“Derek is very qualified, sends pictures and video and kept us updated how Newman was doing. This was the first time we hired a dog sitter. Derek allowed us a meet and greet with our dog and put us at ease. I would highly recommend him and we will use his services again.”

“We are very happy with the care our two boys received. They stayed for a week and we could tell they had a good time. We received updates and pictures through the stay. Terry even helped with our very picky eater who required more attention. We will be back the next time! Thank you so much ! ❤️”

“I had to leave town last weekend and decided to see what boarding my dog Ding with somebody from Rover might be like. I hit the jackpot when I decided to reach out to Roman and Suzanne. Right from the get go they were extremely responsive and had the answers to all my questions. And so friendly! We did a quick meet and greet at their home and I instantly knew I’d be trusting my guy with them. Just really wonderful people and they clearly love the animals they take care of. And they sure took care of mine! I got lots of pictures and updates over the weekend, and Ding looked so happy in all of them. He really hit it off with their dog Sonic! The weekend flew by and after an easy pickup (they really made everything so easy!) Ding and I were back home. He totally crashed out after a fun weekend with his new friends. Cant recommend Roman and Suzanne and family enough! I’ll definitely be reaching out to for another upcoming weekend trip :) Thanks so much!”

“Felix was great with my dog Sadie! She can be a bit shy and anxious in new environments but warmed up in this safe and comfortable environment. She had a great time playing with the other dogs! Felix was very responsive and provided updates frequently”

“I am completely at ease when we leave our german shorthair pointer with this family. We get plenty of updates and it looks like Daisy gets plenty of playtime with their pet and plenty of attention from the humans. The second time we brought her there she ran right up to the house like she remembered the good memories she made there the last time.”

“Ruth was fabulous. My little 7lb Maggie was a new rescue that I only had for 2 months. She was so scared of EVERYTHING. Ruth has a nice small and quiet home. She was able to give my little doggie the individual and personal attention she really needed. I felt completely confident that Maggie would be cared for very well. We even received pictures and updates regularly while we were away. I'll definitely be calling Ruth, if we go out of town again.”

“Daniel was a great host for our pups! Great communication, lots of photos, clearly loves animals, his home was exactly as presented on Rover. Would ABSOLUTELY have Daniel watch the dogs anytime. Highly recommend.”

“Christoper was fantastic with our two dogs. We use rover regularly and he has been one of the best so far. We had to book last minute for a trip to GA and he was nothing but helpful. We got regular updates and felt like the dogs were in great hands while we were miles away. They came back to us happy and in probably in better shape than when we left them. Highly recommend Christopher and his kids.”

“Thank you so much for watching Gus and Theo! They loved their stay and we loved all of the updates, photos, and videos sent! Thank you for making us feel so comfortable while we were away. We can’t wait for them to stay with you again!!”

“Jenny is a fantastic sitter. She takes very good care of our senior dachshund, and updates every day! We feel very comfortable leaving our little Charlie with her.”

“Wow, Marissa is the best. We got photos frequently and reports of how our furry friend was doing. She was very responsive and flexible with our crazy work schedules. Best sitter ever!”

“We are so happy we found Beth! We had a couple schedule changes and she was more than accommodating. We will be very happy to use her to watch our doggies whenever shes available!”

“Pamela always does an excellent job with Leia! She goes above and beyond to create a welcoming, warm, safe and fun environment for her. And she always comes home with a special treat!”

“This is the second time we’ve had our 2 pups stay with Jenn and she was AMAZING as always! Our pups were a little bit more work this stay and she was so patient, kind, and communicative throughout it all. I will always recommend Jenn to anyone looking for a great sitter!”

“Maisy took wonderful care of our cat while we were gone for 2 weeks and has previously walked our 105 pound dog. She is so good with both. I appreciate her communication and pictures.”

“I appreciate how quick Spencer and Karli were to respond to my booking request. Spencer came out to check on my cat and he was very respectful and did a great job. I will definitely be booking with them again in the future.”

“I came to Grand Rapids on a last-minute work thing and didn’t want to leave Roxy in the hotel alone for 4 to 6 hours in the evening. I reached out to a couple of folks on rover and Miranda was one of the first ones that replied and was able to take Roxy. This was my first time as a doggy dad leaving Rox with with somebody I didn’t know. We met Miranda at her house and after meeting her found that she is truly a really nice person that truly loves animals and made it easy for me to leave her there. Roxy took to her almost immediately. I picked Roxy up the next morning and everything was great. She’d been walked and had play time few times and she was her normal goofy happy self. Great job!”

