“Ebony was wonderful!! She was very accommodating with our last minute plans and drop off times. She kept me updated and sent pictures/video every day and my babies had the best time with her. 10/10 recommend!! 💕🐾🐾”

“Ryo was fantastic with our Beagle, Maple. He was incredibly patient and kind and made our dog feel right at home. We would love to work with him again in the future!”

“Heather is amazing! We went on a two week vacation and knowing our little bubby was having a great time and being well taken care of made it so much easier and removed the guilt of not being able to take him with us. Thanks so much Heather!”
“Thank you for boarding Stormy. You were nice and made sure he was comfortable in the beginning with the kennel and other dogs before I left. We communicated daily and responses were a bit dry and pictures that were promised were never sent unless I had texted again the next day. Customer service/communication could have been a bit better. Im sure stormy had a nice time playing with the other dogs besides one issue that was brought up to me.”

“Stephen & Angela are so wonderful with my dog, Zeke. I do doggy daycare twice a week, and just recently did over a week of dog boarding for my dog while I was on vacation. They are always super responsive, friendly, and my dog looks forward to going to their home. I was very anxious leaving my dog for vacation, but I knew Zeke would be in great care and have a fun vacation of his own. I appreciated the daily photos sent to me, and the thoughtful treat bag when I picked up my boy. They even included human treats!”

“Sharon is absolutely amazing! My boy is a very anxious boy and has severe separation anxiety. Sharon had him so comfortable and settled almost immediately. I am so grateful to her for the care and love she gave Salem while I was out of the country for two weeks. Sharon provided me multiple daily updates complete with adorable videos of Salem. Her dog, Wes, was the perfect buddy for Salem too! Her fenced-in yard is fantastic for doggies to sniff and play in. I was so nervous to leave my boy for so long, but having Sharon as his sitter truly made all my worries disappear. She was also incredibly flexible and understanding when I had a flight delay. I cannot recommend Sharon (and Wesley!) enough!!”
“I was extremely nervous at first because my dog hadn’t had training or been to a sitters. Penny came home happy and tired. I’m very pleased to say Melody will have a repeat customer(if wanted lol). I felt very comfortable leaving my dog there.”

“Rachel had watched one or more of my dogs 4 times now. Most recently, my bratty 2 year old Rottweiler. Rachel and partner were great from the beginning! No fear of my dog, didn’t rush her, even informed me some things that I didn’t know. Rachel always sends pictures throughout. My baby had such a good time and was worn out at pick-up.”

“Jared and Waverly were amazing with my pup! Jared met us outside and made the drop off and pick up a breeze! They sent me so many picture of my dog with cute captions and having fun with other dogs! I felt like he was in great hands and did not worry while I was away! Highly recommend :)”

“Great people, would leave my little buddy with them again! Sent pictures and got updates, everything you want out of dog sitters! Thanks again!!!”

“Crystal was very trustworthy. She let me know how my dog Hollow was interacting on a daily basis. I felt that Hollow was in a very safe environment and I will use Crystal in the future and I’m sure Hollow would agree if he could talk. Thanks for allowing us to feel assured while we were on our vacation”

“I had such a great experience with this dog sitter! From the moment we met, it was clear how sweet, kind, and genuinely caring they are—not just toward people, but especially toward animals. My dog felt comfortable right away, which gave me so much peace of mind. They were attentive, responsible, and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. It’s obvious they truly love what they do, and it shows in the way they treat the dogs in their care. I could tell my dog was happy, well cared for, and even a little spoiled with attention! I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their pet.”

“Beth was so nice and absolutely wonderful! I love that she likes to meet the dogs ahead of time to make sure they are a right fit for her and her adorable sweet dog. She sent lots of pictures and updates and will definitely book again with her!”

“Sarah, Daniel, and the kids are absolutely wonderful! They treated Bodey like family. Sarah was so kind to send me updates several times a day. They played and loved on him. He was well taken care of and it shows. Truly a loving family who will give your pet a second home! We will use them again every time! Thank you all again!!!”

About: I'm Sean, a lifelong dog owner offering Boarding and Doggy Day Care. I work from home full time in Oldham County, steps away from great dog walks along the Ohio River. Your dog gets supervised attention all day, long outdoor walks, in a friendly and fun environment for dogs of any age, breed or size. I lost my dog of 14 years in early 2026 and I'm channeling that love into caring for yours. Taking good care of your pet allows me to do something I truly enjoy while giving you peace of mind while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! I am available full-time and every dog is unique, so you can expect that I will tailor each day to your pet's age, energy level, personality, exercise requirements, feeding schedule, and any special instructions you provide. Mornings will include an early morning potty break and outdoor time, breakfast according to your dog's normal feeding schedule, a walk, play session, or quiet outdoor exploration depending on your dog's preferences. There will be plenty of attention and companionship as the day begins. Throughout the day there will be multiple supervised outdoor breaks in the spacious yard and surrounding dog friendly areas. This will include long walks, short walks, play sessions, or relaxation time based on your dog's needs. Fresh water will be available at all times. There will be frequent interaction, supervision, and companionship since I work from home and there will also be comfortable indoor rest periods between activities. Afternoons and evenings will include additional outdoor exercise and activities, dinner according to your dog's established routine, relaxation time indoors with plenty of attention and affection, evening potty breaks and if necessary a walk before bedtime. Individualized care is important for your dog's well being, so before your dog's stay, I will learn about feeding schedules and dietary restrictions, medication requirements, favorite activities and exercise preferences, commands and training cues your dog responds to, sleeping habits and comfort needs and any special routines that will help your dog feel at home. My goal is to maintain as much of your dog's normal routine as possible. During your pets stay your dog will enjoy exercise, companionship, and personalized care. Long walks and adventure or a relaxed day of lounging and affection await so your pet will feel right at home. For safety, dogs are always walked on leash. I am always happy to arrange a meet and greet, either in person or by video call, so you can feel completely comfortable before booking.

“We had a great experience with Carla. She was wonderful with our dog Chester. She texted us pictures and comments while we were gone, and he obviously had a good time on his "vacation" too. Booking was quick and easy; the meet-and-greet was scheduled with no hassles. We will definitely be using Carla again!”

“Marissa’s service was everything we hoped for. She kept us updated via messages and pictures to show us all the fun our pups were having at her place. Her communication throughout the whole process was amazing. Highly recommend her for dog sitting or daycare!”

Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
