During the weekdays, I am only unavailable from 8am-1pm but can do check ins between classes! I will make frequent visits to visit your dogs throughout the day (and night if necessary). During this time, I will ensure that all necessities are met such as feedings, meds, potty time, and playtime. Additionally, I am more than willing to stay overnight to ensure that the dog has the best care possible.

“We absolutely loved having Tia watch our cats. Her updates were so thorough, she played with our cats, and sent many pictures per visit. She even accommodated our shy cat by feeding her under the bed. This was our first experience with Rover and we could not have been happier. Thank you so much Tia!!”

About: Just like many people, I've been surrounded by animals my whole life! I currently share my home with two cats, but l'm just as comfortable and experienced spending time with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from chihuahuas to Great Danes! l've cared for many family and friends pets over the years, including Yorkies, Great Danes, Short Haired Pointers, and especially my sister's Frenchie who is my best bud! I also have worked at a dog kennel where I gained a lot of hands-on experience with all kinds of pups! I learned other essential skills like giving medication when needed, adjusting to play styles and behaviors of dogs, and just overall learned how to handle the many different personalities that come with dogs! When I'm not busy with work or my other hobbies, I like to volunteer at the local animal shelter! Whether it's playtime or just giving the pets some extra love and attention, it’s something I always enjoy and love! I take pride in my pet care where I can promise your pets will be cared for like they're my own! When in my care they will experience plenty of love, play, and of course cuddles! When it comes to pet care, it fits naturally into my daily routine! I work remotely from home, which allows me to have a very flexible schedule where I can take breaks for walks, playtime, or for bathroom breaks! If your pup needs many potty breaks, a walk in the middle of the day, or just some extra attention, I can easily fit it into my routine! When caring for your pets in your home, I always make sure to treat them (and your space!) with the same respect and love that I’d give my own. Whatever your pets routine is, is something I would make sure I stick to so they can feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I would be sure to handle the little things that keep them healthy, such as giving them water and food, giving them medication if needed, cleaning up after them, and taking them for exercise! Most importantly, I would also give them love and attention so they don’t feel lonely and would send updates with pictures so you can feel at ease while you’re gone!

“I couldn’t have asked for a better Rover for my girl Mindil. I have peace of mind every day that Mindil gets the love and care I would give her, while I’m away at work. Christina is super responsive and helpful and leaves the best cards for me to view after each visit. We got very lucky to have found her.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been the primary caregiver for my pups the past 23 years. From house training and socialization to managing energy levels and building trust, I understand what it takes to give pets a loving and structured environment. More than anything, I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m calm, attentive, and always focused on keeping pets safe, happy, and comfortable! I currently work a 9–5 job, so I’m available for evening drop-ins and walks during the week. Open on most weekends! That said, I just had a newborn and will be home all summer, which gives me a flexible daytime schedule for caring for pets and making sure pups get the time and attention they need. I truly love being around animals and enjoy spending my spare time with them—whether it’s a quick walk, a snuggle session, or simply making sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. Whether you have a small pup or a big dog, I’m happy to take them on walks—or if you prefer, we can stay in the yard or play indoors. I’ll follow your preferences to make sure your pet feels secure and cared for. If your pet just needs some company and a buddy for a while, I’m here for that too. During my visits, your pet will be treated like part of the family—loved, respected, and given the attention they deserve in a calm, safe environment.

About: My dad was an animal whisperer, and his passion was gifted to me. Growing up with and being educated on many animals contributed to my ability to connect with and care for them. Family, friends and neighbors knew this and entrusted me to watch over their furry friends during vacations, work shifts and late nights out. My experience includes cleaning and refilling food/water bowls and litter boxes, dog walking and other forms of outdoor activity, and some medicine administration (mainly for cats). One of the best parts of being an adult living on my own terms means I can work the hours I want! This means my schedule is open and flexible mornings, days and nights. I will ensure your pets have a clean environment with all of the essentials like food, water and indoor or outdoor entertainment! Even our furry friends get bored.

About: I have extensive experience with separation anxiety and elderly dogs who have medical needs. I take care of pets the way I would want my pets cared for. I own a cleaning company and have a very flexible schedule. I have a large yard and lots of space for the fur babies to romp and play! I treat them as if they’re members of my family🥰 lots of love, play, attention, and treats! Rest easy knowing your pets are safe and happy in my home!

About: I have a lovely home in St Mary’s County with a fenced in back yard overlooking three acres. My family has always had dogs and it wouldn’t be home without them! We have three friendly beagle mixes, ages 2, 3 and 4. I worked full time for 28 years as a counselor for folks with disabilities and took an early retirement in order to be home for my middle school age son. I love walking and playing with pups, who make our lives much better through their loving companionship. Before our current dogs, I have raised three other family dogs and three cats, a love bird, four parakeets, fish and a bearded dragon! I have pet sat for several friends as well and enjoy it!

Rileigh T.
“Rileigh truly loves dogs, and they seem to love her just as much. She’s grown up with dogs her whole life and has always been one of their main caretakers through every stage. She’s also cared for multiple friends’ dogs while they were on vacation and even has hands-on experience working at a dog boarding kennel during the summers. Rileigh is amazing with my French Bulldog, who can be very stubborn at times, but she’s always so loving, patient, and calm with him and he’s completely obsessed with her in return! She’s taken care of him while we’ve been away, walks him, plays with him, found creative ways to get him to eat, administered his medications, and even cared for him extensively during a tough recovery from a back injury. She’s incredibly responsible, knowledgeable about all types of dogs, and just has a natural way with them. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rileigh to anyone looking for a kind, trustworthy, and loving pet caregiver.”
