About: I have 10 years of experience training dogs, and am the lead trainer for Tricks For Treats dog training here in Jacksonville. In the past 5 years I have been dogsitting, walking, and performing drop in visits for clients and maintain a 5 star rating on TFTJ’s Google page! I have experience with all kinds of temperaments and dog behaviors- and work with pups on a daily basis. Working with dogs isn’t just my career, it’s my passion! My full time career involves dogs! Training, walking, sitting, and drop-in visits are what I do daily. I own and operate Tricks For Treats dog training and services here in Jacksonville, and maintain a 5-Star rating on Google & Yelp! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am insured and have both an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluators Certificate and Red Cross Canine First Aid Certificate, and am the Lead Trainer at Tricks For Treats. I have vast experience with all kinds of pups, am very knowledgeable on aggression, resource guarding and how to manage more complicated pups. I always appreciate an easy keeper, but am totally up for a challenge!

About: Growing up, we always had pets. I have lots of family and friends all with multiple pets, I love getting to know all of their individual personalities and how to take the best possible care of each one. My dog is 14 years old, blind, and diabetic. So I have plenty experience with dogs of all ages and some special needs. I currently work full time during the week but I’m looking forward to taking care of your pets so you can relax on a weekend getaway. I can also be available for later evening walks during the week if you get stuck at work late! My dog is blind so she goes absolutely nowhere without me keeping a close eye on her. She’s very old and very much depends on her daily routine.

“Crystal is great! We’ve been using her to pet sit for about a year now. She is friendly and very communicative and she takes great care of our very senior dog and cats”

“Michael took great care of Phil & Penni while I was away, and will be taking care of them again over the Easter holiday weekend.”

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being are my top priorities. I create a peaceful, grounded environment where animals feel secure and cared for, whether I’m stepping into their space or welcoming them into mine. With years of hands-on experience, especially with senior pets and those needing medication, I bring a calm, attentive presence that animals quickly respond to. You can trust that I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same respect, gentleness, and responsibility I give my own. My goal is to bring peace of mind—knowing your pets are not just safe, but genuinely cared for.

“Sarah was awesome with my cat! Super friendly, reliable, clean and asking if any additional help needed. I loved getting little updates while I was away—it gave me total peace of mind. Definitely would have her pet sit again!”

About: Life long animal lover. Cat owner since Elementary school. Currently have 3. All different breeds. I have experience with dogs too as I used to have 2 Labs. I often dog sit for my friends on weekends so figured I'd give this a go as well. Love meeting new pets I have lots of free time on the weekends and love going on walks whether its hot or cold. Most evenings in my work week are free. Pretty flexible if there are some pop up opportunities. I just love hanging out with animals in my free time. Cat wise: I am very careful to not let any cats out of the house. I know some can be escape artists. Lots of practice there. I will sit patiently for more timid cats to warm up to me. I typically won't pick them up at first or pet their bellies. I usually get my friends cats to warm up to me quickly and get them playing soon enough. Will cater to the cats that like drinking from the faucet too. Dog wise: I am ready to meet their energy and go on some fun walks. Will even be down to jog with them if they have a lot of energy. I'm cautious about food allergies so I will make sure I only give treats that are allowed and be patient to make sure they go to the bathroom during our visit. They will get all the pets they need!

“Emily was a great sitter and helped me a ton with my dog! Great communication great job and I’d absolutely rebook/recommend her services.”

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have always had a passion for them. I’m so passionate, in fact, that I’m in my gap year before I start veterinary school next year! I have fostered over 20 dogs, so I am familiar and comfortable with a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. I am currently the mom to a 1 year old dog and a senior dog, so I have first hand experience on the different needs and requirements for a happy and healthy dog! Additionally, I have personal experience in beginner puppy training, senior care, and handling reactive dogs. I am available 7 days a week at all hours. I just moved to Jacksonville a few weeks ago so am hoping Rover can help me meet some furry friends and create forever bonds! As a dog mom, I know first hand the anxiety that comes with having someone watch your pets, so I make sure to provide plenty of pictures, videos, and updates. I am very active and love to be outside so I can take your dog on as many (or as few) walks/runs as they want! Or if your dog isn’t active, we can chill in the AC! Due to my flexible schedule, I can provide both dog walking services and house sitting services (as well as overnight visits if needed)! My schedule allows for me to make your dogs comfort and safety my #1 priority! Due to having a reactive dog myself, I do not allow your animals in my own home for your dog’s safety and comfort! I am very tidy and organized, so I will treat your home with respect, and leave it cleaner than I found it!

“Kristie looked after out pit-mix and cat for a weekend and was fantastic. She was gracious and asked great questions during our initial meet and greet. She gave us updates and pics throughout the weekend. She was such a calm presence for our animals while we were away. Our home was clean and looked great, when we returned. We would definitely rebook with her. Thank you Kristie!”

“Mandy did a fantastic job caring for my dog, Zippy. He’s an older gentleman who loves his snuggles, and she was the perfect match for him. She kept me updated with photos throughout the 7 days she stayed with him, which meant so much to me. Mandy was also incredibly reliable, making sure Zippy received all his medications promptly and without any issues. If I could give her 100 stars, I absolutely would. She was truly excellent!”

About: I've been surrounded by dogs my entire life since I was 8 years old. My first ever dog was a shihtzu named Dexter. I've cared for my cousin's 2 dogs (Rottweiler and Great dane. Ive also taken care of a kitten newborn for 4 month as well. I would say that I have a variety of experience from working with small and larger dogs. Im dependable and can follow any specific instructions (if any). I have a very open schedule so if you or your pet need me in a moments notice I can be there! Im currently a part time student at Jacksonville University with a lot of time on my hands and one class im working on during this summer break. So my availability is very open. I can adapt to each animal's specific needs when taking care of animals in clients' homes. If the animal is more active I'm more than happy to play with them indoors or outdoors (depending on the owner's preference). This also applies vice versa. I'm able to take the dog out for plenty of potty breaks and can accommodate to your animal's needs.

“Megan is fantastic! This was my first time using Rover and I was nervous. My cat has health issues and I wanted someone to stay overnight with her while I was away. Megan met with me before the booking started. When I met her, I immediately had peace of mind. While I was gone, Megan frequently sent updates and pictures (even though Mia hid the whole time). I was able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing Mia was being well taken care of. I won’t be planning any travel until Mia is feeling better but I am so happy that if I do need to travel I have an excellent sitter!”

“I would highly recommend Alyssa for the position of dog caregiver. Alyssa is an extremely responsible person and I consider her one of the most trustworthy young people that I know. This is illustrated by the fact that my wife and I allow her unfettered access to our residence when we are not there. Over the past five years has spent countless hours at my residence interacting with my 13 yr old chocolate lab and she has shown herself to be a compassionate dog lover.”
