About: I have had many different kinds of dogs since I was a kid, but the big ones are my favorite :) I received training in positive reinforcement for dogs and taught classes at Petsmart throughout college. I work from home 3 days per week and am available on weekends for regular drop in visits or boarding at my house, with a fenced in yard. We recently lost our black lab so I would be happy to love on your fur babies. I have a fenced backyard and love going on walks! We have a park near our house with a walking trail as well.

About: Ive taken care of many pets with specialized needs. This includes routine medicine and eye drops for the elderly, frequent belly band changes changes for those with bladder issues, and calming treats for those fearful of storms. Im quick to learn each dogs bathroom tells to avoid any unwanted accidents. I also have fishkeeping experience with 2 freshwater fish tanks at home. So if youre fish needs feeding or water quality checks I can handle that was well. I am currently working a part time internship with flexible hours, which allows me to care for furry babies in my free time! Weekends are typically busy, however with enough notice I can make them work. House rules are always respected, no matter how much a dog wants couch cuddles or if the cat likes the view from on top of the counter.

You’ll receive as many updates, photos, and videos as you’d like, so you always know what your pet is doing and how they are feeling. If I notice any concerning changes in their health or behavior, I’ll contact you promptly.

About: I have an immense love for pets, dogs especially! I have some experience being with family dogs and I have a 3 year old fur baby myself, who is a Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise mix. I take note of dog's body language, when they are tense and whenever they are ready to play. I have experience on how I should help a dog in the case they have trouble breathing. I especially love to bond and play with dogs! I ensure that your dogs are going to safe and have the best experiences with me!🤗 I'm currently working part-time, so I would have plenty of time to be with your fur babies! I am typically free on the weekdays from Monday to Friday. The earliest I can do a scheduled appointment for around 8 hours. My time ranges from the earliest at 8am and the latest at 9pm. In my home, I get rid of any harmful items on the ground or in sight of my pet. I clean my pet's bowl daily. I make sure to keep them company. I never leave them unsupervised for long hours. For your pet I will adhere to any strict feeding or medicine routines and communicate quick updates.

About: I have been around animals for nearly all of my life, and have made it my life mission to assure the care and comfort of as many of them that come into my path as possible. As a former senior level kennel worker at a doggy daycare, a previous small animal specialist at various retail stores, and with animal shelter volunteer hours under my belt, I am surely qualified and would be elated to take care of your babies when you’re either away or have other priorities to focus on. As of a few months ago, I was working full time at a doggy daycare in Hughesville, where I fed, bathed, walked, and played with clients dogs all day. For over 2 years I was one of our two Senior staff members, meaning that I was also responsible for running the daily staff and assuring the safety and security of the pets at the facility. My additional duties included keeping track of feeding schedules, medication, and potty breaks to ensure the health of the animals as well. I love animals with all of my heart, as it is my life mission to assure each animal that crosses my path gets the maximum amount of care and love that I can give them (even if that’s just a head pat for a baby passing by!!) I currently do not work full time at the moment, as my priorities have shifted toward finishing my college degree at UMD, most of which is online, giving me more than enough time in my schedule to care for animals that I would be responsible for, whether that be feeding, walking, petting, or all of the above! I also am comfortable with house-sitting with the animals, and have had plenty of experience doing so. I typically very early mornings, and am awake until around 11, but that can always be adjusted per need request. Personally, my dog always came to my work with me where he was able to be around me for the majority of the day. When we are home, he is walked before my morning coffee, and every 4 hours after that. I have a pretty decent sized yard, and he loves playing fetch with any ball when we aren’t on walks. My baby only likes to eat at nighttime, so that’s when he is fed, as he is a small boy who would prefer to leave his food alone during the day. Understanding each individual dog, not only what nutrients they require, but how exactly they should eat as well, is very important. When we are not walking on a leash or playing in the yard, he is inside my home where we play with his favorite plushie toys! Come afternoon time, he gets one, out of a selection of delicious treats to assure his happiness and comfort throughout the day. Whatever way that the client prefers, I would assure the same level of happiness and comfort with their dog too!

I work full time Monday through Friday, so my availability is 5 PM–10 PM on weekdays, with open availability on weekends. I’m happy to provide treats with your approval, and I prefer traveling to your home so your pet can stay in a familiar environment. Baths can be given upon request. My husband watches our animals while I am away housesitting, they would not come with me to any of my bookings. I work about 15 hours out of the home each week but other than that I am always home. I have 4 dogs of my own, 3 birds, and 2 hedgehogs so taking care of animals is something I enjoy doing. I recently adopted 2 hedgehogs and I hope to keep growing my animal family in the future. I don't have kids and my husband also assists with animal care when needed (the dogs are my kids let's be honest). When I am boarding dogs at my home, they are one of my family and do the same things my dogs are doing. I take everyone outside frequently and I am always throwing a ball or playing tug of war with someone. If I'm napping, the dogs are on the bed with me napping too. Usually everyone is pretty happy to be lounging on the couch or following me around the house while I do my chores. I have a large fenced in yard that I prefer to use to exercise dogs and take them to potty. I am happy to walk dogs around the neighborhood if they need the extra exercise but I do require that the dog has a well fitting harness. Some dogs are master escape artists from their collars/harnesses (little houdinis), so if this is the case for your dog we will be playing inside my fenced in yard instead. My fence is about 6 feet tall so if your dog is capable of jumping higher than this please let me know when booking.