“Lauren did an amazing job with my kitty Ear Grey this week! This was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about how it would go - my cat LOVED her when they met before my trip! It helped so much to get pictures and notifications when she stopped in to visit and the daily updates were fantastic! We will definitely have Lauren babysit for us again ❤️”

About: HI, my name is Lenore, - My love for animals began when I was very young... - A few years ago, my Sheltie, Spencer... at 10 wk old, was already highly intelligent, and so full of love. In 3 days time, was house trained, and enrolled in Puppy Pre-School at a local PETSMART. He was such a quick learner, sitting and staying in no time! - Years later, my youngest Son and I, owned registered AKC, Siberian Huskies, and raised and sold 4 litters of puppies. Such fun. - a few other animals I've cared for; dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, bearded dragons, fish, eels, a chinchilla, pet snakes....but said no to a tarantula! Just can't do that one!! - thank you ahead of time for your consideration, you will NOT regret putting your trust in me. - Calm, and easy going are my characteristics, as i have plenty of time, and a big heart, to devote to caring for your companion, friend and family member!! Also being a loving & giving person, my priority would be, to fully enjoy caring for your dog, or pet... fulfilling a desire in me to again have a dog in the house, to care for, to spend time with, talk to, & treat 'royally' (spoil) :)) enjoying every second of the blessing. I will take only one dog at a time unless you have two, who know each other, and get along. That way, I can & will devote lots of extra TLC for your best friend...and will definitely treat them as if they were my own, with utmost of value and importance, how they deserve! “Jacy was absolutely fantastic! Cinder had an amazing time with her. She sent frequent updates throughout the day along with lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was incredibly kind, accommodating, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. Her home and yard were the perfect place for pups to run, play, and have a great time. What really set her apart was how she went above and beyond. At the end of the day, she surprised us with a few printed photos of Cinder to take home, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. It's clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and the people who trust her with them. We could tell Cinder was happy, well cared for, and having an absolute blast. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Jacy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional Rover sitter!”

About: I’ve always had animals of my own, basically since I was old enough to walk. I started my own pet-sitting business when I was 13. I’m the go-to for friends and family when they need their babies cared for and I love every breed. I studied veterinary medicine for a number of years and have more recently begun to train dogs, as well. I work full-time but I make my own schedule. I also live just a few minutes away from my work and can pop back to my house when need be. I’m already taking care of our senior dog, our new puppy, and our two cats. I have a large crate as well as two portable enclosures and no shortage of extra bowls, blankets, toys, and towels. I live in a great neighborhood and there is a park a block away. It’s important to me that animals are well taken care of and I love spending extra time playing and snuggling with any babies I get to hang out with.

About: If my husband would let me, I’d buy a zoo (come on powerball). I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve never met a pet that I didn’t want to spoil and cuddle. My daughter calls me a “stay at home pet mom”. Most days I’m home all day, with the exception of an occasional errand, appointment, drop ins for other dogs, or maybe a date night. We have 3 rescue kitties, who are like my tiny babies, very spoiled. Bam- who loves to help walk all the pups, and my girls- Pumpkin, and Elsa- who try to avoid visiting dogs at ALL cost. Basically I’m their “do-girl”. They all know how to talk me into extra treats. We also have Cash- a 1.5 year old, 30lb. Cocker Spaniel- who likes to think he’s a 125lb Husky. He hasn’t met a dog, big or small, he doesn’t like. We have a new pup, a female cocker spaniel, Carter. She’s 8 months now, she has appointed herself Official Play Time Supervisor of any and all dog guest- your pups will go home tired. Occasionally our daughter’s Boston Terrier, Franklin will visit, he hasn’t met a person, dog, or cat, he doesn’t like. He’s truly the best boy. I have had to administer meds in the past and don’t mind doing so. Animal caretaking is my full time job and my family is 1000% okay with that. I’ve never met an animal that I didn’t want to bring home with me. We just moved from Sparta to Ravenna, and we’re now on 3 acres. Your fur baby is invited and encouraged to make our house their home away from home. They will be well spoiled and loved, as my entire family will be doting on them.

I’ve cared for small dogs, medium, and large. I even care for the occasional horse or cat if needed. I am currently a server, so my schedule fluctuates often, but can help when I am available! “My dog is pretty anxious when it comes to new people/being around people when I’m not present, but Jasmine is so great with him! She was able to meet him prior to becoming his dog walker and he loved her instantly.”

