“I appreciate Abigail accepting my booking and consistently communicating with me regarding my boy Archie. She sent me updates and pictures and actually spending time with him. She accommodated a last minute schedule change and was very kind in that exchange as well. I already expressed that I would love to use her again whenever we need another sitter.”

“Elizabeth and Phillip have watched Sadie twice now. We can tell how much she likes going there when we drop her off and how much she sleeps when she comes home! Highly recommend”

“We love leaving our Maggie with Heather. It’s like a vacation for her while we’re on vacation. She gets to run and play in Heather’s backyard. She’s so happily and tired when we pick her up. We couldn’t be more pleased! 😊”

“Grace was extremely professionally and came with the experience/background to give us peace of mind leaving our pupper to stay with her. She would respond promptly to any messages and would send photos/videos. She also has several other dogs and cats which worked to help better socialize our dog as well. All of these factors make it easy to recommend her to anyone, and we’ll definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Maria is an amazing sitter and I will be referring all my friends to her. She always makes gays very happy! He is always in a great mood when I drop him off and happy when I pick him up. And when I am away she updates me daily.”

“Beth was amazing with my dog!!! She sent plenty of updates with photos so I knew my dog was happy and healthy. I really appreciate the time she took to ask questions about my dog’s preferences and behavior prior to agreeing to watch her! Beth is amazing and very kind”

“I can’t recommend Crystal enough! When my regular sitter was unexpectedly unavailable, I was nervous about leaving my fur baby with someone new, especially since I was traveling internationally for 10 days. Crystal immediately put my mind at ease. She offered a meet and greet with her and her dog, beforehand, and she was very flexible with drop/pick up times. Overall she was an amazing sitter who really went above and beyond. She treated Bailey like her own and cared for him with love. It was clear from the pics and updates she sent that my baby was happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. Also, my dog got along great with her dog and the other visiting dog. They created a little “dog pack”, the pics were sooooo cute! . If you’re looking for a sitter that you can trust wholeheartedly with your fur baby, Crystal is the one!!”

“My dog had a blast with Aspen and her family. She sent me a ton of pics and updates. It’s so relieving to not have to think about him at all while I’m out of town.”

“Missy took amazing care of my lab while I was on vacation. She was incredible with communicating and sending pictures of my dog while I was away. Would highly recommend!”

“Ryo was fantastic with our Beagle, Maple. He was incredibly patient and kind and made our dog feel right at home. We would love to work with him again in the future!”

“My maltese, Lily, stayed with Julie and her son. They were wonderful in every way! She sent me daily texts and cared for her like she would her own. Excellent experience! Highly recommend!!!!”

“Was able to book last minute. Erin was very professional and communication was always fast. George was very knowledgeable in dog behavior and made accommodations for my dog's need. I was very satisfied with their service, professionalism and interactions throughout Bella's stay.”

“Ziggy seemed to have a great time with Jeremy & Laura! It was only a short stay, but Ziggy seemed happy in the pictures I received from them. I’ll look to use them again in the future to dogsit!”

About: Hi! My name is Emm! I am a queer and queer-friendly person and active in my community. I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I raised puppies, walked massive dobermans, and at one point took care of 13 dogs at once! Feeding, watering, cleaning up after, walking, and loving your pet like you would are my top priorities. I lived with my father after becoming an adult and took care of his cat. Animals of all kinds are fine by me! I'm available at any time! When I am not working, I spend my time with my partner, listen to music, and practice my culinary skills. If I stay at your home, I will respect your pets and your things like you're my family. Your pets will be pampered and well cared for. I'll take great care of them, and give them plenty of love and attention.
“Kirsten was amazing taking care of our two little guys during 17 days. They got along great with her dog and seemed to have lots of fun playing with him in their backyard. We received daily photo updates and prompt responses when we had any questions during their stay.”

“Daphne was wonderful! She took Lola as a last minute booking and we couldn't be happier! We received daily picture updates. Lola was treated like a little princess with lots of love! 🩷 Highly recommend Daphne!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Corydon
Abi was amazing with Tater! Everything went perfect from the pre-visit, drop off, stay and pick up. Abi sent updates and pictures every day and throughout the day. We never had to reach out and ask how Tater was doing. We had to ask to extend Taters stay due to our flight being cancelled and rebooked. Abi was super flexible and allowed us to extend our stay. Tater was happy and relaxed when we picked her up from Abi. This was such a great experience! We will definitely be rebooking with Abi the next time we need a sitter for Tater.

We left our puppy with Abigail while we got married this weekend and she was amazing!! Our Austa girl is a cuddler and we were so worried she wouldn’t get the lovins we know she wants everyday and Abigail made sure to send us pictures of her getting all the love!! She will definitely be our puppy sitter every time!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
