“Linda was great! She was able to take my boy for the day on less than 24hr notice. She was great with Aspen and took cute photos. I am so happy with his care. I will definitely be using her again!”

“Corey and Monica were very friendly and took great care of Pepper. They sent photos throughout the day which I appreciated. They were accomodating and willing to work with me with some of Peppers anxiety issues. Will definitely be bringing Pepper back for future daycare :)”

About: I have 6 years of experience caring for pets and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family members. I provide attentive, loving, and reliable care while making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications, and plenty of attention and affection. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to make sure they receive individualized care and feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I am currently working full-time, mostly remote with one or two days in the office each month. Working from home gives me plenty of flexibility to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention throughout the day. I’m also happy to accommodate each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I provide a calm, attentive environment and carefully follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, medications, walks, routines, or special needs.
“My dog had a wonderful overnight stay! They were well cared for, happy, and relaxed when I picked them up. Great communication throughout, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pup in their hands. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!”

“Connie was amazing with Thor! Besides being available last minute, she went above and beyond. She has a super warm personality and made Thor feel at ease right away. He was so happy to run around in her yard. She even packed some homemade treats for him to take home! She was just fantastic and I highly recommend. We will absolutely reach out again when we need help with our pup.”

About: I’ve been caring for my family pets since I was in middle school and have 13 years of experience doing at-home dog boarding. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes from yorkies to Great Danes, and love creating a cozy, safe environment for them while their owners are away. I have also had a lovable, goofy dog of my own for 7 years now, so I understand how important it is to trust your pet is well taken care of. :) My husband and I have been doing Rover for about 2 years now and have a good routine for playtime and evening walks with pets! While I work in the city, my husband works from home, so he provides love and care all day. Our dogs as well as our visiting pets love to hang out in his office with him between playing outside and getting treats. :) Whether your pet is coming into my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I prioritize their comfort, routine, and happiness. I default to your preferences for feeding schedules, exercise, play time, and any crating preferences. This way your pet feels with their usual routine!

“Nina Love Cindy and her family since the first day. Nina felt at home and she was excited to see Cindy the next days. Cindy maintained communication with us a couple of days before the booking and she sent me a couple of updates every day. She took Nina for walks, plays in the park and she went above and beyond while taking care of Nina. We and my family enjoyed our vacation time knowing Nina was in good hands. If you’re in the area or live in the area and you want your pet to be safe and taken care of I recommend you Cindy. Thank you again!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Coltons Point commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
