About: I've grown up in a household that always had more than 5 pets at a time. Be it dogs or cats I've been around the bend and am well-trained with each one I meet. I'm a fast-learner and love caring for pets with unique personalities. I can also handle high-stress pets. I currently live with two cats and one guniea pig. Our youngest cat is high-stress and requires a lot of tending to when it comes to visitors. The other cat is very shy. With each of these cats I have a lot of patience. Throughout the day and beginning of my nights I'm familiar with giving the animals in my house lots of affection. I have also lived with and cared for dogs for over a decade. Plus, I am no stranger to giving pets medicine or additional care. I've lived with cats and dogs, young and old, along with a couple reptiles and many guniea pigs. I'm familiar with many practices relating to a pet's safety and trust. I like to ensure that the animal is comfortable and understood. I use patience when caring for high-stress animals and I know when to be extra gentle. I'm a fast-learner and adapt easily to various pets' feeding and exercise requirements. I like to keep my environment open and clean for the animal to enjoy to the fullest.

About: I’ve had dogs in the house since I was born, and began helping with large and small dogs since I was 8, and have had dogs that are my individual responsibility for over 6 years now I am able to fit my schedule around your pet, so it’s not a problem if you’ve got a pooch that needs some extra attention! As the care would be in your house, your pet won’t have to be stressed out by an unfamiliar environment and other pets, I am happy to speak to you to learn about, and meet, your pet beforehand, and I can stick to whatever schedule you already have put in place for your pet

About: I have had dogs for the majority of my life, both yellow labs. I especially love big dogs! I am skilled at reading dogs’ body language and matching their energy. I have experience giving medication to dogs and caring for puppies. I am a full time student at the University of Iowa. I do work part-time and am involved in several activities, but my schedule is often flexible. I am usually very free on weekends, and during the week varies on my schedule. I deeply value the safety and happiness of all animals. I always make sure to use leashes properly, confirm security of fences, keep dangerous materials out of their reach, encourage proper behavior, and of course provide so much love and attention.

I’ve shared my life with dogs and cats through every stage—from zooming-around-the-house puppies to sweet seniors who just want a comfy nap buddy. But my care goes far beyond food bowls and leashes! Whether they’re shy, spunky, cuddly, or curious, I tune into their emotional needs—offering play, snuggles, and calm companionship that makes them feel right at home. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me for years because I treat every pet like family—because to me, they are! And the love doesn’t stop at cats and dogs! I’ve also grown up around horses, cows, and reptiles, giving me a well-rounded understanding of animals big, small, and scaly! No matter who I’m caring for, I bring kindness, patience, and a whole lot of heart to every visit! (También hablo español :) I work part-time with mostly short morning shifts—so pet care fits perfectly into my day! I have plenty of time in the afternoons, evenings, and even weekends to give your four-legged-ball-of-joy the attention they deserve. Whether it’s a midday walk, dinner and snuggles, or a weekend playdate, I’ve got the time (and the love!) to spare. Caring for animals brings me so much joy—it never feels like “extra” work, just the best part of my day! 🐾💛 I choose to care for pets in their own home, because my #1 goal is to make everything feel just right—for both you and your fluffy buddy! I follow your instructions closely to keep routines familiar and stress-free. I always double-check doors, gates, and anything safety-related to make sure your pet stays secure and happy while you’re away. You can count on regular updates (and cute photos, of course!) so you know your pet is in loving hands. Familiar smells, their own bed, and a loving sitter? That’s a recipe for tail wags and purrs all around!

About: Hi! My name is Madison, and I’m an experienced and dependable pet lover with a lifelong passion for caring for animals. I currently have one cat of my own, but I grew up with both big and small dogs, as well as indoor and outdoor cats—so I’m very comfortable around pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. While I now work as a server and bartender, I’ve always made time for animals. During college, I volunteered regularly at the local animal shelter, where I walked a wide variety of dogs. That experience taught me a lot about leash and harness handling, and gave me the skills to confidently care for dogs with different energy levels and personalities. Whether you’re looking for someone to walk your pup, check in on your cat, or just give your pets some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help. I treat every animal like my own and take pride in providing safe, attentive, and reliable care. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family! Currently I work part time, which does give me more time to help out with your babies! My only “guaranteed” times off are Tuesday afternoons and Sundays, which is when I could be available for recurring bookings. Otherwise, I get my schedule for the next week on Friday afternoons, which means I can book one-times about a week out. Every pet in my care is treated like family - with kindness, attention, and genuine love. Whether I’m on a walk or watching them at home, I follow their routines closely and make sure they feel safe, happy, and understood. I’m big on cuddles, playtime, and keeping their environment clean and calm. I pay attention to each pet’s personality and needs, always making sure they’re comfortable and cared for like they’re my own.

