About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed being around all kinds of pets- from cats and dogs to farm animals. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve dreamed of having the opportunity to spend more time with them. My husband and I moved to Wilmington about 10 years ago, and for much of that time, life kept us so busy that having a pet of our own didn’t feel fair. Since I haven’t had pets of my own during this time, I’ve happily gotten my animal fix by pet sitting for friends and caring for their cats and dogs whenever they’ve needed someone they trust. I work away from home (Registered Nurse since 2016) just one day a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and love they deserve. I have a fenced in yard, a nice neighborhood for walks and no other pets to care for. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover whose always had dogs and cats throughout my childhood and adulthood. I also have professional experience working at a doggy daycare, where I cared for 70+ dogs each day. That experience taught me how to handle dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs while making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. At home, we have a good sized fully fenced-in yard where your dog can run, play, and get plenty of outdoor time. I also love staying active myself, so going for walks with the dogs is one of my favorite parts of pet care. Whether your pet needs some extra playtime, a good long walk, or simply some love and companionship while you’re away, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I recently moved to North Carolina from Massachusetts with my fur babies and husband for my husband’s career and to continue his college career at UNCW. Currently, I am not working and pet care is my only focus. I give all my animals/the animals that I care for lots of love and attention. Additionally, I give them lots of play time and exercise.

“Stella took great care of my girls (a Boston terrier and a “Velcro” Dalmatian) for a week. It was a last minute booking and she communicated so promptly and professionally. She even offered a meet and greet which made me feel even more comfortable leaving our fur babies with her. Stella had a great yard for them to play in, and updated us with pictures and videos nearly everyday! I have two dogs myself a 3-year-old Aussiedoodle named Maxine and a 1-year-old Goldendoodle named Meeko so I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I'm comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, medication reminders, and, of course, giving plenty of affection. About: I love pets! I have dog sat for 7 years and cared for multiple house pets growing up. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and I’m able to provide most services. Now that I have more time in my schedule, I’m excited to dedicate myself to caring for other people’s pets — whether that’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight companionship. I’m active and love being outdoors, so dog walking is something I truly enjoy. Whether your pup needs a brisk walk, playtime, or just some calm company, I tailor my care to match their personality and energy level. My schedule allows me to do drop-ins every day or evening. I’m also available for sitting your pet at myhome for the day or over night. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly pup that can keep your pup company.
