I am 100% comfortable with watching older pups too as long as there is no serious health issues. I will provide any exercise or administer any medication (non-injected) as needed 😊 I would love to schedule a meet and greet with you and your pets! In-house sitting is ideal for any pets that have a set schedule and will help keep them comfortable in an environment they are used to. I have a very strict schedule with my dogs at home and am used to following a schedule. There is a possibility I can be gone for 3-5 hours a day if your pets are okay with being alone for that long. I always ask that you leave me detailed instructions on feeding/care guidelines for your pets and we will discuss care during required meet & greet. If your house does not have a fenced in yard, I am fine with walking your dog on a leash. *Warning: I will NOT walk your dog off a leash even if you tell me your dog is well mannered off a leash. You MUST leave me a leash if you do not have a fence.*

My own pup goes out 3x per day so I generally like to be able to leave a dog alone for up to 2 hours so I can go home and let my pup out but my fiancee can usually help out and we might be able to make something work if you need me to be with your dog all the time. It would require a higher fee because I wouldn't be able to accept other bookings during that time. At this point in time I do not offer to care for pets in my home. About: I am a former police Richmond Police Officer who has worked with and cared for dogs since age 12 in many settings. Aside from my parents and grandparents raising dogs, I worked several hundred hours of community service in a dog boarding and dog training facility in upstate New York prior to them hiring me as a teen to continue there after completing the hours. I trained our own family dogs are well as friend’s dogs even in my teen years. I have raised and shown bulldogs for the last 10 years and my daughter has grown to develop a passion for caring for dogs as well. She’s turning into a little dog whisperer and I love fueling the passion her and I share. As we are in a transitioning time and creating plans for the future, I would like to provide trusting care for dog owners in the community that value the care and safety of their dogs while they have obligations or vacations where they need to arrange accommodations for their beloved dogs. Rather than having someone who walks your dog with no real concern for bettering the quality of life of the dog in a way their owner can recognize, I would like to provide care with structure and stimulation in a safe environment so dog owners can know their dog thrived and was well exercised and cared for while they were away. About: My husband and I have a 7 year old German short haired pointer and a 10 year old Wheaten Terrier/King Charles Spaniel mix. They are both friendly with other dogs. They have free range of the house other than our living room couch. We have an Invisible fence brand around our yard and we live in a cul-da-sac in our neighborhood, which is also great for walks. I have taken care of my parents dogs when they are out of town and have stayed at many client’s homes the past several years to care for their dogs while they are on vacation. I would feed them twice a day and give potty breaks before and after work. Now I am a stay at home mom with my newborn daughter, so my schedule is flexible for walks, potty breaks, etc. I love spending time with dogs, whether it's outside playing or cuddling in the house. I have given my dogs medication to swallow when prescribed by their veterinarian as well as cleaning out their ears every 2-3 times a week for normal hygiene. I will follow all duties assigned to me to care for your pet. I am a stay at home mom with my newborn so my schedule is extremely flexible for feedings, walks, potty breaks, drop-ins, play times, day care, etc I will provide feedings, potty breaks, walks, inside/outside activities as needed/wanted per your request. We live in a cul-de-sac in our neighborhood which is great for walking, plus an Invisible fence around our wooded yard, which is great for playing fetch. Dogs are welcome to freely roam inside the home, other than on the living room couch. We have multiple dog beds, toys/bones, and water bowls around the house, plus two couches upstairs that the dogs are allowed on.
