A few days before, Lauren stopped by our apartment to receive our key and meet our pup. She brought a notebook to write down all instructions / important notes. Her demeaning was soft and positive, and already we knew she was a great fit. On the day of our leave, Lauren was in regular correspondence about her timing and about activities with our girl. About: I’ve done pet sitting for family and friends for the last 4 years as well as worked two years at a boarding and daycare kennel, and have a few months of veterinary experience. I’m currently working part time, so I have weekends and my evenings after work open for dog walking, potty breaks, or boarding stays. My availability will vary weekly. I have a nice fenced yard free of anything that could cause harm. I lap have a sweet Australian shepherd who loves to play. I am able to crate your dog if needed.

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors and family dogs. Ive taken care of many other dogs on Rover as well and I’ve never had an issue. We love dogs and we can’t get enough. Currently we both work full time but we also work from home and have our days staggered so our dogs are never left home alone. We live in a condo and have a nice little backyard and doggy door for the dogs to go in and out whenever they want. After work we take them on long walks. There’s a also a dog park near by where we like to take our dogs.

About: I love being around animals, especially dogs! Had dogs since I was 5 years old. My availabilities are flexible so feel free to always reach out. About: I grew up with dogs and have fostered and cared for dozens of senior dogs at Muttville in SF. I also just said goodbye toy wonderful foster fail 2 Chainz who crossed the rainbow bridge in November. I live close to a lovely park with a great community of dog walkers. I have experience with puppies, elderly dogs (17 years) and pit bulls. I work from home so all dogs get constant attention! I prioritize time outside and walks. “Sarah was the best dog sitter we've ever had! We've only left Sadie for more than a week a few times in her life and I was nervous because she's old and was on antibiotics. About: I’m a Registered Nurse by profession with 25+ years of experience ( most of that as a Labor & Delivery nurse) and I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was about 10 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have always relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their beloved pets. Then I was lucky enough to call one dog my own for 12 years. She showed up as a stray one day and my life has been changed for the better ever since. Sadly she passed away a few years ago. Because my life makes it hard to commit full time to another dog I nowadays rather dogsit someone else’s precious pet. Like yours ! I’m currently working from home part time and have plenty of time to play with your dog and go on long walks. I miss those walks since I lost my own dog ! Your dog is welcome to roam my entire home as well as my deck which is overlooking the water in Ballena Bay in Alameda, as well as my private, closed in courtyard.

“Sarah is absolutely amazing! We have three dogs, one with orthopedic issues, one that is quite exuberant, and one that is nervous around new people. Sarah was patient with our introduction routine, and put our nervous dog at ease almost instantly. She was also great with coming to walk the dogs a few times, to make sure things continued to go smoothly, before staying with them while we were out of town. Our pack can be a handful, which often makes it hard to feel like we can leave them in someone else’s care, but we were never worried about Sarah! While we were gone, Sarah’s frequent updates were so wonderful and reassuring. We could see that the pups were really fond of her company, even Calvin gave her some of his much-coveted attention! She handled all the individualized instructions with ease, and was great about getting everyone out during breaks in the rainy weather. She was also so attentive, noticing that our dog Charlotte’s brace was rubbing, and giving us a heads up. We can’t wait to continue working with Sarah in the future. She’s a lifesaver!”

I live in a house with a fenced in backyard and roommates who would love on your fur baby as much as I would. WE LOVE DOGS IN THIS HOUSE! ^_^ Growing up I lived with dogs and even breed a litter of Rottweilers a few years ago. I gave them all of the shots required. During your fur baby stay with me I will require you to medicate them on fleas and ticks. I will also require the food you feed them, and some toys though I will have some on hand myself. Can't wait to meet your fur baby!! I am a working professional that loves animals! I will begin by feeding then going to the potty after that we will go on a long walk or hike. I have a friendly dog Brumhildas and an hamster Cocoa. I have a backyard to play with your fur baby and a park that we can drive to or walk to.

About: Personally, I have lived with and cared for pets all of my life. As an adult I have pet sat for family and friends since 2002. I have house-sat and pet-boarded professionally since June 2020. I also offer pet visits and dog walking. I can house/pet sit as far north as Ukiah, and most other areas of the bay. Please contact me. I'm currently studying plant-based nutrition and animal advocacy from home, so I can work my educational schedule around your and your companion's needs on a daily and weekly basis. I have a fenced yard with plenty of shade for sunny weather. There is a small pool, that can be blocked off if necessary, but as I have a small pug, dogs are always supervised when in the yard. Many dogs are more comfortable in their own homes, and I do my best to stick to their usual routines for their comfort.
