About: I work at a doggy daycare. At this job I supervise groups of dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes. I’m experienced with feeding, administering medication, and basic grooming like baths and nail trims. Working at this job has taught me a lot about dog behavior and body language. I am also pet CPR and first aid certified with America Health Training. I am an owner of a 2 year old rescue dog myself. I am used to all different types of personalities and temperaments and ready to take on whatever it is your dog may need! I am working part time at a doggy daycare facility. I am normally available in the early morning until 12pm and from 8:30pm to late night. Tuesdays and Fridays I am free the entire day for any bookings so long as I know at least a day in advance! Because of my work obligations as well as obligations to my own pets I am only offering dog walking sessions as well as home check ins for cats and dogs. I am used to any kind of harness or collars for dogs, experienced with using crates and am comfortable taking them out wherever is comfortable with you. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. We have 3 pets at home- so it is our priority to treat every animal as if it’s our own! Every pet is unique, and I am more than happy to go above and beyond to provide the care your pets deserve! There is no such thing as asking for “too much”, I will provide as many updates as you need throughout the day, respond to your messages right away, and facetime/video chat if you’d like live updates. Steven and I have differing schedules so we can alternate who can help as well. Before we provide any care, we will come to your home and plan an initial meet and greet with you, any family members, and your pet(s) of course so we can make sure everyone is comfortable! We will communicate with you often while caring for your pet(s) and acknowledge any special requests you have for us as well! About: I provide thoughtful, full-time, in-home care where your dog is treated like part of the family, not just supervised. I’m home full-time, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, flexible routines, and individualized care based on your dog’s personality and needs. I work especially well with dogs who benefit from a thoughtful approach— whether that’s high-energy pups who need engagement, shy dogs who need time to warm up, or seniors who need a slower, more gentle pace. My focus is always on helping each dog feel safe, settled, and understood while they’re away from home. My space is designed with safety and comfort in mind. I have a large fully fenced yard and take introductions slowly and intentionally with my dog, Winny, who is a playful, happy companion and often helps visiting dogs feel more relaxed and at ease. I create an environment where each dog can settle in at their own pace. I keep my bookings limited so each dog receives the attention and care they deserve— this is not a high-volume setup. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for. I also offer flexible scheduling and optional pickup/drop-off within a reasonable distance to make travel days as smooth and stress-free as possible. I’m home all day and can be very flexible with schedules, feeding times, walks, and routines. This allows me to give each pet plenty of attention, enrichment, and reassurance throughout the day so they always feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away Your peace of mind and your pet’s safety and emotional wellbeing always come first. For this reason I send daily updates with photos/video so you can be at ease knowing your baby is being well taken care of. When caring for pets in my space, I have a fully fenced yard and a built in playmate. I do very slow, supervised introductions with my own dog, Winny, who is a very playful, happy girl. If either dog prefers space, I can easily accommodate comfortably separating the pups as needed both indoor and outdoors.
About: I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover with years of experience as pet sitter and dog walker. I prioritize putting pets and their people at ease with reliable, conscientious care. I love taking photos of your pet and will send you pictures and updates as often as you need, and please feel free to get in touch any time your beloved dog is with me as I know it’s difficult to leave them behind! I am home full time so I can dedicate the entire day to care and love your pet. I only watch one dog at a time. I love walking dogs and there is a dog friendly (leashed only) park near by if your pet enjoys lots of exercise. You can trust me to keep your pets safe, engaged and happy in my home. Your pet will have free range in my house which is dog friendly. I can provide a dog bed, blankets and towels etc. I have a fully fenced backyard that provides a safe and spacious environment for outdoor play. If your pet requires medication I am happy to give as necessary.
About: I have always grown up with dogs in my home. Currently, my family has one high energy black lab. In September of 2024, I also adopted my first own dog, Millie! I have watched, played with, fed, and walked dogs for many years including family and friends. I am currently in my final year of veterinary school. I also have worked as a veterinary assistant so have first aid and medical skills. I’m in my clinical year of vet school so my schedule varies by which rotation I’m on! Early morning and evening would probably be best for me most of the time. I try to update my availability calendar as often as I can! My home is very safe. There are plenty of paths and green spaces for walking. Your animal would have to get up one flight of steps.
About: hello, my name is Jackie, I live in Syosset and have a 2.5 year old male goldendoodle named champ who gets along with other dogs every well. I also have an 8 year old son who loves dogs as well. we would love to watch your dog while you vacation or if they need a walk etc. my husband and I work from home and are in the office 2x/week but weekends are pretty open. let me know your needs and Ill let you know what works work from home in office 2x/week and are flexible for boarding over the weekend. if needed can do walks during the week for your dog i have a fenced in yard so the dogs can run together and we take champ for walks as well so they would have fun together

He let me know that he had another booking that would overlap mine, which turned out OK but would have been an issue if the dogs didn’t get along. His apartment is small and it would have been difficult to keep the dogs separated. Also I would have appreciated more photos, especially on the first day with the other dog. He responded promptly with pictures when prompted. Overall, I would recommend him.”
