About: I have been loving and caring for animals since childhood. As a young adult I worked several years in a grooming salon, bathing and caring for dogs and cats there, and growing in knowledge about various different types of pets. I have a special love for all dogs from Great Danes to Yorkies. I have been dog-sitting for family and friends for a while. Now that my 6 kids are older (ages 14-3) I’d love to offer pet services within our home to family-friendly dogs. I have a fenced in backyard and a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks, great for walking! As I love learning about the various needs of my own children, I enjoy taking on the task of a dog's particular needs and how they need to be cared for. As a homeschooling mom I'm able to adapt my day to whatever a pet needs. This can easily include a morning, afternoon, and evening walk, as well as other potty breaks if needed. Our family would love to take a break from schoolwork to play with a dog in our fenced in backyard or take a dog on a walk on the wooded trails behind our home. I do have a crate in our home to keep a dog safe from potential open doors when visitors come and food droppings during meals. I use a "double door" method (deck gate, locked storm door, garage door) in our home when I pet sit, as an extra pro-caution for dog safety. I keep our fence gates locked during dog sitting. I do have the ability to use a child gate to give a pet a designated room to stay in, but I also enjoy having a dog live as part of our family for the duration of the stay! I allow my children to help with pet-care if each client gives the approval. A note that we do have chickens that I allow to free-range twice a day, but can remain inside their fence during dog care days.

We just boarded our English bulldog pup with Michael for the second time, and now we can’t imagine taking our puppy to anyone else! Michael sent daily videos that we LOVED getting and really looked forward to. It gave us a sense of comfort to see our little guy running around while we were away. Jessica is wonderful and my dog loves her very much. He seems to have a lot of fun whenever I pick him up, he arrives tired, I believe it is from all the attention, affection and games. I love how she updates me whenever she can with pictures and messages. We really like Jessica and for a while now I always leave my dog with her whenever I need to and I always like it a lot. Jessica was absolutely wonderful. Ransom had a dislocated hip and therefore walked awkwardly on three legs with his other leg in some sort of complicated sling. He had to be carried in and out to go to the bathroom and sometimes slipped out of his sling. Jessica sent pictures and updates every day. I could not have asked for a more caring compassionate person to care for Ransom.
