About: We moved to Cherry Valley 2 years ago. I am a dog mom of two sweet and passive poodle mix girls (no children). I work full-time online as a college professor so I am home with my dogs during the day. I have a doctorate in Teaching and Learning, MA in Educational Leadership, and a BA in English. I used to be a k-12 classroom teacher before teaching college online full-time. I am am passionate about animals. I have a large fenced yard. My neighborhood is quiet and pedestrian friendly. I love all dogs! I’m used to caring for dogs from 8 week old puppies to seniors. I have experience with insulin dependent pups and deaf dogs. I love chihuahuas to mastiffs. I promise your dog will get the very best love, attention, care, and endless fun! My dogs are used to me being home all day. I never leave the house for more than an hour or two, and that is typically on weekends or in the evening. My dogs are very secure and spoiled by my attention, and yours will be, too! My two sweet female dogs are both spayed and are very friendly to other dogs and people. Prior to moving to IL, I fostered dogs and watched other animals on Rover.

About: Hello! I’ve recently decided to join Rover to help around the Chicago area. To me, animals/pets are a gift. Since I was born we always had a family dog. I had a Yorkie named Willy I got in first grade, I was very shy and he was my best friend growing up, I was never alone with him by my side. I volunteered at a couple animal shelters a few times a month when I was younger and always got recognized for how the animals would take to me. I’m a very easy going, energetic and understanding person, just being around animals brings me joy. I would love to help you keep your dog or cat active, happy and satisfied everyday :) I'm currently working part-time (3 days a week, 25 hours) so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2 pm currently. ***I started Rover in Arizona in 2019 and have been moving and figuring a lot out since then so my responses haven't been the best previously but I'm finally settled down and fully committing to this as a side job for me and promise to respond promptly :)*** I have a small fenced back yard. About: I have had pets as long as I can remember - from the playful puppy all the way through the senior years. My pup, Alice, is a 60 pound sweetheart who enjoys making new puppy friends. My cat, Bubby, keeps to herself most of the time, but is super loving on her terms. I am currently working permanently from home giving me the opportunity to offer a flexible schedule for early drop offs and/or later pickups if necessary. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup to keep your dog company in your absence. I have one cat as well, but she keeps to herself most of the time.

About: Since a child, I have been trusted to watch, walk, and care for neighbors and friends dogs. I still care for my friends and families dogs. I grew into loving the difficult dogs, training lots of different sports and dog behavior. I love seniors/special needs who just need some TLC. Puppies are my absolute favorite. I enjoy the bond and training from the start. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom looking to start working again and thought this would be a great fit due to my passion with animals. I have a flexible schedule and am available to board most days. Dogs will be given love and attention, play, walks, really whatever they are into or owner needs. My own crew loves to swim in our pool, play frisbee or fetch the chuck-it. I have 3 custom built in crates that are massively oversized. I can keep dogs separate from my own or integrate. I absolutely love working with puppies and dogs and exposing them to new fun things!

About: Hello, I'm a dog lover, of all breeds, big and small and everything in between. I truly believe that your precious canine/feline will be truly at home with me. Animals off all sizes and breeds are special to me and also to God. I know I have a couple less than desirable reviews, but they were total misunderstandings. Unfortunately they stay on my page which makes me so sad because it gives me great joy to be there and stand in the gap for these precious animals. I also watch caged pets. I am very flexible, available at a moments notice. I love all animals and do everything in my power to accommodate. I'm not perfect but I love all animals perfectly. Another chance appreciated!!

About: I have always had pets.When I was young my dad would always being home rescue dogs just because someone said the dog needed a home. I love animals big and small and would love to care for your pup. I now have two cats that are rescues and a very loving German Shepherd who gets along with any dog or cat he meets. I have three children who all love animals just as much as I do we have a large yard but it's not fenced in so we do Walk or use a lead in the backyard. My cats also get along great with any dog. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was young, and I now have over 18 years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Friends, neighbors, and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and give their pets the same love and attention they would. I’m patient, responsible, and passionate about making every dog feel safe and happy. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the week. I’m available on weekends and most weekdays after 2 PM for walks, drop-ins, or boarding. Also im at full time college student I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment where animals can relax and feel safe. I follow each pet’s routine closely, provide lots of attention, and make sure they’re supervised at all times. I can also crate your dog if required.

About: I grew up with dogs all of my life. We always had at least one dog and usually a cat growing up. My family and I now have 3 dogs- Cocker Spaniel, Bernedoodle, and a Beagle mix. We treat our dogs as family- humans. I consider them my children. I am a former foster for Tails, but unfortunately I had to give that up due to getting attached to them all. ❤️ *update- I’m fostering again! 🥰💕❤️ I am a stay at home mom to my 3 dogs! My 15, 12, and 6 year old are in school all day. I am home all day besides an occasional errand, school drop off/pickup, or an after school or weekend sporting event for my boys. My husband also has a flexible work schedule. In fact, I usually have him come along on meet & greets so that we can tag team visits if need be. We have a Petsafe invisible fence. If you have a Petsafe collar, then it should work at my home. Besides the Petsafe invisible fence, we have an extra long tie out in the backyard. We also have a fenced in area near the pool which is unavailable during pool season otherwise open. I recently put up a fenced area that is suitable for dogs that aren’t jumpers or strong. Our yard is about half an acre. I’m happy to walk a dog on a leash in the yard or around the neighborhood as well. We have a beautiful walking path nearby. I also love giving the option to pet owners for in home visits while they’re gone. Sometimes a pet is more content and comfortable in their own home. I’m happy to visit 3-4 times a day to provide some company, feed, and allow for potty breaks. It’s really a great option for many who don’t enjoy being boarded at a facility.

About: I have taken care of many dogs in my neighborhood for years. I had a German Shorthair Pinter I trained. I have had a umber of cats over the years. My dog now is 14 yes.! I am a retired teacher so I have the time to care for your dogs! I am available everyday. I do attend church on Sunday’s for 3 hours. Other wise I’m am home all day. First thing in the morning we are out the door for a walk around the neighborhood. We come the dogs have a fresh clean bowl of water and a treat. My dog eats around 12 o’clock. I feel his bowl up with his favorite dog food from blue buffalo. Second walk of the day is around noon outside around the neighborhood check in with some of the friends dogs and back home. We take a little nap around 2 o’clock and then back out for another walk around five. My dog gets another bowl full of blue buffalo. Sometimes he eats it and sometimes he waits and eats it later in the evening. We go out approximately between nine and 10 o’clock. The last of the day potty breaks. I try to keep the same schedule for the dogs so they know what they have to do when we go outside.
