About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and have extensive experience in caring for my own animals (dogs, cats, and rabbits). I also was trusted to watch neighborhood dogs for day check ins and overnight stays. I have experience in caring for elderly dogs with specific dietary restrictions! I’m currently job hunting which leaves my days and nights almost completely free to be with your animals! I’m free for overnight stays as well as daily check ins. I am unable to have animals stay at my apartment due to its small size and my cats. But I have years of experience caring for animals in their homes, I feel confident in my ability to keep your pets happy and well cared for.

“Megan has such a great way with dogs, and goes the extra mile—cleaning up dog doo, putting on our dog’s coat on chilly days, and walking her regularly, even in blustery weather. She is so flexible and responsive!”
About: I worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility for 2 years where I took care of the dogs there (young and old) and monitered the dog play groups. I also have experience giving medication. I am so excited to meet your furry friends! Rover is my main job right now. I am working toward a pet sitting business/career so I would love to take any requests and meet your special pups (or cats)! I am happy to help with whatever is needed in drop in visits, whether walking, feeding, giving meds, playing fetch, giving attention, or other specific needs.
About: If my husband would let me, I’d buy a zoo (come on powerball). I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve never met a pet that I didn’t want to spoil and cuddle. My daughter calls me a “stay at home pet mom”. Most days I’m home all day, with the exception of an occasional errand, appointment, drop ins for other dogs, or maybe a date night. We have 3 rescue kitties, who are like my tiny babies, very spoiled. Bam- who loves to help walk all the pups, and my girls- Pumpkin, and Elsa- who try to avoid visiting dogs at ALL cost. Basically I’m their “do-girl”. They all know how to talk me into extra treats. We also have Cash- a 1.5 year old, 30lb. Cocker Spaniel- who likes to think he’s a 125lb Husky. He hasn’t met a dog, big or small, he doesn’t like. We have a new pup, a female cocker spaniel, Carter. She’s 8 months now, she has appointed herself Official Play Time Supervisor of any and all dog guest- your pups will go home tired. Occasionally our daughter’s Boston Terrier, Franklin will visit, he hasn’t met a person, dog, or cat, he doesn’t like. He’s truly the best boy. I have had to administer meds in the past and don’t mind doing so. Animal caretaking is my full time job and my family is 1000% okay with that. I’ve never met an animal that I didn’t want to bring home with me. We just moved from Sparta to Ravenna, and we’re now on 3 acres. Your fur baby is invited and encouraged to make our house their home away from home. They will be well spoiled and loved, as my entire family will be doting on them.

About: I’ve had dogs growing up my whole life and love them! I have helped with many puppy litters, even bottle feeding puppies when the mother was unable. I’ve cared for small dogs, medium, and large. I even care for the occasional horse or cat if needed. I am currently a server, so my schedule fluctuates often, but can help when I am available! I tend to be the most open in morning or mid day, but am occasionally open on the weekends too. I give treats, LOTS of pets, brushing, and whatever else is needed! I love spending time with animals and want to give them all the care that they need. Communication is key with me so the more we can talk about what is needed and when I am available is very important

“My dog is pretty anxious when it comes to new people/being around people when I’m not present, but Jasmine is so great with him! She was able to meet him prior to becoming his dog walker and he loved her instantly.”

About: I have had my dog for 14 years and have been raised around dogs. I love interacting and taking care of all animals, especially dogs. I have classes at GVSU, and other than that my schedule is free for homework, working, and spending time on rover to help out the dogs and cats around me. Although I am not currently planning on using my house to care for pets, I do plan to in the future. I would ensure there is a safe and fun environment for the animals.
About: I've been surrounded by dogs my entire life, which has made caring for them second nature to me. I have two dogs of my own, all of whom I've helped trained. They each have unique needs, including daily medication and diet preferences, so I'm very familiar with managing a variety of routines and personalities. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve dog-sat for family, friends, and neighbors over the years. I’m comfortable walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I'm especially patient with dogs who are still in training or adjusting to new environments. I've also volunteered at several local animal shelters, where I spent time walking and working with dogs who required extra care, structure, and patience, many of whom were strong pullers or had behavioral challenges. These experiences have taught me how to stay calm and confident in any situation, and I always prioritize a dog's safety, comfort, and well-being. Whether your dog needs a long walk, extra cuddles, or a specific care routine while you're away, I'll make sure they're cared for as if they were my own. I'm a college student, and I work as a Nurse Technician at a hospital two days a week. Despite my busy schedule, I'm highly flexible and have availability throughout the week and some weekends. Pet care is something I enjoy, so I'm happy to make the time to be there for your pets. When caring for your pet in your home, I will stick to your pet's routine as closely as possible, whether that means feeding them at specific times, taking them for walks, or ensuring they get plenty of playtime. I'll provide lots of attention and affection to keep them feeling secure while you’re away. If your pet needs any special care, like administering medication or following specific instructions, I’m more than happy to accommodate. I understand the needs of pets that require extra attention, as I have dogs of my own who need special care. I'll keep a close eye on your pet's behavior, and I’ll always reach out if anything unusual comes up. I’m also happy to send pictures to keep you updated and help you feel more at ease!

