“Very caring and very professional. I knew when I met her that my dog was in good hands. He’s never been away overnight with someone else. He handled it well because it’s obvious she loves animals and knows how to take care of them. Highly recommend.”

“Jennifer is such a kind, responsible, and loving pet sitter! Our pup, Arlo, loved every second he spent with her and her wonderful dog, Myrtle. Jennifer was able to take Arlo on last minute request. She met him prior to his stay to ensure he would settle in comfortably. She shared daily photos and updates, for which we were so appreciative while away! Jennifer took Arlo in the car, on hikes, and treated him as her own. We could not have asked for better care.”

“Jack and Joanne are the best! Our Brittany Spaniel had the best time at their home while we were away, and we felt relaxed knowing he was in such good hands. It can be hard to trust others with your fur babies, but with Jack and Joanne, we knew he was being loved and taken care of just as if he was home. We can not recommend them enough!”

“Our dog Charlie had another great stay with Debbie! It is clear from the pictures and videos she sends that he is happy and well taken care of while we're away. We never need to worry about him when he stays with Debbie.”

About: Hi! I’m Allie, and I’d love to be your pet’s new favorite sitter! 🐾 I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so my goal is to make that experience as easy and stress-free as possible. I want you to be able to relax knowing they’re being well taken care of. Whether your pet needs a quick walk, a midday check-in, or someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’d be happy to help! I’m self-employed and work primarily from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to work my schedule around walks, potty breaks, feeding times, and playtime, rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. I love having animals around while I work, and I’m happy to provide the companionship and care they need throughout the day! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. About: Lifelong Dog and Cat person, have always had pets and always will. I love all animals. My dog Hank was diagnosed with Glaucoma right before his 6th birthday; it was an adjustment getting used to a new routine of 3 different types of Eye-drops, every 8 hours. My friends and colleagues had often commented, "You're really good with animals." the💡idea became a recurring suggestion that I would enjoy offering temporary care to other people's Pets, similarly to how I lovingly care for any of my own animals. Often get asked why/how my dog Hank is so well behaved, mellow, and such a good dog. Is it the training? "Sure," of course. But most of it is quite simple: Hank is rarely left alone. He goes everywhere with me. He hikes about 5 miles every day. He doesn't overeat, or sit-around. He's active, gets exercise, and is socialized often with other people and pets. So when he meets a new person, it's not a first, it's his daily routine. If your work/life balance has you leaving your pet alone most days? I can help change your dog's daily routine - so when you come home from work? Your dog has had a full day of activities they enjoy, and are happy to see you (with less pent up energy) Available 7 days a week to care for your dogs or cats. Have flexibility to be able to adjust to a variety of tasks. Let's chat about what you need. Whether I'm stopping-in quickly to fill the water & food bowl, administering some mid-day medication, taking your dog outside for a brief walk, or picking up your pet at your place & taking it to their favorite park or nature center; even having your pet for a play-date at my house with our huge fenced in Yard, or doing a doggy slumber party at your home. I'm ready to keep your pet entertained, well cared for, well fed, up to date on all medications, and very well-loved while they're in my care. Relax knowing, i've checked ✔️ off that box representing the responsibility of your dog or cat, while you're working or vacationing.
“Bryan is my favorite dog sitter for my dog, my dog usually gave me story (barking really loud) when I picked him up from kennel. I mean like solid 30 minutes ‘story’ to make me feel really bad leaving him in the kennel. But with Bryan, he bark a little then proceed to kiss me, then he sat quietly, never happen before lol. So you’re in a good hands with Bryan. Don’t worry leaving your pet with him. 5 stars all around. Thank you Bryan!”

“Danielle was the perfect sitter. She has a big back yard and three playful pups that helped my dog fit in very quickly. She also kept me updated every couple of hours to ease the stress of leaving my dog with a sitter for the first time. I highly recommend!”

About: I've been professionally caring for pets for over four years through my home-based pet sitting business, Yech's Pet Haven. I am also a licensed boarding facility, giving pet parents added peace of mind that their dogs are staying in a safe and compliant environment. During that time, I've cared for dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes, including puppies, seniors, and pets with special routines or medications. I have experience safely managing multiple dogs, supervising playtime, and making sure every pet receives the individual attention they deserve. Growing up surrounded by animals, including dogs, horses, and goats, has given me a lifelong understanding of animal behavior and care. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, low-stress environment where every pet feels right at home while you're away. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine. Since I run a home-based boarding facility, I am able to provide frequent attention, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and supervision throughout the day. I keep my boarding numbers small so each pet receives personalized care and plenty of one-on-one attention. My schedule is built around making sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while their family is away. I provide a safe, calm, and loving home environment where pets can relax and feel comfortable. As a licensed boarding facility, I prioritize cleanliness, safety, and responsible pet care. I carefully manage introductions, supervise interactions, and separate pets during meals, rest time, or whenever needed. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and individual preferences, so they feel right at home.
“I couldn’t be happier with the care Jordyn P. gave my dog, Loki, while I was away for four days. She is the true definition of a dog lover! From the moment Loki arrived, she made sure he felt comfortable and loved. She gave him plenty of playtime, lots of one-on-one attention, and treated him like part of her family. It was exactly the home-like environment I was hoping for. Jordyn was also excellent at communicating. She kept me updated every day with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. The best part was seeing Loki come home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. That told me everything I needed to know—he was comfortable, felt at home, and was genuinely loved during his stay. I highly recommend Jordyn P. to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and compassionate dog sitter. Loki and I will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you, Jordyn, for taking such wonderful care of my boy!”

About: I currently have 2 dogs + 4 cats! I love them and care for them like they are my babies. I always make sure I keep them stimulated and happy to ensure a healthy and loving life. I would love to care for and love your animals like my own! I am working per-diem starting in october. My schedule is changing but if you just reach out i'd be happy to share that with you! I am super flexible and can help you with anything! My dogs are very dog friendly and loving to almost all other dogs. They are very socialized to other dogs and cats. I can walk your dog, let them out, or you can drop them off at my house for daycare or meet me to exchange them as well! If your dog isn't dog friendly I would be happy to keep them separate and comfortable! I have a fence for the dogs to run around and play. I also have ties outs for the dogs as well. We live in a wooded neighborhood on a dirt road that is super quiet!

“Jule took the such good care of my two Portuguese water dogs. They took such a liking to her and you could tell how comfortable they were around her. Any time I need dog care in the area she will be my first call!”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs in my neighborhood. Various tasks such as, dog sitting full time, or just taking on a short walk and feeding dinner. I’m a full time student, but I have a lot of free time in my schedule during the week and weekends. I love all dogs and work very well with them! I do not have the space to care for dogs, but I am comfortable in other owners homes, and I am very comfortable with any dog that I meet.
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dallas
Jennifer was absolutely fantastic with our puppy! She’s only 12 weeks old and it was our first time leaving her so it was a bit nerve wracking for us! Jennifer eased those nerves immediately by sending multiple updates and pictures throughout the day. We will definitely be using her again and I guarantee my puppy will be so excited to go back!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Dallas home-away-from-home, packing:

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
