“Adam was great with Poppy. He’s a gentle soul who clearly loves animals. However, when his kids were there overnight, we learned that Poppy isn’t comfortable with younger kids. Adam made it work for the brief period the kids were around Poppy, but it’s not realistic to need to separate young kids in the home and the visiting dog. Sadly we’re still looking for a sitter.”

“I can't say enough great things about both of my pups experience w/ Paula. I was so nervous leaving my Jack w/ anyone, as he is quite the bundle of energy. My older sweet girl (Shephard mix) can be timid and nervous, especially around other dogs. They both took to Paula instantly and came home safe, smiling, and exhausted from all the exercise they had between Paula's backyard setup and their pack of playmates. Paula is a great communicator, and sent plenty of pictures and updates so that I never had to worry about how they were doing. This stay allowed me to travel to my daughter on very short notice, and I will be reaching out to Paula first for any travel or boarding needs in the future.”

Let me say I was very hesitant about using Rover but was in a bind so I did and I’m so glad I did! My big boy had the best time of his life! Then I literally just got these picture they took of him! I must say I am beyond impressed with the level of care and love he got! “By far the best rover experience so far. Not only did Christina and her family take our dog, Truffle, last minute but they treated him like their own. With a big fenced in backyard and numerous walks around the neighborhood, Truffle had a blast. She sent consistent communications on how Truffle was doing as well as making sure her kiddos respected and knew how to handle a bigger dog. Above and beyond, would easily recommend Christina!”

About: I've had dogs since I can remember. My fiancé watched dogs in the past with rover and I would always help. Take the dogs to the park on my days off, play outside, and train them when needed. I am currently on veterans disability so I can focus my whole day to your furry friend. No worry about being stuck in all day. I have 5 acres of yard for them to play on. I have lots of space if needed, room for crates, room outside. Plenty of space so your furry friend won't feel trapped. My animals mind their own.

About: Lifelong dog and cat owner based out of Farmville. I currently have two six year old labs and two cats. All of my pets are highly socialized with other dogs. I have experience in sitting dogs ranging in size from miniature schnauzers to Great Pyrenees. My two labs are both male and littermates, so I also have lots of experience in keeping the peace! I have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run and play. If you’d like any further information, please don’t hesitate to reach out! Dogs are out for an hour in the morning, an hour at lunch, and until dark after work (I will usually sit with them while they play or throw rope/ball). The cats make sure our household stays on a strict 7AM-7PM feeding schedule with little room for error before complaints are issued. As mentioned above, I have a large fenced in backyard where your dog will have plenty of space to move around. I have 2 6’x6’ kennels back there as well in case anyone needs a time out. I have crates of every size for guest dogs when I am not home and they stay in a separate area from my pets to further mitigate any issues that could come up. We have about 15 toys/ropes around the house/yard to choose from and never have any disputes. I am not responsible if your dog comes home to you fatter or more spoiled.
