When Santiago met Nicholas he was immediately able to make a connection with him and I felt confident that he would be a good walker for Santiago. Santiago can be stubborn and Nicholas was patient and flexible with Santiago’s needs. Santiago can’t go up and down the stairs and Nicholas was really understanding and carried him up and down the stairs for his walks. Nicholas kept me up to date on Santiago’s walks and sent pictures which I really appreciated. About: My dog Winnie is 17, so I’ve had lots of experience as a pet carer! Even though Winnie is a small dog, I have experience pet sitting and walking large dogs. I also love cats and have welcomed them into my home to cat sit over the last several years. My Fiancé also works full time but he gets out a little earlier than I do. For weekend stays we are available to give your furry family the most attention and care. If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I always aim to make them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.
