About: I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up in Alaska raising ducks, chickens, rabbits…even a ferret! I’ve always had dogs and a cats. I currently live with a senior pup and a young cat. We have several backyard chickens too! I worked as a professional dog walker/pet sitter for a number of years in Connecticut. I’m used to being outside rain or shine. I also know the importance of being able to adapt to each pets’ individual needs including special diets or medication. I work from home with a lot of flexibility so with proper planning and coordination I can be there to meet you and your furry friends’ needs. I have a fenced yard and a dog who doesn’t mind the company of other well socialized animals. We do have a cat and small child so please consider that before booking. If staying at your home, I will treat it just as my own with respect and consideration for you and your family and your privacy.

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, birds, fish, and gerbils. I grew up with many dogs in my household of all sizes and ages. I've cared for many cats as well, including spicy and shy cats. I am active and enjoy running and playing with dogs! As a part time job I teach pickleball clinics. After a successful IT career for 11+ years, I am now a student going back to school to get my master's in social work and have open availability for pet care throughout my week. About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes from 10lbs to 100+ lbs, ages puppy to senior, all with various temperaments, energy levels and medical needs. I’ve also cared for many cats ranging from 2 years old to 13 years old I’m a middle school teacher on summer break with A LOT of availability. I regularly free weekdays during the day through the evening and even available at night and through the night most days of the week. I have a large fenced in yard with that’s mostly shaded by surrounding trees. With easy access from a back deck. We also have a screened in porch for good airflow on hotter days. I live in a nice and walkable neighborhood and I regularly visit local walking/hiking trails in the area.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life (labs) but love all breeds and cats as well. Grew up with senior dogs and currently have a 1y old puppy that I train and have taken care of since he was 2m old as well as a 6y old that I’ve trained since she was a puppy. I’m currently taking part time classes at USM in Portland during the week, so I am often flexible and available during the day. Based on your needs, I am able to accommodate your schedule for weeks or weekends!! I’ve trained my current dogs to leash walk and take them to the park off-leash whenever we go. They are both crate trained as well.

About: Hello, my name is Vicki and I absolutely love animals. I used to work at a doggie daycare which was amazing. Now I work a Mon-Fri 8am-5pm job which gives me a lot of free time. I am comfortable with all size and shapes of dogs as I own and live with a 125lb rottweiler and 50 hound/pit mix. So if you have a big house horse that needs a strong walker I'm more than comfortable with that. But I also have two cats that are 7 and 9 pounds so I'm very happy with a small cuddle buddy as well. On top of dogs and cats I have taken care of lizards, fish, and a bird. If your baby has a heartbeat and love I can't wait to spend time with them. As stated above I work 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday so I am not out super late or early in the morning. I like to take my own dogs on adventure walks/hikes after I get home and on weekends. As I will be staying in your home I like to come by before the stay so that A: you and your pet can meet me and to B: ask you about the routine in your home. Whether you have rooms, crates, eating schedules, medication etc. I am also more than happy to read any lists or guides that you feel the need to leave as it helps me to make sure nothing is overlooked or forgotten.

About: *Recently moved to Yarmouth, Maine and back on Rover - accepting new clients* 🐾 🐾 Rates 🐾 🐾 I am happy to travel but may need to add a mileage fee for bookings outside of my 15 minute radius. All rates are negotiable. *Boarding: I only host 1 family's pets at a time. This provides a safer environment for your pet and an "at home" feel with plenty of attention, especially for reactive or aging dogs. I don't use crates or kennels but if you want to bring yours along that is fine, I also have 1 medium sized crate on hand if needed. I have a very clean home and welcome pets to feel comfortable if they would like to snooze on the sofas, bed, and we have a secure fenced in yard, but I do not leave dogs unattended in the yard. I usually take my dog to the local dog parks and nature trails and would bring yours along too. 🐾 🐾 Basic Info 🐾 🐾 I am an EMT, certified in Pet CPR + First Aid. For the past 25 years, I have been an animal caretaker. My favorite part is getting to know all of the different breeds and personalities. Your pets will be treated with love, and be as comfortable in my home as yours. I always send lots of photos at the end of each day. 🐾 🐾 My daily schedule 🐾 🐾 I work from home as a university professor. My position is remote, so I am able to work anywhere with a wifi connection. I work for rover occasionally and my schedule is typically super organized and flexible. We do at least 2 active hours per day- and we try to squeeze in as many hikes as possible. My boyfriend is also very helpful with the dogs- if they are up for it, he will take them jogging every night.
