I work remotely from home with semi-flexible hours, so I’m around most of the day to give pets attention and care. It’s rare that I need to leave for in-person meetings, which means your pets will have consistent companionship and supervision.

Animal enrichment/play time/etc. is definitely my favorite part of being a pet owner and pet sitter. It can get pet specific though. Some dogs & cats love toys, some dogs prefer walks, some would rather cuddle. Providing me this information is really important so I know how to make your fur babies comfortable. My pets sleep with me so if yours are used to that (and/or are allowed to), they are more than welcome to sleep with me! My main objective is to help them feel comfortable and happy with me. I have my settings listed that I will keep pups from multiple families but work my best to minimize any overlap, keep each families pets safe, as well as give them individual spaces (we have a two story house so we separate the upstairs and downstairs with a gate). Please let me know in advance if you’d like only your dog watched so that I can double check my schedule prior to booking, to accommodate it. :) If your pet has any separation anxiety or anxiety around strangers, please communicate that with me prior so that we can work out a plan on how to care best for your pet. I will take unneutered and unspayed dogs if they are under the age of 2.

Please let me know everything that can help me best care for your baby! If your pet has anxiety or cannot be left alone (or needs to be kenneled before leaving), please let me know before we confirm your booking. If your return travel is delayed, you’re required to request a modification on your booking and we will do our best to accommodate. Pick ups after 9 p.m. will need to take place the following morning.

I love animal enrichment of all types! We have 6 pets (2 guinea pigs, 1 lizard, and 2 cats) and keeping them all healthy, stimulated, and happy has become one of my favorite parts of being a pet owner. I’m definitely known for going above and beyond for my pets and of others.

Pet care experience
I’m on the board for an animal rescue in Oklahoma called Happy Tails. The rescue is tailored toward double merles (partially blind / blind and/or deaf dogs), providing me the opportunity to care for dogs with special needs. My overall experience with animals has taught me so much. I’m confident in my ability to give pets, from those with unique needs to those without, the attentive and loving care they deserve to stay safe and happy. I also have experience with reptiles, birds, hamsters and Guinea pigs!

Our dog has high anxiety and is used to me working from home so I was so excited to find lily, who also works from home and could spend most of the time with our pup. I'm so glad we booked with her, she was absolutely wonderful! She sent pictures and kept us updated and obviously our dog loved her because she didn't even seem THAT excited to see us. 😆 I will definitely be booking with her in the future!
