About: I have had pets my whole life and I have worked with military bomb detection dogs for the last four years, making me very familiar with pet care. I am currently in college seeking a business administration degree, so I am pretty much available all throughout the week for outdoor activities in San Diego. I have no pets at the moment as I am currently living in an apartment and do not want to limit there mobility and or exercise.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 15. I walked and watched my neighbors, friends and family’s dogs when they went on vacation or during the day for potty breaks. I love dogs and have always had a dog of my own. I will treat your dog as if they were mine. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I walk my dog every 3 hours with a long walk in the morning and evening. I walk my dog very frequently, with a long walk in the morning and evening adding up to 5 miles a day. I can also take your dog to the dog park if you and your dog are comfortable with the dog park. I can crate and give medicine if necessary.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life -- both my own dogs and as the go-to sitter for friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors. Across my extensive time caring for dogs, I have gained experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am particularly good with nervous or timid dogs, and I am very comfortable with dogs who have special medical needs. Last year I had to say goodbye to my own greatly beloved dog after two years of very intense cancer care. While I am not ready for a new dog of my own yet, I am eager to shower other people's dogs with affection and care. I have a very flexible schedule and am available for dog care most days. On days listed as available, I am able to spend almost all of the time at home with the dog(s). I do not currently have any other animals in the home, and your dog will receive my full attention! I have a wide variety of dog beds for them to try out and toys for them to play with.

About: I’m downtown and perfect for anyone in the area. I can do picks ups, and park time. I love all dogs and can handle up to five at a time in my home. My dogs are service animals and extremely lovely. They will mainly be in my boarding facility in Newberry Springs but you could occasionally see them here. I’m excited to host your furbabes! I take my dogs to the dog park between 545 and 5am and we stay for about an hour. Your dogs can come to that. It’s the grape street dog park. I also do dog runs at night between 6-9pm. I treat pets like humans. Love and redirection constantly. Your dogs might even leave better behaved and I won’t charge you extra for it. Lol

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a young boy - dogs, cats, fish, you name it. I’ve raised three dogs myself from pups for their entire life and have been around dogs and animals my entire life. I have taken care of senior dogs and dogs with behavioral issues and special needs. We have a big sunny balcony that dogs love to sunbathe on, a dog park in our building, another dog park at PetCo a block away, and we take Jake and dogs out for multiple walks a day around the neighborhood. If you choose to board or leave your dog with us they will have a wonderful time and get whatever treatment they need, whether that is a relaxing day at home lounging around, playing with Jake or having their own private space, sunning on the balcony, going for walks or even watching movies if they like. We love to provide our dogs with a stimulating and caring environment and would be honored to do the same with your special pup. My partner and I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule so can accommodate your busy schedule and needs. There are two of us so your dog will get plenty of attention and as many walks and cuddles as needed. We live in a very spacious, secure luxury condo with a sunny balcony and multiple dog parks on site and nearby. We have a well trained and extremely friendly and social dog ourselves, and safety and security is our top priority.

About: Dogs give us "2 paws up" for our slumber parties. :) Dogs are my cause. I've been nurturing and protecting them for 14 years. I've also learned from them and been protected by them ... because dogs are the best species on earth. I have a soft spot for senior, special-needs, and shy dogs. I’m a fiercely protective dog mom and dog Aunty whose beloved boy Django just passed away at 15. He was my heart dog and soul dog. Still is. He was a senior, arthritic, deaf dog with other special needs and health challenges. I became an integrative wellness practitioner for dogs so that I would be educated and prepared as Django went through different life stages. Our large outdoor patio is a bonus in downtown San Diego, and it is enclosed with an artificial grass area for dogs if they need the relief between walks. We'd provide at least three walks per day as well. I always let dogs determine the pace as many walk more slowly than I would if walking alone. I'm always paying attention when walking dogs - not staring at my phone. I'm present and protective of the pups in my care. Healthy, delicious dog treats are plentiful here, though we believe in keeping dogs at ideal weights for their health. We will follow your lead and instructions when it comes to your dogs. There will always be filtered water available for the pups. At our home, you'll often find relaxing music on, nice natural light, and lots of comfortable spots for dogs to make themselves at home both inside and on our Zen patio. We keep our home at a comfortable temperature for the pups with fresh air flowing in, and we have AC or heat when needed. Toys are plentiful, but we can remove them if you're concerned about antlers or if your dog might be a chewaholic. We have kongs and puzzle feeders, too. I always give dogs extra attention at first - even if that means giving them space - so that they can acclimate to the new environment. When my dog Django was alive, he'd mentor the newcomers and show them the ropes. With few exceptions, the dogs adjusted quickly and saw our place as home away from home. I'm good at reading dogs' body language and understanding them on many levels, which includes determining if two dogs might need space from each other. We're fortunate to live in a community that welcomes dogs of all sizes and breed mixes. If you have a dog who needs to be the solo dog staying with us, that can often be arranged. We always want to discuss the dogs' needs, behavior, temperament, routine, likes and dislikes beforehand so that we can do our best to ensure a good fit. We like to have clients complete a client survey and a medical emergency form just to be prepared in the event of such an emergency if clients were unreachable.
