“Admittedly, I was a bit nervous to leave my quirky tripod at anyone’s house. Mylene is my queen but she is anxious, nervous and can be slow to warm up. Michelle and her family were the perfect fit for Mylene. It was so nice to not have to worry about Mylene while on vacation. I could tell that Mylene received a ton of attention on Mylene’s terms, exercise and clear/consistent direction from Michelle. This is why her stay went smoothly and she didn’t destroy anything due to not being stressed and she was able play with 2 other dogs. About: I grew up around lots of animals (cats, dogs, chickens, goats, reptiles), and I now have a lovely cat of my own named Julian. I absolutely love getting to spend time with other people’s pets. At this point in my life, I’d say I’m very much both a dog-person and a cat-person. I go on walks every day before or after work, and during my lunch break. Walking a dog would fit naturally into that routine. I’m willing to wake up early in the morning if needed, and if the client lives in Santa Fe, I would have the capacity to visit the dog or cat during my midday break from work as well. If the client lives outside of Santa Fe, I’m still available every evening for walks, feeding, and giving the dog/cat attention and human contact. I’m typically able to stay overnight at a client’s home any night of the week if needed. I treat pets with care, respect, and attentiveness. I’m a clean and tidy houseguest, and will respect the client’s privacy and boundaries. Whether you need me to take your dog for a walk, stop by once or twice a day to feed your cat, or stay overnight to keep your pet(s) company, I will be professional, responsible, and caring towards your pets. About: Kayla is our 2-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loves dogs! We want to help her grow up learning how to be gentle, kind, and responsible when caring for pets. Of course, we’ll be right there with her every step of the way, teaching and helping her along the way. Daily Care Routine We follow a flexible, rotational care schedule so each pet gets individual attention and plenty of opportunities to go outside. Morning: First thing in the morning, we take each pet outside one at a time for a bathroom break and some fresh air. Once everyone has had their turn, they come inside for breakfast. Indoor Time: After breakfast, pets are able to relax and enjoy time indoors in a comfortable, climate-controlled environment. They have access to toys and a TV for entertainment, along with plenty of attention and interaction throughout the day. Potty Breaks: Every couple of hours, we rotate through the pets and take them outside individually for another potty break. We continue this routine throughout the day, adjusting it based on each pet’s needs. Because we work from home and are here throughout the day, we’re very flexible. We can give pets extra potty breaks, attention, playtime, or quiet time as needed. Our goal is to keep them comfortable, happy, and on a routine that feels as close to home as possible. A Comfortable Home Away From Home Our kennel is designed to feel less like a traditional kennel and more like a comfortable home away from home. We have three individual kennels, each equipped with a cozy dog bed so every guest has their own comfortable space to rest. For our longer-term guests, we also have a dedicated doggy bath to help keep them clean and comfortable during their stay. During the day, pets can enjoy time indoors in our climate-controlled space, complete with a TV for entertainment and plenty of toys and attention. When it’s time to stretch their legs or take a potty break, they have access to our fenced yard where they can safely get some fresh air and movement. At night, we use a sound machine to create a calm, peaceful environment and help everyone settle in for a restful night. Because we’re home throughout the day, we’re able to give each guest individual attention and adjust their routine to fit their needs. We want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with us.

About: Since I was about 7 years old I have been taking care of dogs of different breeds,I love animals so much and always have loved them! I would love to take care of your furry babies. I also have trained my small dogs under 10 lbs to use the puppy pad and different little tricks! I am currently working part time and soon will be going to college but I am available to take care of your furry babies after 5 pm Monday through Friday! I would have plenty of time to make sure your furry babies feel welcomed and happy! I have a fenced yard in my backyard where your pet can run free, I also do have two other friendly dogs that will give your pet great company and make them feel very welcomed!