About: Ive been around animals my whole life. I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was 8 years old with my family and have had my own cat on my own for a few years now. This includes puppies, kittens, senior dogs and cats, and anything in between. I believe every animal deserves the best care they can get and there is no such thing a a bad animal, only bad owners. Im very high energy but also very patient and do a lot of studying in my free time so I can take care of high energy animals or animals who do nothing! I am also a firm believer on not harshly punishing animals ESPECIALLY hitting them, I’d rather redirect! Im currently wanting to make this a full time gig on top of doing DoorDash in between visits if I’m not staying full time! If I’m staying full time the only time I’d leave the house is to go to the gym, but if that’s not possible in a specific situation that is okay! I can do anything your animals needs at your home. Whether it be going for a walk/run or playing, as Im very athletic. Cleaning litter boxes or picking up poop. Washing dogs or cats. If they want to cuddle or just run around Im good with anything!
About: **Compassionate Vet Tech Providing Trusted Care for Animals of Every Kind** If it has paws, hooves, feathers, scales, or fins, I'd love to care for it. Animals have always been my passion, and working in veterinary medicine has given me the knowledge and experience to provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care for pets with a wide variety of needs. Whether your companion is young and energetic, a senior needing extra patience, or has special medical requirements, I strive to make them feel comfortable, loved, and secure while you're away. I believe every animal deserves to be treated like family. My goal isn't just to meet their basic needs, it's to build trust, keep their routine as normal as possible, and give them plenty of affection, enrichment, and individualized attention. I'm experienced caring for many different types of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, small mammals, and other companion animals. I'm comfortable administering many medications, monitoring behavior and appetite, following detailed care instructions, and communicating with you through regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind. Whether your pet loves hiking, playing fetch, exploring the outdoors, relaxing on the couch, or simply having someone nearby who understands them, I'll tailor my care to their unique personality and needs. I know how much your animals mean to you because mine mean the world to me. When they're in my care, I'll treat them with the same love, patience, and respect I'd want for my own. I look forward to meeting you and your amazing animals! P.S. if you have animals other than dogs and cats that need care, (ex: horses, livestock, reptiles, exotics, etc.) please contact me and we can discuss prices/frequency/etc! :) Pet care is already a big part of my daily life. I worked in veterinary clinics for about 10 years as well as grown up on a farm, so caring for animals is something I do both professionally and personally. I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, walking, and exploring, so I love bringing dogs along for adventures when it's appropriate for their personality and energy level. I build my schedule around providing reliable, attentive care, whether that's walks, playtime, feeding, administering medications, or simply spending quality time with your pet. I understand how important consistency is, so I do my best to maintain each pet's normal routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. I believe every pet deserves individualized care, patience, and plenty of love, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I know pets are happiest when they can stay in their familiar environment, so I take the time to learn their daily schedule, preferences, personality, and any special needs before you leave. I provide attentive, individualized care that includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, enrichment, medications if needed, and, of course, plenty of love and affection. Having worked in veterinary clinics for about 10 years and grown up on a farm, I'm comfortable caring for pets of all ages, energy levels, and many medical needs while also recognizing when something doesn't seem quite right. I treat every home with the same respect I would want for my own, keeping it clean, secure, and following any instructions you provide. You'll also receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, safe, and receiving the same level of care I'd give my own animals.
About: After getting my family pitbull/boxer 8 years ago, I’ve become extremely confident and comfortable with animals. I absolutely LOVE caring for animals! For a couple years I worked as a pet care technician, so I know all about pet care. Along with caring for my own dog, I’ve also cared for my neighbors cat and family friend’s dogs for years. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine, ensuring companionship, health, and happiness for my furry friend through feeding, walks, playtime, and affectionate moments. I will care for my clients pets like they are my own babies. I’ll give them as much love and attention as they’re willing to receive :)
About: I have been taking care of pets for friends, family, and neighbors for around 6 years, since I was 14. I love all animals of all ages and sizes! I have stayed at many houses overnight, or just gone a few times a day to check on pets. I am willing to do either of those things! I will make sure to provide a safe space for your pet while their family is away for a bit!

I'd also love to walk your dog, whether they're big or small (I love them all)! Please inquire about services provided. I accept ALL dog breeds! My specialty is working with shy or skittish kitties. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
