I have cared for all kind of dogs and cats throughout my life. I have also walked all different dogs. Family and friends have relied on me to take care of their cats as well as their dogs. I can give cats and dogs medication if needed. I had a cat when I was teenager with diabetes so I leaned how to give injections to an animal.

I left my 9 year old Frenchton and a 4 month old Frenchton puppy with Amberly and her 13 year old daughter to watch for 2 weeks and she assured me that she would take good care of them. Both dogs came back STARVING, (I wrote out directions to feed them twice a day and I believe she fed that at night only as she said she only feeds her own dog at night). They stunk like they sat in piss for days. I had to wash their beds and collar (wrong one too), harness and leashes as soon as I got in my house and bathed each one scrubbing the smell off of their fur. Since my daughter held the puppy in the car and my husband held my older dog (and I bathed them) We had to wash the stench off of our clothes too. I believe she placed the puppy and my older dog in the puppy's pen for the whole time they were there and that they stayed in that pen (4'x2') together. Upon getting them cleaned off, washing the shit off the pen and also having to wash the waterproof rug I left, (which has bite marks and missing chunks as if the puppy was so hungry, he chewed and ate it to fill his little belly). my older dog was laying in the puppies bed in the pen and was scared. She never did that before I left them with Amberly. Amberly lost both dog's medical records then said I never left them. When she texted the next day, she blamed me for leaving originals and it was my fault, even though she found them under her own dog's food. She was very nasty on the texting each time we asked when we could pick up the medical papers and then ranted that she had a full time job and wouldn't miss or be late due to the medical records. I do not recommend anyone leave their animals with this person. She is moving to Pennsylvania so look out and do not use her services. Here is a snippit of the conversation after I asked her to please find the medical records as they were important and proved my dog's and puppy's vaccines: Me: Hi Amberly, I did leave both Otis and Fiona’s medical papers in the bag when I dropped them off. I’m pretty sure that they were in a Ziploc bag together, but I’m gonna need them back. So how long do you think it will take you to look through your things and get them back to me? These are Medical papers. I trusted you with them watching the dogs and I really need them back. 7:39 PM Amberly: Okay I will find them. Sorry 7:40 PM Me: Thank you. They are very important. 7:40 PM I never heard anything the next morning and then I saw the barding closed out on the app since I had picked up my dogs. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to contact Amberly or her contact me to get the papers back. So I called Rover to document that Amberly had my pup's medical records and that I needed them back. Tue, Aug 11 ROVER: Hi Amberly, This is Grachel with Rover Support. I wanted to reach out because John has had some difficulty getting in touch with you about Fiona's medical records. I hope everything is okay on your end and that there isn’t an emergency, please reach out to John as soon as possible to confirm your availability. Reminder: Any response to this message will go directly to John. To contact Rover Support, message us through the app or at Rover.com, or call us at 888-453-7889. Best, Grachel 10:54 AM Amberly: Not even 24 hours later call river and say you can’t get connect with me I’ve been answering you. You are the first person to bake a big deal bout me your dog attacked my dog and children 11:02 AM The boarding just closed and I tried to call you to ask if you found their medical papers yet and the phone no longer asked for my name to ring through to you. I couldn't leave a message and I could no longer text you. That is why I called. You gave the medical records with proof of rabies vaccines and I haven't even registered Otis with our town yet and need that proof. Without his and Fiona's proof of vaccines, I will have to pay to have them redone. I really need those papers back. 11:05 AM Me: What are you talking about my dog attacked your dog and children you never said this to me... 11:06 AM Me: I really just need the papers back before you move. Thank you so much! 11:06 AM Amberly: And you need to give me time to get them and look for them, but you literally picked up your dogs not even 24 hours ago. I had to go to work at 4 AM. I have an actual full-time job that I support my children with. go Rover and say you couldn’t get in contact with me. You even have my cell phone number but again I am traveling to don’t take care of my children schooling plus I did work this morning 4 AM to 10 AM when I get home, I will look for them once again. 11:10 AM Me: It is because the boarding just closed in the app. It was finished. I guess it's automatic that it closes. And I did try to call you and I did try to call the number in Rover and they both said this Caller has no phone message Setup so you can't leave a message. It used to say leave your name we will contact the person you're calling which you've done before and picked up my call that was no longer an option. So what would you do if you need papers back and the person is unavailable to be contacted? 