About: I have 5 dogs and a cat of my own. My friends and family have trusted me for years to take care of their fur babies while on vacations/nights away for years. I work from home, so I’m available to give my attention to fur babies all throughout the day. Your animals would be free to play all day. Your pets would be with me all day whether it’s taking a nap in my office or running around in the back yard with new friends. We have a large fenced in yard for all to play and never leave them unsupervised.

We had our three dogs spend a day with Kathrine while we were visiting the North Georgia Wildlife & Safari Park during a week long stay at Unicoi State Park. They say they each give Ms. K four paws up for a fantastic visit for a total of 12 paws up. We unfortunately got a flat tire just before reaching her house, so we had to do a tire repair there and we got to see how quickly our pups calmed down around her as a new person and being in a new location. We definitely would not hesitate to use her again.

Chayna was a lifesaver! I had my normal pet sitter cancel due to sickness (totally understandable) and Chayna was able to watch Argo with short notice - same day! He had a great time and received a lot attention and play time. I hope Argo can stay with her again sometime.

Our 1 year old high-energy Golden Retriever, Sally, had a great time playing with Jeff & Giselle’s dog, Fred. She was tired when we picked her up at the end of the day which is a good indication she received lots of mental & physical stimulation. Jeff & Giselle have a beautiful property and seem to genuinely enjoy dogs. It was a pleasure interacting with them and Fred. We received lots of pictures and texts updating us on how Sally’s day was going. We feel confident Sally is safe in their care.

About: I’ve cared for my two Aussies for over 6 years and my cat for more than 9 — we’ve shared countless outdoor adventures and even traveled through parts of Europe together! I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and nothing makes me happier than playing with them, helping them burn off energy, and snuggling up for cozy indoor days. Your pet will be treated like family — loved and cared for as if they were my own! I have 3 years of on/off use with Rover. I am currently at home full time until late June, and then unavailable until August with military training. My days with your pet are very flexible! I’ve recently moved back to my lovely hometown in North Georgia, where I now have 3 acres of fully fenced pasture and backyard space for pets to run, explore, and play safely. It’s the perfect environment for dogs who love being outdoors while still having a cozy home to relax in. No part of my home is off limits—we love snuggling on the couch or in bed. Dogs must be comfortable with cats!

About: As a lifelong dog lover and current online college student, I offer a highly flexible, work-from-home schedule that ensures your pet will have constant supervision, regular bathroom breaks, and company throughout the day. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to your pet's specific stage of life; I am fully equipped to handle the high-energy demands, potty training, and crate routines of young puppies, but I'm equally patient and observant when it comes to the quiet environments and precise medication schedules required by senior dogs. Ultimately, I focus on routine consistency, molding my daily schedule entirely around your dog’s normal habits to keep their anxiety low and make them feel right at home. I work from home and stay around town, so caring for your fur-babies is no trouble at all! If they do well with car rides, I am more than happy to bring them along to run any errands or to the ball fields! I have a large yard, plenty of room inside, two sweet and playful dogs to keep them company, and a 6 year old boy who loves puppy cuddles and all the play time he can get!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs independently since 2018. I grew up in a dog loving household and have hands on experience with daily feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, and maintaining routines. I work part-time and attend school online, which gives me flexibility in my schedule and allows me to plan pet care responsibly. I’m able to commit to consistent routines for walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins. I’m dependable, organized, and make sure pets receive my full attention during the time they’re in my care. I take safety and trust very seriously when caring for pets. I carefully follow all instructions provided by pet parents, including feeding routines, leash use, and home rules. I’m attentive to doors, gates, and surroundings to ensure pets stay safe at all times. I keep environments calm, clean, and comfortable, and I treat every pet and home with respect and care. With my own pup, I maintain a detailed and structured daily routine, and I bring that same level of care, consistency, and attention to every dog I care for.

About: Registered Veterinary Technician who works emergency medicine on the weekends looking for extra work through the week. I can’t stay at your house overnight, but your pet can come to mine. I can also do drop ins pretty regularly. I graduated college with a degree in Veterinary technology and passed my state boards. I work at an emergency clinic in Atlanta on the weekends and right now I’m free through the week. I can try my best to work out whatever you need help with. I’m skilled at giving medications and anything basic your pet may need in home, as well as lifesaving care due to any emergency. I can keep non child friendly cats in a different area, but dogs must be child friendly. I do have cats & ferrets, but they can be kept separately if your animals are not cat & small rodent friendly. I have 2 dogs as well. All of my animals are pet friendly with everything as many animals have come through my care fostering. I'm skilled in exotic pet care as well if necessary. I currently only work weekend overnights in the ER. So, I am home all week caring for my fur babies. As well as yours hopefully! I strive to care for anyone's else's pets exactly as I would my own. When they are with me, they are my babies too. I bring my ER compassion with me when I pet sit, in the ER the pets are without their owners & they are scared on top of being hurt. While my pet sits may not be hurt, I'm aware they could be nervous & unfamiliar. I try to treat them with the upmost compassion & kindness.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Cornelia on Rover is $44.4 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 137 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Cornelia. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Cornelia commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 137 sitters in Cornelia, 90% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
