“Kit stayed at our house for 3 nights to watch out two dogs and one cat and we couldn’t be happier with his services. We did a brief meet-and-greet a few days before and I felt very comfortable because Kit has a really kind way about him, which the dogs and cat immediately responded positively to. I knew they would be in great hands! Over the days leading up to and during the pet sitting, Kit was communicative, proactive, reliable, responsive, responsible, and mature. I got lots of great pictures to know they were happy. Kit has a lot of experience taking care of dogs and cats and was comfortable taking on all tasks of feeding, walking, etc., and kept their routine on track. He asked good questions when he was unsure about anything and even dealt calmly with a temporary power outage situation. Kit always had in mind the best interest of our animals and the house and we felt very assured in his capable hands. As a bonus, Kit was very prompt, tidy, and took great care of the house. About: After 15 years with my dog, I’ve transitioned to being the go-to dog walker and sitter for my family and friends, and am excited to expand! I have experience caring for dogs in every phase of life, from the energetic puppy days, to the senior days that required more attention. I understand firsthand what it takes to look after an aging dog, from mobility issues, to medication schedules, to just understanding an individual dog’s quirks. But, I’m just as comfortable with the energy and playfulness of puppies and young dogs, and I adjust my approach to fit whatever stage of life a dog is in. Working from home with limited meetings allows me to dedicate the time and care to dogs that they deserve, and I don’t mind the company myself! Whether your dog needs a walk, backyard exercise, feeding, a drop-in check, or someone to cuddle with on the couch while you’re away, I can accommodate your pet's needs! I treat every dog I meet with the love, kindness, and affection that I gave my dog, and I can’t wait to share that with more local dogs! I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be with pets all day and go for regular bathroom breaks/walks during the day as well. I am also available on weekends! When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their instructions, my goal is to keep their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, same feeding times, walk schedule, and any medications, so there’s minimal disruption while they’re away. I also make sure to give plenty of one-on-one attention and playtime, keep the home secure and tidy, and stay alert to any changes in behavior, eating, or energy level. I’m also careful with yard safety, checking that fences and gates are secure before letting a dog out and keeping an eye on them the whole time, rather than assuming a fenced yard means no supervision is needed. I also always keep the owner updated with photos or messages during the stay

About: Hello. I have been working professionally with animals for the last 5 years. I spent three years working at a pet store working/caring for pets in the store that included dogs, cats, and exotics. And now for almost 3 years I have been working as a veterinary assistant/technician at an emergency and speciality hospital. That means I have experience to help with your pup/cat with special needs and helping administering medications! I grew up with animals all my life. I currently have a dog (Onyx) that I have personally trained myself and a cat (Masha) that I have also trained to do a trick or two for a treat. I have a huge love for animals and just like I do for my patients I work with, I will treat your baby with love and care as if it were my own. I currently work full-time at the veterinary hospital so I’m only available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. That includes mornings, afternoons, and most nights. Unfortunately I cannot watch/bring your pets to my home. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. Whether your companion is energetic, shy, elderly, or has medical needs, I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
