About: I offer personalized, one-on-one care in a calm home environment—no kennels, just comfort. Your dog will be free to roam, lounge on furniture, and enjoy peaceful walks around town on the beaches or golf cart trail. I am home full-time, so your pup will be supervised and loved around the clock! We have a semi-fenced yard that gives dogs plenty of outdoor time, and for added safety and freedom, we use a secure lead and a heavy-duty stake rated for dogs up to 125 lbs. It’s perfect for supervised sunbathing, sniffing around, and soaking up the breeze. My partner also plays a big role in making your dog feel welcome. He works locally and loves greeting our furry guests when he’s home. In the evenings, we often take relaxed family walks with our dog, Willow—a gentle, friendly lab mix who’s great at helping new dogs settle in. With experience caring for puppies, seniors, and everything in between, I’m attentive to medication schedules, gentle leash guidance, and crate comfort (I have both soft and hard crates available if your dog prefers the comfort of their own dedicated sleeping space). I’m deeply intuitive to dog behavior and always prioritize safety and a stress-free stay. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds—from dachshunds to huskies, pitties, rottweilers, shepherds, and small companions—and I truly love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. You’ll receive updates and photos throughout your pet’s stay. Whether your dog needs extra snuggles, a cozy recovery spot, or space to play and explore, we provide a custom care experience that feels like a true doggy vacation! Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I work from home full-time, so I'm always available to supervise and care for your dog throughout the day—whether that means playtime, potty breaks, spontaneous walkies, or just companionship. Our resident pupper, Willow, keeps things lively and helps visiting dogs feel right at home. In the mornings, we enjoy a walk or some time in the yard using our secure lead and 125-lb rated stake setup. Throughout the day, your pup can lounge indoors on the couch or bed, hang out with me while I work, and get lots of love and attention. Weekends are even more flexible, with plenty of time for longer outdoor breaks and extra cuddles. Caring for pets isn’t a task I fit in—it’s part of our everyday lifestyle. My home is pet friendly and we have a dog ottoman, our back yard is partially fenced but we have a stake rated for 125lb dogs with a 50ft lead in the front and back of the house. For dogs who feel more secure in their own space, I offer both soft and hard crate options for overnight comfort.

“Kimberly was great with Chase as always! She's great at communicating with us, both when things are going great and when things come up and some flexibility is needed. Her concern for Chase is the first priority and we really appreciate that. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was little, around 11 years old, but have lived with cats since I was 2 years old. I do have a senior cat, and ferret. Im experienced in giving cats, dogs and ferrets medication for health issues they have had in the past. I’m not expert in everything, but I’m not afraid to learn! I’m currently working full time, but enjoy a busy schedule and a good routine. If I need a specific day off, I can work it out. I’ve been working since I was 14, it has made me more responsible, reliable, and determined. I have two cats, and one ferret, I'm fully responsible for them. I take care of their daily care, vet visits, trim their nails, give them baths, and everything in between. They have been under my care for more than 5 years. I’ve had experience with rodents, birds, and dogs.

“Sue was great! Came in and got our shy dog out for their first walk together. Walked a little extra since the dog didn’t seem ready to go inside! We will absolutely be using Sue again!”

About: I've had many pets over the years, from dogs and cats to other very exotic animals. I've helped take care of many friends' dogs, and I am qualified to make sure your pets stay safe while you're away. I'm currently a full time student with a part time job at a local ( dog friendly ) brewery. I have full availability to take care of your pet all day, every day. I have a very large open yard, however I never walk anyone's dog without a leash and full supervision. Your pets will be treated very well under full supervision and with any personal instructions if need be.

About: Hello I am Maura! I grew up in a very large family and we always had a dog. I have had four dogs of my own. I have done pet sitting and fostering for families, friends and a dog rescue organization. My husband and I are passionate dog lovers with 30 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages. I'm reliable, responsible, and dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment for your furry family member. I’ve always been drawn to dogs and spent years volunteering for a dog rescue organization where I gained valuable experience in caring for dogs with a variety of needs. My husband volunteered with me and together we made several trips down south in a large van to rescue puppies from puppy mills or older dogs scheduled to be euthanized for sitting in shelter too long. I offer in-home pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-ins, and I'm happy to administer medication, provide playtime, and ensure your dog's comfort and well-being. I have a strong understanding of dog behavior and am happy to provide personalized care based on your dog's individual needs. My hasband and I are both home every day. I am available to care for dogs day or night. We are very active and include dogs in out daily life alone the Potomac River. Spending time in the yard and walking around the neighborhood are part of my daily routine. My home is pet friendly with a large, fenced yard. Dogs are treated as family members. I am open minded and will listen carefully to any specific instructions provided to me for your furry friend.

