“I booked JaRavia at the last minute, and she was incredibly flexible with scheduling a meet-and-greet. During the boarding, she was patient and understanding with my shy dog, Bear, who can be a bit distant. She checked in frequently, and by the end of the visit, Bear had started to trust her. I highly recommend JaRavia for her kindness and love of animals!”

About: As someone whos had pets, and taken care of friends pets. Ranging from big babies like pitbulls, to feisty orange cats. I've seen it all, and best thing you can do is love them unconditionally cause they do it for us. And that's why I'm enrolled into college to be a veterinarian. Now if you would like for me to train them, I can handle things from regular tricks to patience and management control. For walking services open from 11am-7pm (Sun-Friday) Not Saturdays! Do provide information on theirr eating habits diet restocks and allergies, if set for an appointment I offer walking, feeding, bathing services, all based on the dog. As long as their is clear communicated with what's in their schedule and diet restrictions are. But do keep in mind I prefer to Petsit at the persons residence because mine isn't eligible.
“Hailey took wonderful care of my pets and home while I was out of town. My two pups were happy and Hailey took great care to make sure their days were as close to normal as possible. We will definitely have her sit for us again in the future!”

“Mariah was an excellent communicator and my dog loves her. She ended up needing to modify our reservation, but still ensured my pup was still well cared for throughout the stay.”

About: Lifelong dog and cat lover with over two years of professional experience in a veterinary clinic setting. By combining medical knowledge, including symptom tracking and medication administration, with a friendly attentive approach built from raising family pets and pet sitting for friends and family alike. I am committed to keeping dogs happy, healthy, and active while providing owners with absolute peace of mind. My schedule is structured to ensure pets receive a massive amount of high-quality time and attention. I am an early riser, allowing plenty of time every morning for thorough feeding, fresh water resets, and energetic play sessions. After my workday, my entire evening is completely dedicated to companionship, grooming, and winding down together. My job is highly predictable, meaning I am never late for routines, and I am always home for overnight stays. There is more than enough time in my day to ensure your pet is happy, deeply cared for, and never lonely. I will treat your home like a professional environment and your pet like family. Because I am highly detail oriented, I strictly adhere to your precise care instructions. I will review physical comfort, monitoring appetite, and tracking litter box habits. Help engaging your pet with structured play and mental stimulation. And just as importantly your home security by double-checking locked doors, sending detailed photo updates as requested, as well as being quick and promptly with replies these all make me a great choice for owners who want stress-free care while they are away.
About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I have a Great Pyrenees of my own, so I'm comfortable caring for large, powerful breeds that need confidence, patience, and consistency. I also have experience with Pit Bulls and understand that every dog is unique and deserves individualized care based on their personality and needs. Whether your dog is energetic, laid-back, shy, or strong on the leash, I focus on providing safe, dependable, and loving care. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule because I own and operate my own online businesses, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I can often accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Because I set my own hours, I'm able to provide reliable care and give pets the time and attention they deserve rather than trying to fit them around a traditional 9-to-5 job. My flexibility also makes it easier to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I'm happy to meet whatever your pet's needs are. Whether that means feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, administering medication (if needed), or simply providing companionship, I'll follow your instructions carefully to help keep your pet comfortable and stress-free. I believe consistency is important, so I'll do my best to maintain your pet's normal routine while you're away. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care that I would my own, and I'm always happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Diana was wonderful watching Barney for a house sit when I was out of town for a few days. She provided very frequent updates with pictures and my home was in the same condition if not nearer than when I left..”

About: I’ve cared for all animals big and small for as long as I can remember. Growing up my mom worked for the SPCA of Brevard and we had over 13 cats, an iguana, a tarantula and a pit mix. I specialized in animal body language courses during my time volunteering at the SPCA. l fostered and trained blind, deaf and non-dog friendly pups, learned how to administer medication on dogs and cats, walked intake doggos and helped during feedings. My first job out of high school was dog grooming so I have plenty of experience in washing, drying and checking for any injuries and for ticks and flees. I love every pet as if they were my own and can’t wait to meet yours! I work bartending nights during the week 5pm-2am and I am off during Monday, Tuesdays and Friday’s, I am always able to bring fur babies to work if needed! I have a fenced in back yard, a 3 yr old husky to keep your pup entertained as well as a dog friendly work environment! Our home has crates and plenty of space for separate feedings and time apart if you pup gets easily anxious! We allow our dog on our couches/beds so we are always open for extra cuddles!
“Millie did such an amazing job watching my babies! I had one that was a little unsure and she took extra time to make him comfortable. He now loves her! I would highly recommend her. She treats them like her own and gives them lots of love. Will definitely use again!”

“Patsy watched both of our pups (6 year old golden retriever and 9 month old puppy) for the first time this past weekend. We were very happy and impressed with her level of devotion and care for our fur babies. She sent pictures and short videos of them frequently each day, and verbal reports on their status, which was very informative and reassuring to us. She had no difficulty administering medication to our golden retriever who is currently undergoing chemo treatments. And she took both pups on daily walks, which was great! We will no doubt ask for her services again, when needed! We highly recommend her!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cocoa West
We booked Kadence for a full week while we were away on a 7‑day cruise, and she exceeded every expectation. Kadence kept the house spotless, which was such a gift to come home to after traveling. She didn’t just “watch” our dogs; she engaged with them. She played with them every day, made adorable dog‑friendly popsicles they absolutely loved, and sent tons of photos that kept us smiling throughout our trip. It was clear from every update that our pups were happy, entertained, and genuinely cared for. Her communication was consistent and thoughtful, and her attention to detail made the whole experience stress‑free. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. If you’re looking for someone who treats your dogs like family and your home with respect, Kadence is the one. We’ll absolutely be booking her again.

Shannon is fabulous as always. Bentley had a poopi accident and she took the time to clean. When she housesits she cleans and takes out the trash as well for me. She’s very tidy. Very communicative and sends me updates throughout the day on Bentley. I appreciate her very much and will use her services again.

Susanna was amazing with my (sometimes shy) pup! She kept me updated with messages and pictures, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. My dog can be a little nervous meeting new people, but Susanna was so patient—she got down on her level and let her warm up at her own pace. Before long, my girl was wagging and cuddling like they’d known each other forever. Came home to a happy, relaxed dog and a tidy house! Will absolutely book Susanna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter.

This was our first time having Logan stay with our pups and cat and will not be the last. She was amazing and brought me great peace of mind knowing our fur babies were being well cared for while we were away. Thank you Logan and we look forward to having you again!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Cocoa West walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Cocoa West maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cocoa West choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