11:12 AM Amberly: The SPCA gave me no paperwork for my dog. I went over a year later got him his shot and guess I didn’t carry on. You didn’t need to bring me the paperwork, especially if they’re important and you didn’t have copies and now it’s all my fault. It seems like you made a mistake. Hitting someone you don’t know important paperwork I took care of your animals like I promise make sure they were fine even give you a huge discount for Otis no one else would’ve done that so you’re welcome the medical records. She didn’t lose her life. 11:15 AM Amberly: once again, you have my cell phone number you called me a couple times on that cell phone number and you texted me on that cell phone number 11:15 AM Amberly: I found it was on the floor under my dog’s food bin. 7:03 PM My husband: Thank you so much Amberly for looking further them and finding them! Is it ok for Joely to pick them up tomorrow? She is also friendly with an attorney in town, just before the river going into Walden. They are on the right side of the road before the river. You can brings these to them tomorrow, and leave them there for Joely to pick up if you'd rather her not come to your home. Just let them know you are dropping them off for Joely and let me know and she'll get them from there, to make it easy for you. Thank you again for locating them. It saves a lot of trouble, and money getting the pups more shots and we really appreciate you finding them! Thank you! 8:58 PM My husband: Hi Amberly, I would like to pick up the medical papers for the dogs. I haven't heard from you. Please tell me when I can pick it up or when my wife can pick it up or if you would like to drop it off at the attorneys office, I told you about then she can pick it up from there. Thank you I hope to hear from you sometime this afternoon. Both dogs have to go to the vet tomorrow and I need them, the puppy has to get an updated booster shot thanks so much! 3:09 PM Amberly: I do have a full-time job and I am just getting out of my job working 11 hours 3:10 PM Amberly: When you messaged me I was asleep for my job. I will get there sorry I went yo work today. 3:11 PM Amberly: That’s a little more important 3:11 PM My husband: Please don't be snippy with me. We should've been able to pick up the paperwork when we picked up the dogs. You texted me last night at seven. I got back to you before nine. I just haven't heard from you since so I wanted to make sure that you received the message. 3:11 PM Amberly: And I didn’t remember where it was my apologies but again you didn’t have to give them to me so that was your mistake. Not mine. I found them, but I do work a full-time job. I’m not quitting or leaving early for anybody. I will get her the paperwork either today, tomorrow or Friday. I don’t know what time I’m getting out at. I’m sorry that I work. 3:12 PM My husband: And yes, your job is important, it sounds like you would like to drop the medical papers off at the attorneys office not far from your home. That is fine. I just need to pick them up for the appointment tomorrow at 4 PM. Please just text me when you drop them off and we'll take it from there. Thank you so much. 3:13 PM Amberly: And I go to bed at eight 830 because I get up at 3 AM and work about 12 to 11 hours 3:13 PM My husband: Can we just pick them up this afternoon then? 3:13 PM My husband: What time will you be home awake so we can just pick them up before you go to bed before we interfere with your sleep or before we interfere with your full-time job. Thank you. 3:13 PM Amberly: I’ll leave them on the porch you can grab them I don’t care I don’t. You don’t need to see me. You’ve been rude to me ever since. I accidentally lost them then found them then complained because you haven’t heard from me less than 24 hours that you picked up your dogs 3:14 PM My husband: Please kindly leave them in the Ziploc that we drop them off with in case it rains so they don’t get ruined. Please leave them on the porch with something heavy on top so they don’t blow away. Thank you I will have my wife come out tomorrow morning to pick them up. The puppy has an appointment at 4 PM for a booster shot and if we don’t have it, we have no proof that he had the first shot so we need them. Thank you. 3:15 PM Amberly: You definitely aren’t grateful that I took care of your dogs. You just care about that paperwork more. Sorry that I lost the paperwork. 3:15 PM Amberly: They’re in the Ziploc. I never took them out. I’m done talking. I’m blocking you now. The paper will be on my porch. Goodbye. 3:16 PM This is not the kind of communications I would have ever dreamed of getting from someone that genuinely loved pets. Again, my puppy and dog were starving when they got home, smelled like they were laying in urine for days, as did their beds and I still haven't received my dog's collar. It was the same color as her leash with my daughter's keychain on it which was not returned. I have some other dog's purple and magenta collar that I have never seen before, but didn't realize it when I was there, because it was so filthy dirty! Amberly also claimed her dog stole my some of my puppies toys, and upon picking them up, I had to ask her to please get 2 of their 4 bowls. Very irresponsible and truly left my 9 year old dog traumatized and the puppy so far has taken 3 days to get him to calm down, and sit when asked. He had started training before we left him with Amberly and none of it was used. We left a large jar of treats that wasn't even opened. For 2 weeks I don't believe either of my pups got any treats. Stay away from this woman. She is a terrible dog sitter and I would NEVER use her again nor would I ever recommend her to anyone.

Amberly took good care of my pup. She sent me cute pictures of hers playing with mine, yet also told me about sometimes needing to separate them (which I consider good - means she was attentive). She gracefully accommodated my travel delays affecting pickup. I would use her again!
