“We couldn’t be happier with the care of our dog and cat received while we were away. Serenidy went above and beyond, showering them with love and attention. Not only did they feel comfortable and loved, but our home was also in great hands!”

“Jamie was the best! She even went as far as to buy our dogs collars when they needed to be walked on a leash due to landscaping! She is very responsive and keeps you super updated on your pets!! We greatly appreciate her and will definitely use her again!”

“Liz was absolutely wonderful with our newly adopted dog. She was so patient, kind, and clearly experienced in working with dogs who are still adjusting to a new home. She took him on long walks, gave him lots of attention, and treated him like her own. We’re so grateful to have found Liz and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!”

About: I have house sat for many family members, neighbors, and acquaintance’s pets for two years. Before that I walked a few dogs in my neighborhood. This is currently my only form of work. I am almost always free unless there are other bookings lined up. I have form of transportation to get to your pets easily. I take staying in another’s person’s house very seriously. It is your space, and I intend to only stay to keep your fur babies happy, entertained, and taken care of. I respect your rules and clean up, so you felt like no one was even there.
“Nora was fantastic with our Great Dane puppy, Apollo! She was very responsive, kept us up to date every day, and had no issues administering Apollo's pills 2x/day. She also left the house just as we left it and washed the sheets before she left. This was mine and my husband's first weekend away in a long time where we didn't feel stressed leaving our dog with a sitter. We would definitely recommend Nora to anyone looking for a stress free getaway and plan to use her services again!”

“Rocky, Luna and Mocha are loved beyond and my home is exactly as I had left it. My chickens are happy! The communication while we were away was outstanding. I have never had a more relaxed trip away knowing my home and animal family is cared for.”

“My dog sitter had an issue the day before. Mary stepped in last minute and saved the day! She took incredible care of nefe and was so gracious to take such a short notice request. Absolutely recommend and will be booking her again! Thank you so much for everything!”

“Robyn did a superb job caring for our senior dog and senior cat. This was our first experience using Rover and the experience was so easy from start to finish. Our dog had a small medical issue while we were gone and she handled it so well. I do think our cat is having withdrawals from all the attention he got. We will definetly use Robyn again and would highly recommend her!”

“Erin was an amazing dog sitter!! She sent pictures daily, took them for walks and gave lots of snuggles. They had big smiles every picture. Erin is professional, and goes the extra mile. Highly recommend her, and will use her again.”

“Ebony was fantastic with our three dogs! She sent plenty of updates, photos, and videos without me having to ask. She also took great care of the house and made sure all of my outside plants had plenty of water. The dogs were also on their regular schedules when we got home. I highly recommend her and hope that she will stay with our pups again!”

“We re-booked Jenna for a 12-day vacation to care for our elderly two dogs with multiple medical needs. We trust her to care for them, administer their medications, and keep us informed. She sent pictures all along. The dogs enjoy having Jenna as their caregiver! I recommend her as a pet sitter as well to do drop-ins. We have also asked her to check on the dogs, let them out and feed them when we have a function in the evening. She’s a lovely, caring person.”

“Ciera was the kindest soul, very professional, communicative, extremely orderly and punctual and just by how our pups were when we returned home we can tell they were loved and treated well in our absence! Ciera is wonderful for drop-ins or for house sitting! We would trust her with either! We are grateful we found her and would love to hire her again without hesitation! Thank you a million times Ciera!❤️”

“Rachel was fantastic. She arrived on time, showed our pups love and attention while she house sat, and went above and beyond keeping the house up while we was here. I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Had a last minute family emergency and Aubrey was willing to step in on short notice. Took good care of my dog and most importantly communicated well in terms of how my dog was doing and in addition when she wanted to take my dog somewhere asked first. I had no issues with that and my dog had a good time but asking first for things like that is important.”

About: I'm a sahm so I have flexible hours! I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own, including a senior dog. I have tons of experience with puppies, kittens and administration of medication. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is flexible. I do go to the gym everyday so I would need to be able to do that. My son, he's 7would be with me during the week but if it was overnights for the weekend he would not. I do not care for pets in my own home it would need to be your home. I'm happy to house sit and take them on walks.
“Mariah was absolutely wonderful! She loved our pups as if they were her own. Loved the daily picture updates. She took wonderful care them and our home. Highly, highly recommend her!! Will definitely rebook.”

“Did a great job with my animals and house sitting. My animals really seemed to like Kye. Sent pictures and updates daily. Was reliable and communicated well. Would use again 🤗”

“Ally does a great job and spends time playing with Marley while she’s over. She sends pictures and keeps you updated. Marley loves Ally, and we aren’t worried about Marley when Ally is taking care of her!”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Corbin walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Corbin maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Corbin choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
