About: I have always was an animal lover. Growing up, I took care of three birds (parakeet & cockateil), two dogs, rabbits, bearded dragons and fish. I helped sit for our dogs when my parents were away visiting my sister and so on. I currently am the proud parent of a 1 year old german shepherd mix. I work full time and I am available in the afternoons and evenings (anytime after 3:30) and weekends and select holidays (ie work for SMCPS). I am the proud parent of a 2 year old rambunctious german shepherd mix. He loves to play with other puppies. We have a yard to so they can play.

About: I have been taking care of all kinds of animals my whole life. It started with friends and family and I was referred to more and more people. This isn’t a job for me, but more so something that brings me joy and has always been a passion of mine. For some pets I would only need to check on them a couple times a day, and others were in my full time care for an extended period of time. I’ve mostly watched dogs and cats for others but I do have experience with other types of animals. My house was a jungle growing up- we had snakes, geckos, dogs, rabbits, gerbils, turtles, and fish. Currently I am employed at The Pet Lodge, a boarding, daycare, training, and grooming facility. We are possibly moving to PA or VA towards the end of the year of 2024. My fiancé works from home, and on base some days, so there is almost always somebody home whether it be me or him. There are certain holidays that we travel back home to Wisconsin for, but other than that, we are usually free! We have a big house with a pretty big backyard that is unfenced. We currently have a three year old border collie who is still training but can give your pets all the playtime and love that they need. Our deck was gated off to allow our dogs to be outside without running off, but recently it has broke. We also have a in ground stake and leashes to allow our dogs to hang out in the yard. Since I am employed, I am able to take dog walks anytime on my off days, and on my breaks from 12-2pm on days I work. I can also help with training since we are currently doing so with our dog. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and/or close off certain rooms to keep the dogs separate. Any animals that I watch get our full time attention, meaning plenty of playtime, love, exercise, and training if needed. I can be very flexible depending on the needs of your pet.

“Ashley is an extremely passionate person for animals and humans. Ashley works full-time as a Paramedic and has dogs, cats, chickens, and a bunny at home that she cares deeply about. Her passion for not only her animals, but other's as well is amazing.”
17. Breanna K.
“Bree is always very attentive with my animals. We have 2 large Airedales and 3 cats. Bree spends time with each of them. She loves the cats as much as we do. She plays with the dogs and walks them around our neighborhood. We never have any concerns when Bree is watching our crew. They get any medications they may need when they are scheduled and PLENTY of treats and love. I would highly recommend Bree for whatever needs you have...daily walking, out of town overnight care, a rainy, stormy day if your pet just needs someone to sit with them for an hour or so.”
18. Paul P.
“I have known Paul for years. He is a great animal lover and has taken care of many pets. He has experience with cats, dogs, fish turtles, and rabbits. He has personally taken care of my cat and provided her with excellent care while I was gone.”

About: I have a lovely home in St Mary’s County with a fenced in back yard overlooking three acres. My family has always had dogs and it wouldn’t be home without them! We have three friendly beagle mixes, ages 2, 3 and 4. I worked full time for 28 years as a counselor for folks with disabilities and took an early retirement in order to be home for my middle school age son. I love walking and playing with pups, who make our lives much better through their loving companionship. Before our current dogs, I have raised three other family dogs and three cats, a love bird, four parakeets, fish and a bearded dragon! I have pet sat for several friends as well and enjoy it!

About: Love pets, and care for them like your baby. My kids also have dogs and chickens and birds, and cats, we are a pet family too. Safely Transported if need be. Fenced back yard plus leashed when needed. I like to carefully meet the cat 🐈 slowly. Then as they get use to me then I can pet and play with them also. I may have to comfort your baby until they get use to us. Slowly introduce them. Then they can get along with each other and play.
