âThis was our first time leaving town and leaving our kittens at home with our senior cat, and Stefanie made the whole experience so much easier for us. She was very patient with all of our instructions and communication, kept us updated with follow-ups, and most importantly, gave our cats lots of love and attention. About: To start off, I grew up with dogs and catsâ and am very good at reading body language. I have been cat and dog sitting since the age of twelve, and as of 1 year ago have over 200 hours of volunteering at Sonoma County Animal Services. There I walk, feed, play with, and clean dogs and cats of all kind. So I am very qualified and would love a chance to take care of your furry friends! I have flexible hours as my classes are coming to an end, I can discuss times that will work for me but overall am open to working out a set schedule! I have two dogs and one cat, they are taken care of very well. As mentioned before I also volunteer with dogs and cats and have seen about every type of behavior a person can think ofâ I am a very responsible and kind person and pride myself on how trustworthy I am.
About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, Iâve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people donât understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic petâs diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I wonât consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if theyâre not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We donât expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as âscaryâ or âmeanâ, youâve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. Because no pet is perfect, but they are perfect for you. My promise to you is that I will do my best to be your babyâs new BFF. No pet sitter will truly replace you, but I will make sure that Iâm the second-best thing. I work from home as an administrative assistant for my husband's guitar studio, so I have a flexible schedule to meet your specific needs. I have access to a reliable car and am happy to do multiple drop-ins so your buddy is comfortable all day long. My motto is that ALL animals deserve humane, kind, and compassionate care. My 16 years in animal shelters has gifted me with experience handling virtually every type of pet of all different shapes, sizes, personalities, and needs. I am certified in fear-free training and utilize positive reinforcement only. I'm passionate about cooperative care and ethical handling no matter the circumstances. I understand that every pet is different and will learn how to make your best bud feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

About: I have experience caring for and walking my family and friendsâ dogs for 10 years. I have experience with reactive dogs. I understand that every dog is unique and that each dog has different needs. I am familiar with dog CPR. I am no stranger to administering medication to dogs. I am free after 4pm on Monday-Friday. On weekends I am free from 7am-9pm. If needed, we can arrange earlier or later appointment times. Thanks! I can stop by at your home to check in on your furry friend(s) and make sure that they have plenty of food and water in their bowls, as well as give them ample time to go to the bathroom prior to completing the check in. I can provide 30 min-1 hour walks, or stimulate/play with your dog(s) for 30 min-1 hour in the safety of your home yard or nearby dog park.
About: I have 25+ years of experience as a very compassionate caregiver for pets and people. I love all living things. I am reliable and a great communicator. I love to travel, laugh and keep a light energy that my animal friends love. I go hiking every day and love anything outdoors. I like to wake up early and do yoga. I work very flexible hours online so it is easy for me to find time to look after your fur baby for you. In my clientâs homes I make sure our Furry friends have fresh water and food if they need to be fed. I make sure they get to go outside for the bathroom. Sometimes other little things are needed like bringing in packages, mail, cleaning out the litter box, walks, movie time, etc.
âChristine has been great and wonderful looking after my kitty! She is super responsive and attentive to my baby, Iâd recommend her to anyone looking for care for their special little ones!â

About: I've been caring for pets since I was 10 years old, and over the years, it's become second nature to me. I have hands-on experience with both small breed dogs and cats, and I understand their unique personalities and needs. Whether itâs playtime, feeding, or just some quiet cuddles, I know how to make them feel comfortable and safe. Iâm also very attentive to petsâ bathroom cues and routinesâan important part of keeping them healthy and happy. Currently, I have a pug and a labrador at home, so Iâm very familiar with both the playful energy of larger dogs and the special care smaller breeds often require. Your furry friend will be in loving, experienced hands! As someone who works from home, I have the flexibility and time to give pets the attention and care they need throughout the day. Pet sitting fits perfectly into my routineâIâm able to provide regular check-ins, walks, playtime, and cuddle sessions without any rush. Because Iâm home most of the time, your pets wonât be left alone for long stretches. I can easily adapt to their schedule, whether that means early morning feedings, midday walks, or keeping them company during the quieter parts of the day. My flexible work setup allows me to be present, responsive, and fully committed to your petâs comfort and well-being. At my home, your pet will feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have a fully fenced yard, which is perfect for dogs to run, play, and get their exercise in a secure space. Whether itâs a quick potty break or some time to burn off energy, theyâll have room to move around freely and safely. Inside, I have crates available for dogs who are crate-trained or just need a quiet, cozy space to relax. I always make sure pets feel at ease, whether they prefer lounging indoors, exploring the yard, or snuggling up for some one-on-one attention. Your pet will be treated like part of the family in a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment.
About: Iâve worked at PESCM, a pet emergency hospital, that has given me the knowledge to properly care for animals to make sure there is no risk. Iâm currently looking for something part-time with adorable animals and a way to get back to helping people with their pets in anyways I can. I have experience with my own two animals on how to crate train, to not interact with other animals in case of accidents or injuries, and on how to keep cats from escaping the safety of their own home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