About: I have taken care of pets since age 10. Best part of my day is talking a walk or snuggling with a fur baby, one or yours! If they need exercise, to be on leash, or elder and need in stroller. Safety is important

About: I have worked at a dog boarding kennel/shelter for over two years where I have gained a huge amount of skills and experience caring for dogs. On a daily basis I walk, feed, medicate, bathe, clean up after, and cuddle with dogs of every size and temperament. Additionally, I've worked at farms and owned quite a few fur-babies of my own so I'm quite comfortable caring for all sorts of animals including cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, fish, chickens, parrots, horses, goats, donkeys, and more! I am currently on summer break and only working part time so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets! I will carefully follow any instructions you give me and can provide a huge variety of services from walking to bathing, playing fetch, cuddling, medicating, and more. I would love to help take care of your furry friends while you're away, and I will always make sure they are given the best care possible, and of course lot's of love.

“Thank you Kindra for being my savior! You stepped up last minute for me, twice now, and I greatly appreciate it. I trust my fur baby with you, and am grateful for what you do.”

“Alex has been our dog walker since I returned to the office full time in March and has been amazing. Our dog loves her, she goes above and beyond while she walks her, and she is an excellent communicator. I couldn’t recommend her enough!”

About: Hi! I’m Charlie and I’d be honored to help you with your pet needs. I have fostered 17 dogs, mostly seniors, from mid-size to xl and a whole range of breeds, temperaments and quirks! I understand that each dog has their own unique personality and have become adept at reading dog body language and helping them feel safe and comfortable with me. I have had my beautiful fur buddy (pictured) for 12 glorious years, together we have gone through puppy socialization classes and dog obedience training, (not to mention a transatlantic flight, 3 house moves & 5 deployments). He is a 12yo German shepherd, who has taught me how to be a kind, patient leader and how to work with headstrong, intelligent dogs. In 2022 the universe decided we needed another dog and we ended up with Blitz, a Siberian husky that has had a very hard life, after the family we were fostering him for decided they didn’t want him back and we couldn’t find anyone in the market for a “husky with issues”. Growing up with 2 dogs and 3 cats I am most happy when I can share space with animals. I have previous experience with dog walking and house visits for cats. I would love to meet, become friends with and help out with your fur-friend and will take care of them with diligence, love and joy. I look forward to meeting your family! I am available for dog walking and house calls weekdays, between 9.30-3. Weekends and evening walks and house visits can be arranged on an individual basis. We live on 8 wooded acres, perfect for exercise and olfactory stimulation for your pup. I have two senior pups that are used to sharing their space with other dogs and two respectful children that love dogs whilst also being great at respecting their boundaries (they have experienced all manner of foster dogs with their varied personalities and needs). I can accommodate crating if necessary but as I am home most of the day it is unlikely they will be crated unless you specifically request it. I don’t have a fenced yard, so if your dog is an escape artist then our space may not be best for them, but for most dogs this just means fun stimulating walks, instead of yard time. We do plan to add a fenced area in the future.

About: I've dedicated many years to caring for pets, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve. My experience extends beyond my own furry companions, as I've also helped friends by looking after their pets. This involvement has deepened my passion for animals, allowing me to understand their various needs and personalities. Whether it's walking dogs, feeding cats, or providing a comforting presence, I've always found joy and fulfillment in these responsibilities. I'm currently working part time so I have a lot of spare time to care for pets. I'm available on any days and hours I'm not scheduled to work. I will 100% monitor outside potty breaks and play time and use a leash and harness for outside walks. I fallow all guidlines given to me by a customer in their home along with keeping open communication at all times (which means I could be reached at any moment).
