“Liz was absolutely amazing! She came and met my dogs before the scheduled walks and was extremely friendly and caring to their needs. The walks were perfectly on time with photos as well. I have to admit while I was nervous using this app I was pleasantly surprised at the ease and extreme professionalism of Liz! I will definitely be using Liz again and would recommend her to everyone!”

“We just started using Samantha after moving to Shrewsbury from the city and she has been great! We are so relieved we have someone we can count on to take care of our dog while we are in NYC for work! She makes it so easy and we know our Tosh is in great hands.”

“Bridget is great with Meagan. My rescue dog can be fearful but took to Bridget very quickly, and happily followed her out the door and came back after her walk and briefly played and then laid on her bed seated.”

“Joseph's calm demeanor immediately put our dog, Seven, at comfort. She is sometimes skiddish around new people and previous dog walkers had a tough time with even getting her to walk around the house. She's taken to him very quickly and now is someone we can rely upon to help take care of Seven.”

“Angelica is a great person to take care of your dog or walk them. I would recommend her and use her again in the future if needed. She is always keeping you informed about the walk and if any issues come up. She is always on time and will communicate with you if she is running late.”

“Upon reading reviews here on Rover, I was drawn to Nick’s profile; he seemed sincere, genuine, and caring. My instincts were correct and he has gone above and beyond to make sure my dog had the care and exercise that she needed. His punctuality is exemplary, as are his communication skills. I’m grateful to have found Nick, and I’m sure my Gracie is too.”

We are so happy that they get along so well, and we would happily recommend Meaghan to anyone in need of pet care!”

About: I spent a year working in a fast-paced shelter environment caring for a large variety of dogs, cats, and other animals. This experience allowed me to become familiar with the temperaments of many different breeds, and taught me much about behavioral challenges faced by some animals. I have been a cat owner all my life, and have had the opportunity to help care for a ferret owned by a family member for the past five or so years. I have also dogsat twice for a family friend within the past three years. I have open availability for drop-ins after 11 AM, and I am typically available until 12 AM unless marked otherwise. I am not available in the early mornings. When I am in your space, I want to assure that your pet will be able to have the best time without jeopardizing their safety. I am loving and energetic, but observant and knowledgeable about pet care — I will make sure that the best possible care is given to your animal(s).

“Neisha was so great with Marty ! Great communication and responsive., on time and sent photos ! Can’t wait to use her again soon ! Thank you Neisha !”

About: I’ve had family dogs all my life and in the past year raised a litter of puppies with my roommate! Fully experienced with many animals. I have 3 cats and they are my life! Since I work from home they are essentially my whole world. I dedicate most of my free time to them and it’s an honor! They are truly amazing. We start the day with some breakfast and then cuddle time. Then once their stomachs are settled I do play time and tire them out! After this I like to cleanup their litter boxes and eating spaces and change out their water. Then, I move on to my own daily routine but as someone who works from home I tend to take a 5 minute break every hour for some kitty time! If you were my client, I would treat your babies like my own and I am happy to accommodate anything they may need.

About: I have lots of experience caring for pets, especially dogs. I had three dogs growing up and other small animals. I have taken care of many neighbors, friends, and families pets. I have taken care of dogs and cats at the same time and multiple dogs at once. I am a teacher so my availability is mostly on weekends. I can start pet sitting on Friday nights after work. If you are ok with the pet being home all day then I can pet sit any day of the week. I leave for work at 7:45 and usually get off around 4:30pm. I currently don't have any pets in the house so the dogs and cats can feel comfortable staying over. I take dogs out in the yard and monitor them since there is no fence. I love going on long walks with dogs.

About: With over 40 years of experience caring for all kinds of animals - dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fresh and salt water fish, chickens - I’ve seen it all! I have previously worked in a veterinary office and I ran my own small pet sitting business out of my home. I truly love animals and now that my children are grown, I look forward to having the opportunity to work with them again. I currently have 1 dog (a corgi), 2 cats and numerous fish in my own home. I would love to have the opportunity to care for your pets as much as I care for my own. I also have raised three amazing children, all of whom have had a paying or volunteer job involving animals (so I must have done something right!). I look forward to meeting your pets. I am retired, but active. I’d be happy to work with you to figure out a schedule that fits both of our needs. I’m not currently doing overnight stays, but have availability on almost any day you might need. My rescue pup does not play nicely with others, so I’m unable to offer stays in my own home currently, but I’d be thrilled to visit your home for daily walks or enrichment with your pets.

About: For the past three years i’ve worked in a formal dog daycare setting. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes. I have previous experience dog sitting in other people’s homes. I’m currently very flexible and available with my schedule and have plenty of time to care for and spend with your pups! I can provide dog daycare services, walks, drop in visits and dog/house sitting in your home!! I currently do not have any pets in my home. I will treat your home with respect and care. I will always do my best to follow your instructions and make sure your pets needs are met. I am comfortable driving with dogs in the car and am open to any activities your dogs love! Will always be around for pets and playtime!

About: I grew up a household full of a multitude of loving rescue dogs and cats. The pets I have grown up caring for range from week old kittens and pups to senior cats and dogs who need daily medication and extra love and attention. I am well versed on pet care, and have dealt with my share of pet medical emergencies. I have likely seen it all, and feel that I am the perfect candidate to provide care to your furry babies :) I can't wait to meet and care for all sorts of furry friends! I am home for the summer, so I am available most days and nights. I have time throughout my day to stop in and care for your pets, or have planned when I will be free to board a pet in my own home. I have a pet friendly home for boarding, however it must be noted that we currently have three friendly cats at home. Pets wishing to board must be friendly with cats and free from transferrable diseases. I also have a car, so I am able to regularly visit your pets at their own home.

About: Growing up with many animals, including dogs in my home, as well as taking multiple animal education courses in college, has given me the skills to be able to give your pet a safe and fun experience in my hands. I have so much love for animals and I would love to be able to take care of your pets while giving you the reassurance that they’re in good hands. I am currently only focusing on training for basketball this summer, so I will have lots of time to take care of your pups! I have a lot of availability, however, I will be gone for about a week at the end of May and the end of June. Other than that, I am very flexible and will have lots of time to take care of your pets. I have a big fenced in yard where my dogs have the freedom to run around and have fun outside. This could be a space where your dogs play as well if needed. I also have a crate if necessary, and I make sure to walk and play with my pets frequently, so I will definitely do the same with yours.

13. Sophie L.
“Sophie, my younger daughter, is, in my admittedly biased opinion, an exceptionally warm and caring “sibling” to our 5 household cats, and a wonderful, responsible, and loving parent to their own cat, Cersei. Sophie also has extensive experience with dogs, even though we do not have one in our household, having worked for a year at the Monmouth SPCA. At the SPCA, Sophie was responsible for every aspect of pet care, including dog walking, and received specialized training in dog walking and pet care. As far as parenting their own pet, I want to point out that Sophie is not only attentive to Cersei in general, but they are also very attuned to her physical health and extremely quick to act if anything needs to be looked into.”

“I've never met anyone who loves and cares for pets more than Heather. Her previous work experience with dogs made me feel more than comfortable leaving my baby with her. I received photo updates regularly throughout the day and when I returned home, Heather was actively playing with my dog and he was sad to have to leave her. Highly recommend Heather for all your pet needs.”
