed to Natalie right away and I know this made Nova feel more secure when I dropped her off for the weekend. I certainly felt better about leaving her there because she didn't seem as anxious as she was the first time we visited. Also, Nova is the only animal in our household and she "rules the roost," so I was glad that she had other canine company. Natalie sent texts and photos to me while I was away and Nova looked alert, calm, and content. I really appreciated getting little messages about Nova and answering any questions Natalie may have had. While I did think about Nova a lot during the weekend (we've had her all her life and she's 9 now), I did not worry about her. I felt she was safe, looked after, and treated kindly. About: I have worked many different animal specific jobs over the years. From pet stores, dog bathing, to overnight doggie daycares. There have always been animals around me at home, especially dogs! Now that my childhood dog (Brownie) is getting older, I’ve also gained more experience with senior canines too. I am currently unemployed, so I’ll have plenty of time to give attention to and care for your precious fur friend(s)! I am available for check-ins any day of the week after 11am. While I do not drive myself, my family is retired and able to help with transportation. Please discuss details with me ahead of time for availability if needed (at least a day in advance). My house has a spacious front and backyard, including an invisible fence that both of my dogs are trained with. There are plenty of dog beds, water bowls, and a big bucket of toys lying around inside the house. There is also multiple doggie doors leading from the garage and into the house (both have slide door blockers as well if you need my dogs locked inside). I have my own apartment above the top floor that is separate from the rest of the house. There is an entrance at the back of the building, along with a wooden staircase that leads to my deck and apartment door. If you are boarding, your pets will be staying up here with me for the night. I am located on a quiet dirt road and can offer dog walks to get extra energy out. A bathtub is also available in my apartment if you’d like to give your pooch a soothing spa day (includes brushing, shampoo & conditioner, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and nail grinding) I love taking photos/videos, don’t hesitate to ask!
