“I had a great experience with Khrys! She was incredibly easy to communicate with and made me feel at ease while I was away. I received daily photo updates of my cats, which I really appreciated. They looked happy and well cared for the entire time. I’ll definitely be using her again I highly recommend to all!”

“Paige and Thomas did a great job with our 2 cats. They both took to Paige right away (very hard for them to do) and came out to see her when she and Thomas arrived. Paige was dealing with some personal circumstances yet was always prompt, polite, and overly communicative (which I really appreciated!!!). I would highly recommend them for your beloved animals.”

“I highly recommend Jessica! This is the second time she has watched my dogs. I have to hire someone to give my dog his meds at night if I am not around, and I trust her to do it! She is very kind and keeps you updated during the check in.”

“Can’t thank Donovan enough for watching our little pup! He is super friendly, on time, extremely reliable and truly cares about the pets he is watching. He is the best sitter we have ever found and you will not regret booking with him.”

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a teenager, having family pets growing up and also including watching neighbors’ dogs as well as friends and family members pets over the years. Animals have always warmed up to me immediately, even when described as shy or unfriendly. I work full time but my position has me mobile and traveling to different locations around Long Island throughout the day. This allows me to make stops during the midday for walks. I will also be able to pet sit over night and weekends. I care for all pets as if they were my own. Beyond providing walks and feeding your pet they will also receive attention and affection as well. Along with the utmost care to be aware of drivers and other dogs during walks and to secure any property during overnight visits.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10, and it’s something that has always come naturally to me. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and look after their pets, and I love being that reliable person they can count on. Each pet has their own personality, and I really enjoy figuring out what makes them feel happy and comfortable — whether it’s a puppy who needs extra playtime or a senior dog who just wants calm companionship. Alongside my pet care experience, I’m CPR-certified for animals and also work as an EMT (for humans, though!), which has given me strong skills in responsibility, patience, and staying calm in any situation. I bring that same level of care and attentiveness to every pet I look after, making sure they feel safe, loved, and part of the family while their people are away. I work part-time as an EMT and full days as a medical assistant on Mondays and Tuesdays (and some weekends), which leaves me with a flexible schedule the rest of the week. Spending time with pets is honestly a perfect balance to my medical work — it feels like a little getaway, and I’ve really missed being around animals. Caring for pets lets me combine something I love with helping out families who need reliable support. I believe pets are happiest in their own familiar space, so I prefer to care for them in their home where they feel most comfortable. I follow each family’s routines closely — walks, meals, medication, and beyond to make sure pets feel safe and secure. With my healthcare background and pet CPR certification, I bring an extra level of attentiveness and responsibility. My goal is to make your pets feel loved and cared for, while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands!

“Rachel is the best! She is super friendly and responsible. She not only took care of my cat Mimi very well, and also helped with troubleshoot my pet camera, and watering plants. It’s really appreciated.”

About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my deep understanding of canine behavior, paired with hands-on experience in both puppy training and senior dog care. I’m skilled in basic obedience training for puppies, using positive reinforcement techniques to help them develop good habits early on. For senior dogs, I provide gentle, attentive care tailored to their unique needs, including administering medication, assisting with mobility, and maintaining a calm, comforting environment. I treat every dog like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared-for in my presence. Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily and weekly routine. I structure my days around the needs of the pets I care for—whether it’s scheduled feedings, walks, playtime, or administering medication. I plan my calendar to allow plenty of time for visits, check-ins, and quality one-on-one time with each pet, making sure they feel safe, loved, and attended to. Staying organized and consistent helps me maintain routines that pets thrive on, and I always build in extra time for cuddles, enrichment, and detailed updates for pet parents. It’s not just part of my schedule—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. When caring for pets in my client's home, I prioritize maintaining their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure while you're away. I follow detailed instructions for feeding, walks, medication, and playtime, and I always make sure their space is clean, safe, and stress-free. I give plenty of affection and attention, while also respecting each pet’s unique personality and boundaries. For pets in my own home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment with cozy resting spots, safe play areas, and regular outdoor time (for dogs). I limit the number of pets I host to ensure each one gets personalized care and attention. Whether in your home or mine, your pet’s well-being is always my top priority.

