“Kadie took the best care of my girl. I was super nervous since this was my first time using Rover! I will always look for Kadie whenever I need someone to walk my baby in the future.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs in a home environment, including living with a friendly, social Senior Jack Russell Terrier who enjoys meeting and playing with other dogs. This has given me hands-on experience with different energy levels and personalities. I provide daily walks, feeding, playtime, supervision, and plenty of affection. I focus on creating a safe, structured, and loving environment where every dog feels comfortable, secure, and cared for like my own. As a stay-at-home dog mom, I’m home throughout the day, which means your pup will never be left alone for long periods and will always have loving supervision and companionship. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being always come first. I offer a clean, calm, and fully supervised home where your pup is cared for like my own and can feel safe, relaxed, and loved.

“Gretchen is awesome! The constant contact while I was out of town certainly made it easier to leave my babies in her hands. Thanks Gretchen for being so compassionate and loving to my babies!”

About: After retiring as an Assistant Superintendent, I found myself looking for the perfect way to stay active, connected, and fulfilled—and caring for dogs turned out to be exactly that. I’m a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for four-legged companions of all sizes and personalities. I’ve spent my life surrounded by animals and currently wear many proud titles: dog mom to a 90-pound lovable Labrador, doggy grandma to a black Lab, a Dachshund mix, four beagles, and even a black cat. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me, and I’ve gained years of hands-on experience through family and close friends. I genuinely enjoy walking dogs, spending quality time with them, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’m comfortable providing necessary medications once proper instructions are given, and I always prioritize each pet’s routine and well-being. For safety and personal reasons, I do not care for animals in households that also have snakes or other reptiles. Otherwise, I welcome the opportunity to care for your furry family members with the same love and attention I give my own. If you’re looking for a dependable, compassionate dog walker who treats every pet like family, I’d love to meet you and your pup. I am newly retired and have ample time during my day and week to take care of your fur babies. This is what I want to do in my retirement! I love all pets the same and show them the love and comfort that they need while you’re away. I am happy to conform to their routines and make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable around me.

I stick to your pet’s routine, offer regular potty breaks, and make sure they have plenty of time for cuddles, play, and rest. About: I worked in dog grooming for 3 years , while also pet sitting for neighbors and friends. Taking great care of them. I have a deep passion for animals. I do pet care as a full time job + career. It is my passion. My purpose. I spend everyday with animals and taking care of them. I have a fenced in yard , a dog park 3 miles from my house with a 1.1 mile walking trail distance. I live in an amazing neighborhood.
About: On walks, I’ve been known to smile at dogs yet frown at the owners. Not really, but it’s true that seeing pets on walks is my motivation for doing them in the first place. I only have one little pupper (Bella) who is 14 years old! Although she has the energy of a toddler, the way she follows me into any room any time I’m in the house is something I’ll miss when she’s gone. We take walks daily, and I’m careful not to over feed her or harm her in any way. Even though this is my first app, I think the foundation of trust and looking for any signs the lore is showing (as well as my clear communication with pet and owner)

About: I’ve cared for my 13-year-old Yorkiepoo since I was a child, so I have hands-on experience with both energetic puppies and senior dogs. I understand the patience, attention, and consistency older dogs need, including feeding routines, gentle handling, and keeping up with their medications. I’m here to make them comfortable. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love making sure dogs feel safe and cared for. I am a remote college student. Therefore, I now have time for a job. I’m flexible and make time for feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. Since I already care for my own dog, I’m used to being consistent and attentive, so adding pet care fits easily into my routine. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment for every pet. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I stay very attentive and keep pets secure at all times. I enjoy being active, so I make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and fresh air. I also follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules and medications, and I have experience caring for my senior dog with past heart issues, so I’m patient and attentive to each pet’s needs.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
