“Allison was super easy to talk to and super sweet! We had a to book this with very little notice and she was quick to respond and drop by for a meet and greet! The dogs and kitties loved her, she constantly sent me pictures, and let me know what was going on. House was clean when we got home, fur babies were happy, and that’s really everything we look for! We’ll definitely be booking with Allison again!”

“Katherine is first rate. She goes beyond our expectations to take care of our dog and cat. We could not ask for more. She is professional and more responsible than myself. Thank you Katherine!!!”

“Christina is a dog whisperer! Our dogs can be really territorial and protective. They both loved her at first sight. She went and above and our dogs were happy and well taken care of.”

“We had a great experience with Annalyn dog sitting our 2 dogs at our house for a few days. She was very proactive in her communication and sent pictures on a regular basis. She was very respectful of our home and spent a lot of her time here with our dogs making sure they were comfortable and well cared for. We would definitely use her again and refer her to others.”

“Justin was a welcome presence for Taquito and me, even though he stayed only for two nights. Justin truly understood my dog Taquito’s emotions. Taquito, who’s very in tune, became anxious at the sight of a suitcase. Justin took the time to snuggle with him, which made all the difference. His care and attention were exceptional. He was not only incredibly kind when Taquito got anxious, but also helped with extra jobs around the house. His care and attention left a lasting impression. We look forward to hosting Justin in the future, especially as Taquito is happy to have a new friend around.”

About: Hi, I’m Mary! Animals aren’t just a passion for me — they’ve been part of my life’s work. While living in France for 5 years, I volunteered with Les Pattounes du Cœur, a nonprofit that rescues and rehomes pets. I fostered everything from playful kittens to wise senior cats, including special-needs pets like my favorite three-legged kitty, who found the perfect forever home. I also rescued a sweet dog from the streets and helped him overcome anxiety caused by his past, teaching me patience, understanding, and the joy of building trust. Now back in the U.S., I’m here to offer loving, reliable care for pets in my community. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I’ll make sure your furry family member feels safe, happy, and truly cared for — as if they were my own. ❤️ When I’m not behind the wheel of giant 2-story “Tonka” trucks, you can usually find me spending time with furry friends. My job gives me plenty of time off, and I can’t think of a better way to fill that time than caring for animals. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddle sessions, providing pet services lets me combine my love for animals with my free time - and give pet parents peace of mind while they're away. I share my home with my sweet cat, Maple, who my wife adopted from a no-kill shelter. She’s spoiled with love, and I care for her the same way I would care for your pet — with attention, patience, and consistency. Every day, I make sure Maple has fresh water, a clean litter box, plenty of food, and lots of playtime and cuddles. I believe pets deserve a safe, comfortable, and loving environment, and I’ll treat your furry family member with the same care and respect I give my own. I truly adore animals (if I could, I’d have a house full of cats!), and I take their well-being seriously — because they’re more than pets, they’re family. 🐾

“My kitties adored having Annette here. She clearly loved them up - Clyde followed her everywhere! She tended to my home as if it were her own and enjoyed the pool - as anyone staying here should:-) I would have her back again anytime.”

About: Hi, my name is Maisie and I currently am in school to become a vet tech (veterinarian technician). I love animals of all types and have taken care of both farm animals and indoor pets for a total of 10 years. I love cats and Dogs but truly just want to give back to these precious pets that have given us so much. I have watched my friends and familys dogs many times, from large Dog breeds to small. From feeding to playing and giving affection to your fur baby. I strive to makes sure that your pet feels loved safe and cared for. I currently am a student, and have plenty of time to give your pet lots of love and affection. I have a very flexible schedule. I make sure to go out with any type of dog to ensure safety and make sure that everything is ok with your pets over all health and well-being. I have a dog of my own named Bolt and he is within a haller away from me, I strive to make sure that your pet will be safe especially small dogs and puppies.

“Wonderful sitter! Marian is so great and all three of our dogs had a great weekend with her. She communicated with us while we were gone and I knew our pups were being well taken care of. Highly recommend!”

About: I was a volunteer coordinator at TALGV, which has no shortage of dogs with special needs.. They house, puppies, seniors, and those with trauma histories. I am currently a full time student pursuing the qualifications to become an addiction therapist. My university is online so I have optimal flexibility in my schedule. I care for other people’s pets as though they were my own. They must have clean water at all times along with food, love, & exercise. Safety is # 1.

“She is one of a kind without a doubt. After checking her qualifications and meeting her we had absolutely zero doubt about our babies safety. Plenty of great communication while we were more than satisfied. We highly recommend Rachel, a true dog loved. On a scale of 1-10 we give her a twenty and WILL USE HER AGAIN.”

About: My neighbors and friends of ten+ years have counted on me, and still do, to care for their animals. Over my lifetime, I've cared for reptiles, cats, squirrels and dogs since childhood. I prefer animals over people. They get me. And, I understand them very well. Usually daily activities will include at least one trip to either a dog park where we will spend no less than one hour at play or greeting other dogs or we will visit the Sahuarita Lake Park for no less than a one mile walk around the lake. I also will administer medicine, injections and bandage wounds if necessary. I am used to caring for ailing and senior animals. I provide tender and loving care. I also take time to do daily rooming (combing and brushing) and washing soiled linen and towels. I am good at leaving your home clean or cleaner than when I arrived. I do not have formal training to perform cpr.. I am a home body spending time writing short stories and the next best American novel or meditating. My space is my sanctuary. And, if your pet feels safer in their own environment, I will care for your pet in the environment in which they are accustomed while I protect and respect your privacy. Due to strict HOA anti business rules, I cannot conduct a pet care business out of my home. Otherwise, I would love to care for animals in my home.

