About: Hello! I've had a variety of pets over my 43 years of life: dogs, cats, hamsters, horses, chickens, goats, rats, a bearded dragon, fish, hermit crabs, snakes, a chinchilla, eta. and absolutely love all animals. I've had experience in taking care of pets in all stages of life and don't mind if they may need a little extra TLC and medical assistance. I also have 2 kids (18 & 19) that both work at the Kansas Humane Society at home and they are also experts in animal care. I currently work from home and have the availability to keep a close eye on your pet baby while giving them a safe, caring and loving environment. We have a big, privacy fenced-in backyard if your pet requires outdoor exercise time. If your pet is a bit stand-offish and prefers a quite space we also have spare bedrooms in the house that they can have all to themselves. Want me to come to you? That's great too! I've been trusted by many families to take care of their babies and don't mind spending a little extra time keeping them company while their owners are away. I hope you like pictures and updates because I will send plenty, unless requested otherwise. We are open to caring for all pets and creatures! We have 4 kids at home so they are sure to get all the love and affection they deserve, if they are into that. If your cat likes their wet cat food lightly fluffed with a fork, no problem! If your parrot likes to be groomed by a human tongue.....uh....that's probably where I draw the line. 😁

About: I LOVE ANIMALS! I've had pets inside and out since a very young age. I care deeply for them as if they were my own. I know when i go out of town and can't take my fur babies i don't want to board them, i would rather them be in a home setting, soaking up love and cuddles instead of being pinned up. So that's what im here for, to give you peace of mind that your fur baby is in good hands while you are away and to also have your furbabies feel at ease and comfortable while you are away by giving them lots of attention and lovins. I will suggest a meet and greet is best if possible before the actual booking date, so your furbabies can meet me and you get to meet me as well. Don't worry cat owners, i love them all the same as well. I had one for 20 years in my home. Not to mention i was like the cat whisperer growing up with the cats outside. All they need is love and affection. Currently this is my full time job, so as long as i have the availability i am available to help in any way i can. I am here to accommodate you the best way i can, putting your mind as ease while away. I will take your furbaby out for potty breaks or walks or in a back yard to play. I will play with them inside and give them lots of attention and lovins that they need. I will make sure they have fresh water and food to your specifications.

“Amber and her husband were very kind people. They were extremely affordable and easy to work with. There are a few things to know going into your stay - they have dogs, they host a lot of dogs... AKA there are a lot of dogs at their place at any given time in a relatively small space. I don’t think (although I don’t know for sure) my dog was allowed to run in the backyard so something to know if that’s a big pro for you. He was simply taken on walks and not sure how long those were. I also wish I would have heard more from Amber. I had to reach out first every time to see how things were going or get a picture. We also did have some issues with pickup and communication, but again... overall, for the price it was a great few days stay. Izzy came back happy and seems great! Big thanks to her and her family!”
