I’ve also cared for cats, including litter maintenance, and I have a lively 6-month-old tortoise. I love keeping pets happy, safe, and comfortable, providing plenty of play, cuddles, and attention. I’m experienced with multiple pets and pets of all personalities, and I treat every animal like family. I treat my pets like my own children, so I’m very attentive to their daily needs. I feed them morning, midday, and night, and provide 3–5 potty breaks throughout the day. If I’m ever unavailable, my partner helps with their care, ensuring pets are always happy, healthy, and comfortable. I’m used to keeping a consistent routine and paying close attention to pets’ moods and needs. I ensure that pets are always safe, comfortable, and well supervised, whether in my home or theirs. I maintain a clean and organized environment, including cleaning dogs’ potty areas daily or weekly and cats’ litter boxes daily, with full litter changes every 1–5 days. I prioritize trust and clear communication with owners so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: I want to open our home for dogs that need to feel loved and comforted while their family is away. I have had a pet most of my life. Different breeds from a small terrier to large dogs. Currently we have an older lab that loves everyone. We choose a Labrador after training puppies with Guide Dogs for the Blind for 5years. I like fun energetic pets as well as slow moving or special needs. I will take pictures and videos so you can see how your family pet is doing. We retired to Green Valley 13 years ago. One of us is always home, but I will be the primary care given for your pet. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to care for your precious family member. My husband and I are retired and home full time. With a fenced back yard for your pet. And many areas to walk . If you have an early riser, I'm up at 5:30 daily. Our home has an enclosed front court yard. And a 3ft6inch brick wall in back. I keep only plants I can see under for the safety of my animals.
About: I grew up with cats and dogs and as an adult I’ve never lived without cats. About 16 years ago my daughter talked me into getting a Yorkie and I have been in love with small dogs ever since. I started fostering rescue kittens about 7 years ago when I lived in Hawaii and found my new passion. I moved to Green Valley, Arizona summer of 2025 to be closer to my 85 yo mother who is still pretty active but experiencing memory issues. I am looking forward to helping my new neighbors with their pet care needs 💜 I am currently retired so I have plenty of time to care for your pets and walk your small to medium sized dogs either in your home or mine. I live in a smoke-free, child-free house with a fenced in yard. My 16 year old Yorkie is very social and loves having furry visitors. Pets are allowed on the furniture in our house and sometimes humans are too.
About: My neighbors and friends of ten+ years have counted on me, and still do, to care for their animals. Over my lifetime, I've cared for reptiles, cats, squirrels and dogs since childhood. I prefer animals over people. They get me. And, I understand them very well. Usually daily activities will include at least one trip to either a dog park where we will spend no less than one hour at play or greeting other dogs or we will visit the Sahuarita Lake Park for no less than a one mile walk around the lake. I also will administer medicine, injections and bandage wounds if necessary. I am used to caring for ailing and senior animals. I provide tender and loving care. I also take time to do daily rooming (combing and brushing) and washing soiled linen and towels. I am good at leaving your home clean or cleaner than when I arrived. I do not have formal training to perform cpr.. I am a home body spending time writing short stories and the next best American novel or meditating. My space is my sanctuary. And, if your pet feels safer in their own environment, I will care for your pet in the environment in which they are accustomed while I protect and respect your privacy. Due to strict HOA anti business rules, I cannot conduct a pet care business out of my home. Otherwise, I would love to care for animals in my home.
About: Serious inquiries only. I value my time and I value your time. Pretty please with a cherry on top 🍒🙏 If for any reason I don’t respond in a lightning-fast, high-speed-internet kind of way… please understand I’m just like the rest of you—working, hobby-ing, taking fitness classes, driving, spilling tea, or bravely facing a sink full of suspicious-smelling dishes. That said, I will get back to you within the standard 24 hours. Guaranteed. If I don't answer within the guaranteed 24 hours, I will offer half off my regular price. My longest response time ever was a few hours—and that was either because I was at work or I fell asleep during a movie 😅 Thank you for attending my TED Talk. You may now proceed to my actual intro. 🎤✨ Hi, I’m Mary! Animals aren’t just a passion for me — they’ve been part of my life’s work. While living in France for 5 years, I volunteered with Les Pattounes du Cœur, a nonprofit that rescues and rehomes pets. I fostered everything from playful kittens to wise senior cats, including special-needs pets like my favorite three-legged kitty, who found the perfect forever home. I also rescued a sweet dog from the streets and helped him overcome anxiety caused by his past, teaching me patience, understanding, and the joy of building trust. Now back in the U.S., I’m here to offer loving, reliable care for pets in my community. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I’ll make sure your furry family member feels safe, happy, and truly cared for — as if they were my own. ❤️ When I’m not behind the wheel of giant 2-story “Tonka” trucks, you can usually find me spending time with furry friends. My job gives me plenty of time off, and I can’t think of a better way to fill that time than caring for animals. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddle sessions, providing pet services lets me combine my love for animals with my free time - and give pet parents peace of mind while they're away. I share my home with my sweet cat, Maple, who my wife adopted from a no-kill shelter. She’s spoiled with love, and I care for her the same way I would care for your pet — with attention, patience, and consistency. Every day, I make sure Maple has fresh water, a clean litter box, plenty of food, and lots of playtime and cuddles. I believe pets deserve a safe, comfortable, and loving environment, and I’ll treat your furry family member with the same care and respect I give my own. I truly adore animals (if I could, I’d have a house full of cats!), and I take their well-being seriously — because they’re more than pets, they’re family. 🐾
About: I grew up dogs since I was born, i’ve taken care of all ages and pets. I have taken care of a litter of 12 boxer puppies, bottle fed a 5 week old parrot, and trained puppies and adult dogs. Im free mainly all day everyday! I am a nanny during the day, but have free time to be able to walk your pets and also do drop ins! I would of course listen to the clients rules, they know there pup. If the client would like me to walk them ,I would definitely make sure they have there collar and leash attached.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs, my own pup, Ludo, lived to be over 20 years old, and supporting him through every life stage taught me patience, gentleness, and how to meet the unique needs of aging pets. I’m genuinely passionate about animals and have spent years volunteering at animal shelters, which has given me experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets for years, and I treat every animal like a member of the family. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness truly matter to me, and I’m committed to giving them the same love and attention I’d want for my own. I am currently transitioning between full time work and going back to school online. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time to caring for your pets. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I can work around your needs and ensure your fur babies get consistent attention and care throughout the week. I’d love to fill some of my time making sure your pets feel happy, safe, and loved. In my home, pets have access to a safe, fenced yard where they can play and explore. I live with two friendly dogs and two shy but affectionate cats, who enjoy snuggling and playing with new furry friends once they feel comfortable. We have plenty of toys to keep pets entertained, and I make sure everyone feels safe, loved, and included. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize their routine and comfort, giving them attention, playtime, and affection while respecting their space and environment. My goal is always to help pets feel secure and happy, whether they’re at home or visiting mine.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