About: Hi, I'm Des and I’m so excited to meet you and your furry (or scaley/feathery) family members! I’ve had the opportunity to work as a zookeeper at an AZA accredited zoo, where I trained a variety of animals using positive reinforcement techniques. This gave me a lot of insight into animal behavior, and the skills to handle pets of all kinds. I’m comfortable working with just about any animal you can think of. I’ve also worked as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital where I assisted with medical procedures and cared for recovering animals. This role provided me with quick thinking skills in emergency situations and further developed my passion for the well-being of all animals. I am certified in canine/feline CPR and First Aid. Over the years I’ve adopted guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and rats of my own. I've worked as a professional dog walker and sitter previously. I enjoy hiking and camping with my two dogs, concerts, traveling, and reading. I recently went back to school to study biology and hope to continue my career working with animals. Your pets will receive all the love, attention, and care they deserve from me while you’re away! I'm a full time online student and work part time. I have a pretty flexible schedule currently and want to fill it with lots of animal time. I love walking pups and have experience with reactive dogs. Building confidence through positive reinforcement to provide a better experience to the dogs in my care brings me a lot of joy.

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs of all sizes for over 15 years! We love our animals and want other families to be able to travel and enjoy life knowing their fur babies are well taken care while they are away! I have my own interior painting business and it allows me to have the flexibility of making my own schedule throughout the week. We love to include our pets in every day activities and enjoy the outdoors when/if it's nice outside! We have two animals of our own that are all friendly. One female dog and one female indoor cat. All of our animals are spayed and up to date on all of their vaccinations. We also have two young children (6 year old daughter & 4 year old son) who LOVE animals!

“Robert is very nice and great with our dog Junior. He was easy to communicate with, timely, and even dried off our wet pup with his own sweatshirt! Would recommend without a doubt.”

About: I have two mini goldendoodles who are my life. I've had them for over 6 years and they bring so much joy to my life! They love to play with other dogs and I'm always spoiling them. I've watched other pups before, giving them walks, spoiling them rotten. I'm very punctual and care for every dog like they're my own! Currently don’t have a full time job so I have availability all day! If you need a full sitter, they are more than happy to come to my house and spend time with my pups. I'm free after 5PM and on the weekends! I don't have a fenced in backyard but I do have two pups who can keep your baby entertained and wear them out! I give the best cuddles and love as it kills me to leave my pups with someone else so I get it! I can facetime whenever you'd like if it's an overnight stay, whatever makes you feel comfortable! :)

“Outstanding Pet Care! I highly recommend Kelsey as a pet sitter! She clearly loves animals and took amazing care of our kitten while we were away. Kelsey kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which was such a comfort and made it easy to relax knowing our girl was in great hands. I also appreciated that she brought her little ones (with my permission), who are just as gentle and loving with animals. Our kitten got so much attention and affection! Kelsey’s background working in a shelter and her medical experience with pets gave me extra peace of mind—she’s not just kind, she’s also capable and attentive. We will absolutely use her again!”

Skylynn P.
“seriously can’t say enough good things about Skylynn! She watched my senior Boxer, Ruger, while I was out of town, and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so at ease leaving him with someone. She stayed overnight in my home, which made a huge difference for Ruger since he’s older and really just does best in his own space and routine. From the moment she met him, she was so gentle and kind with him—it was clear she’s a true dog lover. She kept in constant contact with me the whole time—sending updates, sweet photos (some hilarious ones too), and just letting me know how he was doing day-to-day. It made me feel like I was still part of his life even while I was away. She followed all his dietary needs perfectly. When in the past Ruger noticeably lost weight when I would board him. What a relief this was! When I got home, Ruger was totally calm and content. No anxiety, no stress. He clearly felt safe and loved the entire time. That meant everything to me. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own and give you peace of mind while you’re away, Skylynn is it. Ruger and I are both hoping she’ll come back the next time I’m gone! — Rachel”

Sammy S.
“Sammy’s pet family started when someone dumped their dog off by their home. Most likely, knowing she was an animal lover with a ‘heart of gold’ & couldnt resist opening up her heart & home and caring. For him. Sammy’s family currently has 2 dogs & 1 cat. I have seen her in action as she provides them and other family’s pets utmost love & special attention; as she realizes they are ‘family’. Feel rest assured; Sammy will give you family pet(s) an abundance of warm love & caring attention while you are away. In fact, they will ask (bark, meow, etc) for her to come back for visits! 🤗”

Demi loves Shelby, and I trust Shelby 100% to take care of her when I am out of town. Always my first choice for a dog sitter!”