“Madie was amazing. The pictures she updated me with showed how happy the dogs were. Would definitely recommend her. She was great at keeping me updated even though it was just a drop in. Would gladly book with her again if needed.”

About: I have many years of pet care experience with dogs and cats. I've raised puppies and also taken care of senior dogs including my own dog, Scarlet. Currently retired so flexible as far as availability. Am a morning person so I can do early appointments. Nights also not a problem if needed. I would like to care for your pet in your home environment as that would be the least stressful option available to care for your pet.

About: Hello there! I, like many college kids, had a tough time during covid. Luckily, my roommate brought his perfect little puppy to school! He was training to be a CCI dog and honestly kept me sane. We would go on hikes, walks to the park, and say hello to anyone passing by. He became a bit of a local figure by the time he was turned in, well known for being such a sweet boy. I miss him every day and would love to go on adventures with puppies (of all ages) again!! I am unemployed as of right now. I will have all the time in the world to take your dog wherever they want and bring them back very happy and sleepy. I currently live directly inside a park (Wawapek preserve) and will be able to run them all around there. I love to jog so if a pup is feeling extra crazy we can run together! I am not comfortable with off leash dogs so we will remain on leash unless inside an obviously fenced in area. I also want to avoid dog parks with more than one or two other dogs present, as to mitigate any risk of problems happening. I will abide by any rules (crates, no sitting on furniture, etc) that the owner sets other than shock or prong collars. I haven't been taught how to handle dogs with those types so I don't think that would be the best fit. Besides that, I'll run that pup all around!

About: I’ve always loved dogs and cats since I was young. Although I’m mildly allergic to furs and therefore do not have pets of my own, I absolutely want to spend more time with others’ pets! I currently work remote at home. I have a rather flexible schedule to walk/care for pets on a daily basis, during the workday and potentially the weekends. I offer pet care for both dogs and cats and maybe other small mammals as well. I do not bring pets back to my home but am more than willing to spend time at the owner’s place based on needs.

About: Whether it's caring for my hyper-active Golden Retriever, my attitude-giving Tabby Cat, or my reoccurring client's King Charles' Spaniel and English Setters, I'm more than equipped to handle any size dog or cat. I'm used to staying at the pet's home, but willing to be flexible and stop by whenever needed. Fun Facts: Used to caring for horses, barn cats, goats, rabbits, and fish. Taking care of my pets is a huge part of my schedule as I find it's the best way to keep them happy and healthy. Daily walks, even weekly park visits, and lots of cuddles and scratches are all simple ways to keep my kids content and healthy. I make sure my pets are in their respective areas before leaving my home; this ensures that they are in a safe place and have access to any food or water they need. Care varies depending on client's wants/pet's needs, but I am willing to handle a crated pet or free-roaming (as long as they are well adjusted and don't mind strangers).

“Mike is so great with animals! My dog, Lulu can’t wait to see him for her daily walks. She’s so happy with him. My cat, Lily won’t go near anyone but loves Mike so much - she comes and rubs up against his legs when he’s getting Lulu ready for her walk or to feed her (love watching it all from work on my “doggy cam”) I can always depend on Mike to be there and be on time! He pays so much attention to them both. Highly recommend him!”

Her love for animals shines through in every interaction, and it’s clear she is both responsible and trustworthy in the way she cares for them.”

Cove Neck cat parents share their Rover experiences
Miranda was absolutely wonderful! We had to book with rover last minute due to our regular boarding place not taking diabetic cats any longer and we could not have dreamed of a better experience. Miranda was on time for every drop-in, she took plenty of pictures, and gave thorough updates so we knew our cat was doing well. A+++ would recommend and will definitely be looking to work with Miranda again in the future!

Miranda was so great with Eddie! She clearly loves animals and sent lots of cute photos of him playing. She was also a wonderful house sitter, being super clean and going above and beyond by taking in the mail and letting me know when I needed new litter. She is super responsive and reliable- highly recommend! :)