About: I've been caring for animals for more than 20 years, starting with my own cats when I was 13. Over the years, I've also pet sat for friends, neighbors, and members of my community, and for nearly 10 years they've trusted me to care for their pets while they're away. I have experience caring for pets with special needs, including senior animals and those with ongoing health concerns. I understand the importance of following routines, administering specialized care, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a very flexible schedule. I primarily support my wife's career, which gives me almost open availability throughout the week. The only times I'm typically unavailable are briefly around 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM when I'm giving her a ride to and from work. This flexibility allows me to accommodate a variety of schedules, whether your cat needs morning and evening visits, midday check-ins, or care over multiple days. I'm happy to work with your pet's routine to make sure they receive consistent, reliable care and plenty of attention while you're away. Because I have two cats of my own, I don't offer boarding in my home. Instead, I provide care in your pet's home, where they can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I'm available for drop-in visits and walks, and I'm happy to tailor my care to your pet's individual needs. Whether that means feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs for walks, administering routine care, playing with energetic pets, or simply spending quiet time giving them attention and affection, I'm committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I also have experience caring for senior pets and animals with special needs, and I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions to ensure your pet receives the same level of care they're used to at home.
About: I have been around dogs and pets since I was very young. We had a family dog I helped take care of and all three of my siblings have had either a dog or cat that I would pet sit. My roommate also currently owns a puppy that I help out with as well. I am currently a full time student at GVSU and I have a part time job but it is very flexible. I can always make scheduling work as long as we communicate! I do not board other dogs very often unless it is dire. But trust and safely will depend on where you live and what you and your pet are comfortable with.
About: I've been around cats and critters my whole life. Right now I have my sweet Torti Twix and Noche, my mama's boy. I recently lost my soul kitty, Bronson, and would love to be surrounded by more kitties again. I used to have a leopard gecko named Pedro, so bring on your scaled friends as well. Rats, buns, whatever you have! I accept ALL dog breeds! Find me on Facebook at Lor's Pet Sitting! I also volunteer at a no-kill shelter called Focus on Ferals. I have experience humanely administering pills/oral medication. *Trained in feline first aid* A drop-in includes: feeding, potty time/litterbox cleaning, playtime, love & cuddles, enrichment activities, medication administration (if needed), light housework (sweeping, trash, counters, etc), and daily updates with photos/videos. Rover is my full-time gig, which means I'm flexible with my schedule. I'm available mainly for overnight cat boarding and cat/dog drop-ins. I'd also love to walk your dog, whether they're big or small (I love them all)! Please inquire about services provided. I accept ALL dog breeds! My specialty is working with shy or skittish kitties. I'm patient enough to get on their level, approach slowly, earn their trust, and let them know I'm a safe person. It's incredibly rewarding work. I'm also a sucker for the elderly pets.
About: I love all types of animals. I have experience in rabbits, cats & dogs. My family has always had animals, it’s a second nature to me. I am currently unemployed but looking for part time work. I would love to pick up pet sitting opportunities as much as possible. I have a free and open schedule. I do not offer pet services in my home but at the clients home I am more than willing to crate animals or let them out into a fenced in yard to watch them. I am good with rewarding with treats, having play time, picking up poop, cleaning, etc. I am fully capable of the responsibility it takes to care and build trust with animals.
About: I understand how stressful it is leaving your dog or having to board him or her while away. I have experience working with Rover, and I would like to resume providing pet care services. I've been around animals most of my life. I have also cared for the pets of friends and family, including my seven -year-old English cream golden retriever, Maxwell. He's friendly and loves playing with other dogs. I would love to be the trusted person to take care of and pamper your pet. Leave your pet with me and we can go for walks, play ball , Frisbee, or just relax. I will provide your dog with a quiet, loving home environment with plenty of attention and care to fit their personality. I am currently home the majority of the time to care for your pet. I work from home three out of five days a week, and I am available on weekends. I am in the office two days per week, However, I drive home on my lunch hour to care for our new friends. I will provide your pet with a quiet, safe environment. If you are boarding your pet with me, I will ensure they receive care tailored to their unique needs and personality
About: I am a retired Special Education Teacher. Your pet will get spoiled in my home or yours! I am a compassionate, caring person. I have been providing care for dogs for 4 years. I have plenty of references to back up any recommendation that you made need. My last pet was a puppy named Bella that I provided care for. I watch her 30 hours a week and helped potty train her. I tell my friends that I will know I am heaven when I see my past dogs around me.

“Derek is very qualified, sends pictures and video and kept us updated how Newman was doing. This was the first time we hired a dog sitter. Derek allowed us a meet and greet with our dog and put us at ease. I would highly recommend him and we will use his services again.”

“My friend and I were traveling through Michigan and I hadn't planned to bring my 15 year old baby because he's never stayed over at a stranger's house, but all of the wonderful reviews of Darla convinced me! We got daily videos and updates of our pups and I felt so safe leaving him there and seeing him cuddled up on the couch and wagging his tail with the other dogs. He obviously loved the big beautiful backyard and even though he's deaf and a bit of an escape artist neither was ever an issue. Would absolutely bring him back if we're in the area again!”

“Our dog, Maggie, loved her time at Tracy’s house! Tracy was very communicative and booked us on late notice. She has a big fenced in backyard that our dog loved. Maggie was tired and happy when she returned home. Thank you, Tracy!”

“Ohara and her family took great care of our baby dog! He was so happy and content all the time in the pictures. We are very thankful for the love and care you gave Levi and would come back again. Thank you!”

“Melvin was so kind and took great care of our sweet girl, Mabel. He took her over 4th of July weekend and she can be a little anxious with fireworks, and there were absoloutely no issues. He had a plan to keep the pup as comfortable as possible! You can really tell that he knows what he’s doing, and loves it too!”
