“Lauren was fabulous! We did a meet & greet a few weeks before, and the girls ran into her home like they had been there before. She sent me lots of cute photos of the girls while they were with her too. We would definitely use her again. Thanks again, Lauren!”

“Blake is the Best!! Our Koda absolutely LOVES him! He sent us pics and updates throughout Koda's stay with him, which we really appreciated. We didn't have to worry about a thing knowing our pup was in Blakes care. He is our 'Go-To' when we need a sitter. Highly recommend!!”

“Brenda was terrific with our girls! She managed our rambunctious puppy and sometimes cranky little old lady very well. She has a great setup for dogs including a nice yard. She kept us updated with pics and videos. We would definitely recommend Brenda!”

“Madelin was incredible with the care of our Oreo. She is practically a dog whisper! She kept us updated and even got your dog to open up to other dogs which is something I didn’t know was possible! I will definitely be rebooking with her again!”

“Kellie and her daughter instantly binned with my Maggie and I knew she was in good hands. We had a meet & get the day before so I could see their lovely home and big backyard which helped put my mind at ease. Kellie sent pics during her stay so I could see she was being well cared for and Maggie was relaxed and happy when I picked her up. Kellie even helped recommend a good vet for me after noticing some symptoms my dog was having that might need to be checked out. Will definitely use them again next time I go out of town!”

“She was amazing with our little Kashew! Always sending pictures to let us know he was ok and treating him like part of the family. Definitely will be using her again for our next trip! 5 stars!”

“Nova definitely enjoyed her stay with Nakeya. She was great with keeping us updated on Nova and taking care of her while we were away. Will definitely choose Nakeya again for future stays 🐾🐾🐾”

“Our dog was well taken care of, we received lots of picture updates and he had a great stay. The sitter even extended our stay when our flight was delayed. Overall great experience!”

“Kim is so awesome hands down. We had an emergency so we needed last minute boarding and she was able to accommodate us - literally the next day. I called her at 10pm the night before and she picked up. One of our dog was hurt but we had travel plans the next day but Kim took just great care of him. We were be able to be at peace on our Kim bc Kim always takes such good care of them and regularly keeps us updated with their pictures and information. Moreover, she was flexible with the pick up time since we couldn’t make it as early as we wanted to. We would definitely use Kim every time we need boarding for our dogs 🏆”

“Raven is the best! It was our first time leaving our pug with a sitter and she went above and beyond taking care of her. Before leaving our dog with her she took detailed notes on her routine and how to take care of her. She sent pictures throughout the day while she was with her and updated me on how she’s doing. Raven is very attentive and caring. I’m looking forward to having her watch our dog again!”

I could tell by the pictures that my pup was having a blast. I left her with them over Christmas, and they even got her a couple toys for Xmas morning. So sweet! Would DEFINITELY recommend:)”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
