About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of all different breads and sizes. I can handle large/strong dogs as well as puppies that need extra attention. We have kids and our own dog (Beira, the Scottish Terrier) so I know how important good, easy care is. As well as patience and attention. I am available during most days for quick care and walks built around school and kid activities. I have my own car and can make the trips or even transport if needed. Overnight care can be discussed as I'm open to it under a week long. I am flexible enough to meet your pet care needs. About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! Growing up with dogs and cats, my family always treated our pets as family, and I’ve carried that same philosophy into adulthood. In 2019, I adopted a senior cat who was diagnosed with diabetes shortly after joining my family. For the next three years, I dedicated myself to making his golden years as happy, healthy, and comfortable as possible. From administering insulin twice daily and keeping up with his care routine to encouraging exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection, caring for him taught me so much about patience, attentiveness, and the importance of understanding an animal’s individual needs. After saying goodbye to him in September 2023, I decided to take a break from pet ownership, but my love for animals hasn’t gone anywhere! In recent years, I’ve continued caring for friends’ cats and dogs, and I’m excited to get back into a regular routine of spending time with furry companions before eventually adopting again. My friends and family like to joke that I’m an “animal whisperer” because animals of all personalities seem to gravitate toward me! Whether they’re energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or simply looking for a cozy spot to curl up, I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each animal unique. I approach every pet with love, patience, and respect for their routines and comfort levels. I know how much trust goes into leaving your furry family member in someone else’s care, and my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. About: I have had many different pets since I was a young kid. Cats, dogs, birds, snake, rats, bearded dragon and a hedgehog. I am now 31 with 2 rescue cats, a rescue dog & another dog we got at 7 weeks in 2020 (all covid babies) we love them so so much, they are my children. I don’t have any special training but I am very patient, loving, experienced & happy to just hang with your pets!! I am a bartender and mainly work nights. So I am free during the day. I also only work about 3/4 days a week, so I have plenty of time to show your pet the proper attention. I have a full fenced in yard. 2 dogs, 1 rescue mix (65lbs) 1 pug/schnauzer mix (23lbs). 2 cats (1 acts like a dog herself) my pets have free roam of the house but I will crate yours if you prefer. I will abide by your rules!

Our dog can be strong willed and will take advantage of his size if he thinks he can get away with it. I initially chose Rich/aka Kemba on Rover because his profile pic was with an Akita! Regardless of that, Kemba was the perfect match for Rocky! He sent us some photos of their adventures out and about, and a sweet video walking (with a loose leash, no one was being pulled like a kite!) with a friend's dog. Our drop off and pickup was super smooth. Kemba made a suggestion for our meeting location that made it easy and he delivered Rocky to us at our Airbnb at the end of the afternoon. Being homeschooled for a majority of my childhood, I was able to learn about taking care of these needy animals at such a young age. We have fostered dogs and cats of almost all ages, from newborns to adults. About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of all different breads and sizes. I can handle large/strong dogs as well as puppies that need extra attention. We have kids and our own dog (Beira, the Scottish Terrier) so I know how important good, easy care is. As well as patience and attention. I am available during most days for quick care and walks built around school and kid activities. I have my own car and can make the trips or even transport if needed. Overnight care can be discussed as I'm open to it under a week long. I am flexible enough to meet your pet care needs. Basic walks and play, feeding, medicine distribution, and anything else you need. I myself am active so playing isn't an issue or even giving baths.
