“When I picked up Jackson, I was not sure he wanted to leave his vacation with Kathryn and her wonderful family! Sure he was excited to see us, but, then he laid down next to Kathryn as if he was feeling pretty comfortable at her home! She sent photos and write ups daily and this made me feel so much better about leaving him in her care. It was like he knew the family forever! This was the first time we went away without him in 8 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving. I would have no problems leaving him again if I have another opportunity to do so. About: I have a lovely home in St Mary’s County with a fenced in back yard overlooking three acres. My family has always had dogs and it wouldn’t be home without them! We have three friendly beagle mixes, ages 2, 3 and 4. I worked full time for 28 years as a counselor for folks with disabilities and took an early retirement in order to be home for my middle school age son. About: We are a dog loving household with a 8 year old super friendly jack russel of our own who loves playing with other dogs big or small. We both grew up around dogs big and small and love animals. We love going out back to playing catch and going on family walks to the park with the dog. From Mastiff’s to Chihuahuas, I am confident taking care of various different sized dogs with a variety of different dietary needs from raw diets to kibble diets, medical needs from dogs that get medication once a day to dogs that get medication several times a day, and activity needs from dogs that need regular exercise to senior dogs that don’t need to be exercised. I have also had experience handling dogs that are extremely nervous around new people, dogs that can resource guard toys, and dogs that are highly reactive. I am a full-time commuter college student with large gaps between my morning and afternoon classes which I can travel to and from the owners house to let their dogs out and play with during. I can administer any medication that is not via injection, I can cater to a variety of diets ranging from raw meat every day to freshly cooked food three times a day to kibble twice a day depending on the dogs needs, I have personal leashes that I can use or I can use the owners leashes to take the dog on walks as often as request/needed.

Throughout the day I check in on their needs, whether that is playtime, grooming, or just some quiet companionship. Evenings are for winding down together, because pets thrive on consistency and I make sure they always feel settled and secure. This is not something I squeeze into my schedule. It is my schedule. Animals are my priority seven days a week, and that kind of commitment is something every pet owner deserves to know their sitter has. Whether I am in your home or mine, my goal is always the same, to make your pet feel safe, loved, and right at home. I tailor my care to each animal’s personality and routine, because no two pets are alike. When caring for pets in my home, they become part of my daily life. They sleep comfortably, play freely, and receive constant attention throughout the day and night. I keep things calm and nurturing so even nervous or anxious pets can relax and settle in. When visiting clients in their own homes, I follow your pet’s established routine as closely as possible. Familiar surroundings make a big difference, especially for cats and older pets who do best in their own environment. I handle everything from feeding and walks to grooming and cuddle time, so your home stays in order and your pet stays happy. About: I’ve had some type of pet in my household since the age of 3. I was 7 years old when my great grandma got me my first dog (Faith) and I’ve been in love with animals in general ever since! Currently have a 6month year old Yorke/Jack russel of my own! Friends rely on me to watch and take care of their pets all of the time. I’m currently working on call; my schedule is pretty flexible although I do try to pick up hours as much as possible so week to week my availability is different. Boarding with animals overnight is the most frequent shift I can do almost daily. I have a huge yard although it is not fenced, it is blocked from townhomes around it. I am able to walk, feed and play with the dogs. Dogs can be caged if requested as long as cage is given.
About: I have always been a big animal person. I have been pet sitting for friends, family, and acquaintances since I was 13 years old. I have had the privilege of caring for many dogs, cats, and other pets over the years, and I would love the opportunity to care for your pet. I am totally available Monday through Friday all day, most weeks, unless I am out of town for a trip or nannying for a family. I take caring for someone else's pet very seriously. I will always prioritize that animal's safety and care and will remain vigilant when pet sitting or walking to ensure that safety.

“When I picked up Jackson, I was not sure he wanted to leave his vacation with Kathryn and her wonderful family! Sure he was excited to see us, but, then he laid down next to Kathryn as if he was feeling pretty comfortable at her home! She sent photos and write ups daily and this made me feel so much better about leaving him in her care. It was like he knew the family forever! This was the first time we went away without him in 8 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving. I would have no problems leaving him again if I have another opportunity to do so. “Morgan is truly a godsend! I cannot speak more highly about him. I was absolutely desperate to find a boarder for my grandmothers dogs as she had been hospitalized and her heat was not being paid due to memory issues. Our dogs of 10+ years were inside of the house without a caretaker and in a desperate plea for help, Morgan answered. Not only did he answer, but he moved around his schedule to get the dogs out of the house the next day. Due to the severity of the situation they had not been groomed , they were very matted and he even brought them to the groomers and back so that I could focus on an extremely important interview. He also sent lots of photos and videos that I was able to send to my grandmother during her recovery to make her feel better. I am so extremely grateful to have people like Morgan around.
