“Verlee and her family provided a safe and friendly home for our Livie. This was our first time boarding our puppy and Verlee turned a stressful drop off into a positive one. The daily updates and pictures allowed us to see that Livie was enjoying her stay and having fun! We will definitely be using Verlee for future boarding. Thank you so much!”

“This is the second time my doggies have stayed here. They are always well cared for and happy during their stay. I received plenty of photos and I could see them having fun. Thank you! We will definitely board again with you.”

“Radka was absolutely wonderful with Sully! She sent lots and lots of pictures and videos and Sully was having so much fun in each one. Her backyard is huge and a haven for any playful pup. She took great care in making sure Sully ate his food (he can be picky) and provided updates on how he was doing each day. Can’t recommend her enough and will be booking again in the future!!”

“Pei and Will took amazing care of Duke! They sent us many pictures and videos and were so kind and caring. Duke is a happy-go-lucky golden retriever but for the first time ever he was sad when he came home because he missed them and their sweet dog Ivy so much. We will definitely hook again in the future!”

“I can never say enough about about her wonderful services. My dog is older and has some special abilities that need to be tended to. She has dogs herself that are gentle and playful that supplies my dog with a plenty of playmates. She also never kenneled my dog which was a big worry for me. Time and time again I would never choose anyone else to take care of my sweet boy.”

“Christine and Nick are amazing! We are repeat customers and never worry about our pup when she is in their care. To say she gets spoiled is an understatement. Thank you for taking such good care of our fur baby.”

“Our dogs had a terrific time with Julie and her dogs. We appreciate being able to enjoy our travels knowing our pups are cared for in a loving home. We will gladly book with Julie again!”

“Marvin responded very quickly for a last minute request and was able to take care of my bully. He was communicative sent great pictures and gave him great walks. My guy came home happy. It was assuring to know he was still taken care of. 10/10 highly recommend”

“Paula took such good care of my good boys. They made new friends and had so much fun. Great attention and care. Love the property. Plenty of space for exploration and exercise.”

“Miranda is absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! She took care of our dog Archie last-minute (for the first time, too) and was incredibly kind, helpful, and constantly updated me while watching him. Archie had such a good time, he didn't want to leave! We also had to pick him up past midnight on our way back, and Miranda was extremely accommodating and, again, was just amazing overall. Her dog Crush was also super sweet and has become Archie's first best friend. We will absolutely be using her services again, and I highly recommend others to do the same!!!”

“Cassandre was absolutely amazing keeping our 6 month old puppy for a over a week. It was our first time leaving our pup, but we were comforted knowing she was in such good hands. Cassandre was super with communicating and sending daily pictures and videos. We were lucky to find her and plan on using her again in the future.”

“G was amazing with the dogs! They enjoyed themselves immensely, were well adjusted on their return, and I was so thankful for her updates and engagement with them. Excellent stay and won’t hesitate to schedule my next one with her!”

“Laura took great care of my boys. She sent pictures everyday and kept me posted on how they were doing. She genuinely cared for our boys like they were her boys. I will definitely book with Laura again.”

“Marshmallow had an amazing time! He didn’t want to leave when we came to get him. He was very tired when we got home and was the quietness he’s been, which is saying something for a 4 month old puppy!! Will definitely be coming back soon.”

About: Hi! My husband and I own a farm in Amelia, VA with horses, sheep, chickens, and our cats and dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and am a complete animal lover. I work in the agriculture sector with a flexible schedule and my husband works from home full time. My schedule allows me to be home with your pets as often as they need. I have been house sitting for over 15 years and absolutely love being able to love other people’s pets like my own! My house also has a fenced in yard, and is great if your pets want to come stay with me as well. I have experience with dogs, cats, most exotic pets, horses, and any barnyard animal you could think of. We are also very experienced in senior care, and often foster for our local shelter so are used to a lot of different behaviors and dog personalities. I am available for pet sitting and farm sitting. I am looking forward to hearing from you! I have a flexible work schedule and my office is less than a mile from my home, so I can stop in often. My husband is also very experienced in animal care and works from home full time. Our dogs spend most of their day snoozing with my husband while he works. They go on 3-4 walks per day and have a fenced yard to run around. Guest dogs are treated like our own! Drop in clients can expect their dogs to be loved on and cared for as desired for 30-60 minutes per drop in.
About: We breed and train Chesapeake Bay Retrievers that are raised for Hunting, Hunt Tests, Obedience, and for conformation(shows). We have been involved with many breeds including Great Danes, Setters, Retrievers, and even Mutt Mixes. We start the day before sunrise to let the dogs out for a run and feed them. Around lunch time the pups are let out to play and exercise some more. We feed animals again around sunset or about 12 hours from their breakfast meal and let them exercise and play. One more outing before we go to bed where we always check in with our "puppy cams" before nodding off to sleep. Your dogs will be exercised multiple times a day on the farm on an adventure that changes based on the weather. In the summer we put a kiddie pool out for them to play in which we keep nice and clean. Some warm days we may take the dogs on a hike to the creek in the summer time where they can run around and have fun, other days it may be an outing around the fenced in areas. Any specific medical needs will be taken care of based on their needs and within our abilities. We will exercise them individually unless we are informed otherwise on their play pals.
“Dylan provided extraordinary care for my girl Delilah. Delilah is a amazing dog well manner but likes her space. Dylan was very cautious and made sure she was comfortable. His communication was outstanding. I strongly believe we found a home away from home with Dylan. Very appreciative!!!”

“Laura was fantastic! She sent updates and pictures everyday. Nellie had the most fun with Laura and her family. I loved how they really adopted Nellie into the family for the week!”

“This was my first time leaving Tucker (2-yr old, intact Rhodesian Ridgeback) with Collen and we couldn't be happier with the way she kept and cared for him. Colleen had the perfect setup, large fenced-in back yard and 2 young pups for Tucker to play with :). I keep a tracking collar on Tucker and I could see that Colleen was walking him several miles a day - which was awesome! He's a big dog and needs daily exercise. I received updates and photos every day and that Tucker was feeling comfortable there with Colleen and her family. Tucker did not lose any weight and showed no signs of anxiety/stress when we picked him up and acted/behaved the same way (good) that we left him. I hope to use Colleen as a sitter in the future, and highly recommend her! Thank you Colleen!!!”