About: I have been watching pups on Rover since 2020. I take great pride in caring for your pup(s) and can promise they will be safe, receive too much attention and will become part of our family before we give them back. I’ve watched all kinds of dogs and happy to accommodate even the pickiest pups on the block! I enjoy working on helping pets learn new skills, leash/walk training, and will stick to whatever “house rules” you like! We enjoy watching dogs, they are never an inconvenience to our routine! I do prefer a meet and greet before booking and if appropriate, you bring a crate for your dog(s) in the event we have to leave the house or at night time. I have a dedicated dog run and fenced in backyard with lots or room to run and play. We are patient and really pay attention to our pups and make sure they feel comfortable and safe!

About: What makes me stand out as a sitter is the genuine care and attention I bring to every pet I meet. I don’t offer formal training, but I do provide something just as important: love and comfort. I specialize in making your pets feel happy and at ease by offering plenty of pets, scratches, rubs, and treats (with your permission, of course). My goal is to meet your pet’s individual needs, whether it’s extra cuddle time, a favorite toy, or a peaceful walk. I take the time to understand their personality and make every effort to ensure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. With 34 years of pet care experience, I treat every pet like family—because that’s what they are. As a single homeschooling mother, my days are carefully planned around my children’s schedules, allowing me to balance their education and needs with my work. Pet care fits seamlessly into this routine because of the flexibility it offers, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to earn an income while still being present for my family. After spending the last four years as a stay-at-home homemaker, I’ve developed strong organizational skills and a deep appreciation for making connections—whether with my own kids or with the pets I care for. Pet sitting allows me to pour that same love and attention into making your furry family members feel safe, happy, and comfortable. It’s a joy to incorporate pet care into my life, not only because I love animals, but because it reflects my values of nurturing, patience, and reliability. How I Care for Pets in Clients’ Homes— When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on creating a seamless and stress-free experience for both you and your furry family members. I understand that being in a familiar environment can help pets feel safe and comfortable, so I take extra care to follow their usual routines as closely as possible. Whether it’s feeding schedules, walk times, or cuddle sessions, I’ll provide the same love and attention you would. I also take the time to understand any special instructions or quirks your pet may have, ensuring they feel completely at ease while you’re away. In addition to keeping your pet happy and cared for, I’m respectful of your home—leaving it as clean and tidy as I found it. From watering plants to collecting mail, I’m happy to help with small tasks to make your time away worry-free. My goal is to treat your pets and home with the same love and respect I give to my own. You can rest easy knowing your furry friend is cared for like family in the comfort of their own space. How I Care for Pets in My Home— When your furry friend stays with me, they become part of our family. I have one dog, Amie, a sweet Texas Blue Lacey mix, who makes a great companion for visiting pups. Our home sits on 2/3 of an acre, fully gated, with plenty of space for your pup to explore, sniff around, bird watch and enjoy the beautiful mountain view in a peaceful, quiet area. Inside, your pup will have access to a cozy, private den that serves as their own bedroom—a perfect retreat where they can relax and feel secure. For added convenience, I have a doggie door that allows pups the freedom to come and go into the yard as they please, ensuring they can enjoy fresh air and exercise whenever they like. I’m happy to host pups who aren’t crate-trained, as long as they are potty trained. Each dog receives personalized care, whether they prefer belly rubs, playtime, or just a quiet spot to rest. My goal is to make every guest feel at home, happy, and loved while you’re away. You can relax knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like one of my own.

“Perrla was fantastic with our doggos! She was reliable, and sent photos and videos daily, and communicated with us regularly. I felt comfort in knowing I had her caring for our pets.”

“I had the chance to visit Mary and Maple (her cat) a few weeks ago. Place was large and clean, and Maple had freedom to move as much as she wanted. She had a water supply that constantly refreshed itself and food was provided often. Maple also had a sandbox to use whenever she needed. She also was well-treated: her fur was silky, smooth and clean. While, in the beginning, Maple was wary of me, it didn't take long for her to mellow and close in for cuddles. In all, Mary really cares for pets and you won't regret leaving yours in her care.”

Continental pet parents share their Rover experiences
I could say so much about Allison but bottom line, HIRE HER, you won't be disappointed! She took exceptional care of our three cats and sulcata tortoise for over two weeks. She also watered our plants, took in our mail, and looked after our home. She has great communication skills and our pets were well loved while we were gone, we could tell! She will definitely be our go-to sitter.

Jackie provided a loving environment for our two “kids”. She loves them and provides for them as she would her own dogs. It was a huge relief to be able to travel out of state and feel relaxed knowing that our dogs were being well cared for. She went above and beyond providing exercise and social opportunities for them. Jackie is a top of the line caregiver!
