She stopped by in advance to meet our two dogs and was sweet to them and made sure she knew where everything they needed or liked was so she could make them happy and comfortable when we planned for her to care for them. Michelle completed two one-hour walks for us today and gave the dogs time to play, walk, relieve themselves and relax. She did everything we asked her to do and it meant the world to us knowing that our dogs were safe and cared for while we were away for the day. She was respectful to our home, too. Michelle sent us photos and updates after each walk so we’d know what they were up to, and she’s always been incredibly friendly and pleasant. She also knows a lot about pets, and has experience with special-needs dogs, which helped because one of our dogs is blind and just needs a little extra TLC. We are so glad we found Michelle. About: Throughout my life, animals and children have been drawn to my soft energy. I’ve had and been around dogs and cats all my life. I’ve been working with my giant schnauzer and friends’ dogs that range from rescued grey hounds to small mixed breeds. I am the go-to for any pet sitting for the fur babies. I’m an aunt to a female brindle kitty that is a sassy lady but loves to snuggle me when I visit. Additionally, I frequently watch a reactive grey hound and I am able to still provide the attention she deserves. I understand patience is key when working with people and animals. I currently am a travel Behavioral Therapist for children with autism. I travel to clients’ homes and usually am not gone for more than 5 hours including commute. My weekly schedule can vary but I am clear through with my communication and the expectations needed for any situation. I am typically a homebody who enjoys movies, games, and reading. When house sitting, I usually hang around with your fur baby and offer emotional support until you return. I’ll follow their lead and offer bids for connection. I stick to the routine schedule provided to me (feedings and potty breaks). While providing the known routine for comfort to the animal, I use this time to attempt pairing whether that be with pets of affection, extra treats (if allowed and within acceptable limit), or structured play time.

About: In high school I worked for a company called Camp Bow-Wow. This was essentially a summer camp for pups! I worked there for 3 years until I graduated and got accepted to URI. While at URI I joined a club that allowed me to walk dogs around campus and make new connections. It also gave me the opportunity to learn more about taking care of dogs. Through this club I was able to get certified to train seeing eye dogs for the blind. Now I am getting my Master’s degree and still love dogs!! I am working Full-Time however, I work in a public school. My hours on a typical day are 9am until 3pm, but this varies! This leaves me with plenty of time in the afternoon to help you get the care you need for your pets! I am very detail oriented and take instructions left for me very seriously. For others that I have dog sat I make sure to walk and feed them at the correct times in order to keep the pets in their normal routine. This helps the pets feel less anxious and stressed leading to happier companions! I also love to play with animals which gives them the mental stimulation they need and wears them out at the end of the day keeping them calmer and happier!

About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. I grew up training and taking care of two Boston Terriers. Our first one was named Bailey, and my second one is named Oliver!. Also I take care of 5 parakeets and 1 cat who is 18 years old, and named Teddy, everyday. I have also cared for several Lop earred bunnies and Lionhead bunnies too. I took part in a work study program in Highschool and I was taking care of horses, goats, roosters, chickens as well as I got to follow the Veterinarian at the farm, and watch her as she treated and took care of all the farm animals. I even was able to assist her at Times with some activities, and pets different needs. Right now, I am in college in a Vet Tech program. Once I finish my program, I plan to go to Vet school because my ultimate goal has always been to become an Animal Doctor! To be honest, since I was just a toddler, I have been telling my family just how much I want to take care of animals, both big and small and everyone of them in between! I have been told for many years, that I understand animals in ways that not everyone can. Almost like it's a special gift I was given! Lol. I have no memories of my life without all my fur-babies. And right now, Oliver is my little side kick! And I would really be honored to help you take care of your special fur-babies too! It fits because I love caring for animals! And because I already care for my pets everyday, with joy. So I would really love to be able to assist you in taking care of your pets when you are not able. My availability on majority of the week and weekends are open. I have always been very patient and careful with animals. I believe that us humans, are the advocates for our pets. Its so important that I too, advocate and help, and honor your pets as if they are my own! I am also trustworthy when it comes to taking care of animals, feeding them, walking and playing with them. Also being patient with them too. Because our pets are like little humans, and will have "off" days too! I have learned to accommodate my pets regardless of circumstances. I was always raised to treat other people, and their things including home, yard, etc.. especially their pets, as I would want people to treat my own, with respect. And I value the responsibility that my clients will place on me very much. And I will always honor their pets and them/their home, etc, with all my heart. About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and am currently living with a wonderful pup, Sherlock, who is an incredible, calm, and friendly 50lb hound-mix. Given my experience living and caring for dogs, many friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with walking their dogs or pet-sitting their houses, and it's something I quite enjoy. I am a school teacher, so during this summer season, I have flexible availability to care for your loved ones whether it is for a nice day hike or at night for cuddles and protection! I live in an apartment right across from a park with empty fields and woodland trails. I love walking and would be more than happy to help you while gaining a trail partner in the process! And walks aside, we know all pets need a little bit of love, play, and a responsible caretaker, of which I'd be happy to provide!

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have watched numerous dogs in my adult life. I feel like dogs need to be challenged and given the proper attention throughout the day so they don’t become disruptive! I love to cuddle with them and pet them. I also don't mind throwing a ball in the yard or running after them. I am currently a part time teacher assistant in Coventry. I only work 4 hours a day, so this will be another service I can add. I am currently doing instacart after school. i do not have a fenced in yard but it is partially fenced in. I have a long lead that I would use, and would never leave you pet outside without supervision.

About: Half of my week I work with 50-100 dogs a day (sometimes more)! I have 3 dogs at home, as well as a cat. Not to mention, I have been surrounded by them my entire life. Thankfully, I come from a crazy dog loving family! What’s better than filling up my free time with some animal love?? About: Hello! My names Megan and i'm 26 years old. I am living at home and working on becoming a singer! I've always had pets since I was a little girl! Every animal that I have owned has been a huge part of my family. Many of my friends and family members have left their animals in my care, sometimes for weeks at a time. I always take care of them like they are my own. I have also taken animals in for weeks, even over a month at a time with no issues! All animals are different and unique in their own ways. I do my best to stick to their normal routines and training to keep them happy and on the right track! I'm overall a responsible, caring and trustworthy person. I'm excited that I heard about this opportunity and that I get to care for so many wonderful animals.

About: Although I have only been a dog mom to the most adorable cockapoo on this planet for the past 6 years, I have always been nurturing to any and all animals growing up. I took care of my neighbor's horse farm when they were away, which included their 3 dogs and 2 cats. Although my specialities do not include training or senior care, trust in knowing your doggo will be so incredibly loved while under my care! Although I'm currently working full time, I have the convenience of a 4 day work week, so I will be available all day on Thursday and during the weekends. I am also available for boarding overnights after 6pm if pickup by 9am the following morning. Your fur babes will also have the pleasure of socialization from my own doggo, Denver. I have a fenced in backyard and a 6 year old mini cockapoo to provide play and socialization for your fur babe. I am also able to crate your dog, if needed.
