About: I grew up with dogs and have owned dogs most of my life (variety of breeds). I currently have a mini-Pomeranian and a Golden Retriever, who love making new friends! I've helped family and friends with pets over the years, and I also volunteered at a mill-dog rescue when I lived in Colorado - giving meds, cleaning, and socializing. I will make sure your fur-baby receives the best care!! I work full-time M-F (normal day-time hours) but can work from home whenever I want. I live close to work and, therefore, can drive home for check-ins/walks if I do need to be at my office. I have a lot of availability and flexibility on weekends. I have a small, fenced yard in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It's extra secure because my small dog would, otherwise, be able to sneak out of it. It's also partially shaded, but they would not need to be outside unless they preferred to be!

I believe that proper pet care involves not only meeting their physical needs, but also providing mental and emotional stimulation to ensure their overall well-being. When dog sitting, I prioritize pet care safety at all times. This includes providing the dog/cat with fresh water and food, ensuring that they have proper identification, and never leaving them unsupervised. I am also aware of any potential hazards in the home or outside, such as cleaning chemicals or plants that may be toxic to dogs. If the dog/cat is not familiar with the environment, I do my very best to carefully introduce them to the new surroundings and make sure they are comfortable. Additionally, I follow any specific instructions or guidelines provided by the dog/cats owner, such as administering medication or following a specific feeding schedule. Overall, I am attentive and proactive in regards to pet care safety, to ensure a happy and healthy experience for both the dog/cat and you!
