About: I grew up with multiple pets, we often called it the "Cook Family Zoo". I've helped take care of many cats, dogs, turtles, fish and even ferrets at one point! I currently have two dogs a terrier/cattle dog mix and a German shepherd/lab mix puppy! They both are rescues and love to cuddle. I volunteer with a local dog rescue and am a proud foster fail. :) I’m passionate about protecting all furry friends and finding the perfect home for each loving animal. I love all animals, big or small, and do my best to be flexible and communicate with you quickly and thoroughly. I hope you will consider me to help take care of your loved ones and I will be sure to give them lots of love while you're away. Currently working full time but have availability on weekends and most evenings to help out! I also have flexibility at work so depending on your needs can make drop in visits and walks during the day. I work from home occasionally too so I can usually be flexible as needed. If visiting your home I would respect your wishes around routine training, diet and behavior. I typically provide photos and/or text updates of your pet so you know they’re doing well and we’ll looked after even when you’re not able to be there!

About: I've grown up around animals my whole life and not only do I take care of animals of my own I've taken care of friends' animals as well. I have experience working with animals of all ages and sizes as I currently have 9 year old Great Danes who I've helped raise since they were puppies. I have cared for rabbits, hamsters, and even frogs. With my dogs I have experience managing medications and special diets. I wake up every day with my Great Danes and hamster so daily pet care is just a part of what I do. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to take care of pets any day of the week. I also had K9 dogs in the house so I am experience in reactive dogs and know how to handle them. My dad trains dogs for police work and I help him with taking care of the dogs and training. I am recently retired and enjoy the unconditional love dogs provide, and enjoy equally giving it in return. I have experience adjusting dogs to new surroundings and making them part of my family. As a Retired Director of Admissions at a nursing facility, care and concern for your loved one is my top priority. About: I've owned a dog and a cat over the years. I mostly dog sit for my younger sister when she has to attend a 3-day out-of-town conference. I also help my eldest niece with her 2 cats. I work Fri-Sun for my daytime position. I had been looking for a part-time job during the weekdays and came across Rover. I COMPLETELY forgot about this app, I used it when I was in college. This would be the best job option for me because I've missed having a companion of my own. My nieces 2 cats are very playful and forthcoming so its easy to lose time playing with them. We're looking to get an exercise wheel for Pumbaa, he's gettn heavy in the midsection lol. I help trim nails, change drinking water fountain filter and give meds as needed.

You can expect prompt and thoughtful communication from our initial chat to the final drop-off. Every pet receives a customized care plan based on your specific instructions, including their dietary needs, exercise routines, and any special requirements. I’m working PRN so I’m available usually Monday to Friday at any time. I can also do weekends if notified that you need pet care a day beforehand. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I live at a condo with a good security system and 5 minutes away from Joe Creason Park.

About: I've had cats since before I was in elementary school. I cat sit for all of my neighbors whenever they go out of town. I currently have one cat who is 4 years old. I am currently transitioning in between jobs so I have much more free time than usual. I have the time and patience to take care of your animals with short notice I can do whatever is needed to help with your daily needs for your animals. I can walk them/crate them, feed, play, take to park, and even send pictures. Happy to help!
