About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. Throughout her life I have trained her for obedience and herding, and have dealt with low confidence and reactivity with her daily. I am experienced with dogs who are shy and tend to be reactive. I am studying for a Food Science PhD at UW Madison, so I’m able to take whatever requests work outside of my classes! Most weekends are free, and I update my calendar regularly to reflect class and exam schedules. I have experience training dogs and love hanging out with any breed of dog. I believe dogs need both mental and physical stimulation in order to be fulfilled.
About: I am currently a full-time Team Coordinator that works remotely out of my home, or any place with wifi! Working remotely has provided me with a lot of spare time, not having to commute to and from work, so I am looking to fill some of that time caring for animals. I currently have two dogs and two cats at home. I have experience with all types of dogs including small dogs, like my dad's Peekapoo, and large dogs, like my brother's Great Dane. I've taken care of puppies as well as senior dogs with extra care needed included insulin injections and eye drops. I am available for entire weekends, individual weekend days, full weeks and individual week days. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) and please don't hesitate to ask me any questions! If weekdays are needed, I have the flexibility to work from your home which gives me the opportunity to be there all day long if needed. Only working from 7:30am to 4:00pm with no commute gives me plenty of extra hours for pet/house care. I will treat your pets and home with the utmost respect as if they were my own. I would ask for any special requirements that pertain to housesitting and pet sitting ahead of time so I can follow them when I am there. I always make sure to lock doors and stay vigilant, especially at other peoples’ homes. I can be available to you by phone any time of the day or night when I am watching your pet/house and am always willing to help out with anything that may come up!

About: I am an aspiring vet student who has 10 plus years of experience with cats and dogs both owning and sitting for. I have medical knowledge that other sitters may not have as I work at an ER for pets as a nurse! I am extremely flexible with my time and availability and will ensure that your pet gets the well-deserved love and care they need! As a bonus, I can offer nail trims, sanitary shaves, and ear cleanings during their stay if requested! I'm currently working part time night-shift, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets! I make my own schedule during the day, so I can easily work around your pet's needs. I have a dog and cat myself at my apartment that are well socialized to be around other dogs. I can accommodate up to two dogs in my apartment if needed and can also go to your home if preferred. For cats, I find it best to go to them. I do not have a yard, but my apartment complex is pet friendly with a play area and lots of walking trails nearby.
About: I have had dogs and cats while growing up and I currently work at a dog boarding facility where I work with dogs or cats with all different kinds of personalities and needs! “I don’t know how to adequately express how grateful we are that we hired Stella. If you want the short version without the saga: Stella is THEE best dog sitter EVER. I will hire her again and again!! Smudge loved her immediately at our meet and greet, and we felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. Then, just before our trip, Smudge had X-rays on his leg and became very sick afterward. We were worried sick. I had Stella come over a second time so I could walk her through the probiotics and instructions from our vet, hoping he would be back to himself in a few days. We had to leave the next day. What happened after we left was something none of us could have imagined, and I cannot imagine what we would have done if Stella hadn’t been the person caring for him. She tried everything to get Smudge to eat and kept us regularly updated on how he was doing. When she became concerned that he wasn’t improving, she proactively told us she thought he needed to go to the emergency vet. She packed his bed into her car so he’d be comfortable and took him. When the first treatment of fluids and anti-nausea medication didn’t work, she took him back to the ER, where he ultimately had to be hospitalized. Stella took a day off work to care for him. When Smudge came home, she dealt with vomit and accidents, did laundry, cleaned up after him and continued caring for him through all of it. She never once complained or made us feel like any of this was an inconvenience. And after Smudge finally started getting better, Stella herself got sick. She cared for our boy as though he were her own dog. She advocated for him when he needed more care, and I truly believe she saved his life. You would be crazy not to hire this amazing human to care for your pets. Stella is 100% part of our family now. If she ever needs anything from us, I hope she knows she can ask. We will never forget what she did for Smudge, and we will be forever grateful to her.”

About: We have been loving and caring for dogs for a long time. Big and small dogs; young and old. Our son and 7 year old dog are welcoming I am currently working from home and Bryan works part time. Our son is home schooled at this time, therefore, we have time and energy to help other dogs and other families We have a large yard in a quiet neighborhood; part of our yard is fenced and other part is open for additional exercise. We also walk our dog daily.

About: My pet-sitting experiences include looking after both cats and dogs day to day and for extended periods of time. When taking care of cats, I make sure they have clean water and food at all times; keep their environment clean; watch over them and see if they are healthy; and interact with them by playing with them on a daily basis. I treat every pet as if they were my own and doing everything I can to ensure their happiness. I am extremely flexible with regards to my schedule, and can be available for the most part of the day. I wake up early, so feeding and taking the animals for walk won't be a problem at all. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I value their safety, trust, and maintaining a calm and familiar environment for their pet. It is important for me to carefully follow all the instructions concerning their feeding schedule, treatment, taking medication, and other specific care. It goes without saying that I make sure that the pets receive proper meals and have clean water to drink. I also try to keep the house as clean as possible, including litter boxes for cats and any messes that may occur. I also observe the pets to ensure everything seems normal and they’re healthy. I believe that building trust with both pets and owners is essential, I’ll always provide them with updates and photographs about the current condition of the pets. My goal is to make sure their pet is cared for and mostly importantly happy.
