“They are so caring and patient. My dog can be shy around unknown people and environments and they took the extra mile to let her ease in and get comfortable. Loved receiving all the pictures and videos of her stay. Can't wait for our next visit! Thank you so much for your care.”

“We just moved here from California and really appreciated Helen's kindness in caring for our two dogs while we had movers and delivery people in and out of our home all week. She was very flexible about drop off and pick up times as well, which helped when we got behind schedule! And she kept us well informed with texts and pictures every day, which was great.”

“I wish I could give 5 million stars. This was the first time in a long time where I truly felt like my pup was in good hands. Steph's home was impeccable, her communication was great, and I got many photos throughout his day care stay. I will def be coming back again with Archer!”

“Ms. Paula felt just like home. Like I was leaving my baby with my parents. I was so comfortable and at ease during our visit. My child did not miss me at all and I knew she was in good hands. Haribo is an excellent helper lol. He is equally as sweet as Ms. Paula. I will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“Absolutely phenomenal. I really think my pup became part of the home. Every morning I dropped him off, he took off running to see Christopher. For a pup with some separation anxiety to be EXCITED to leave me, you just know he was taken care of. Definitely recommend”

“Lori was remarkably kind & caring towards my 2 fur babies. She communicated effectively & sent me photos during their stay with her. She made sure that my pups were taken care of the way we do at home, which put my mind at ease. Sammy & Sylvie are looking forward to staying with Lori & playing with Ash again soon!”

About: Lifelong Pet Lover with Years of Experience Hi, I’ve been around pets my entire life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I started walking and feeding my family dogs at just 7 years old, twice a day, making sure they had plenty of playtime and fresh air in our grassy yard. From playful puppies to gentle giants, I’ve handled dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m confident with potty training and establishing healthy routines for any breed. Since I was 15, I’ve also cared for cats, both my family’s and my friends’. I keep litter boxes clean and ensure they stay off surfaces where they might break or damage anything, all while making sure they feel safe and cared for. Whether it’s a long walk, a cozy cuddle, or responsible in-home care, I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’d love the chance to care for your furry friend. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time throughout the week to give your pet the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it’s a morning walk, midday drop-in, or overnight stay, I’m available and committed to working around your needs. Your pet will never feel rushed or overlooked, they’ll have my full attention and care. Comfortable, Spacious, and Pet-Friendly Home Your pet will feel right at home here. I have a large backyard and a spacious home with plenty of room for dogs to play, explore, and relax. While the yard is not fenced, I always supervise outdoor time to ensure pets stay safe and secure. If you use training tools like an e-collar and provide them, I’m happy to use them responsibly and only according to your guidance. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, just like family.

About: Hello all! My name is Alex and I am currently a stay at home mom here in Powhatan VA. Ever since I can remember I have been an animal lover. I have never not owned an animal, and currently have two dogs, two cats and a turtle of my own! I also have volunteered 200 hours at the PSPCA in Newport News, where I gained a lot of experience in the care of different types of dogs and cats. My husband and I live in a house with almost an acre fenced in, so your pup will always have a place to run around when staying with us!! Communication is key! I will be sure to keep you updated about your pup throughout each visit, as well as send pictures periodically. I look forward to watching after your pet! I'm currently a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of free time! With my flexible schedule, I can almost always meet my clients scheduling needs! Large fenced in back yard with a dog door that allows them to go in and out as they please. We always walk the fence before a stay to make sure there are no holes your fur baby could escape from! I am available to keep your fur baby overnight at our house. I am unable to stay at the clients house due to being a mom to two beautiful little girls!

About: Hi, I’m Nuoya, and I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. As a lifelong animal lover, I understand that pets are family, and I’m dedicated to providing the same love, attention, and care they receive at home. Over the years, I have different pets myself(currently I have 2 dogs, a goldendoodle and a mini schnauzer). I’ve cared for pets with diverse needs, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets requiring special attention. I’m also comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding schedules, and accommodating special care instructions. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, a cozy staycation while you’re away, or just some extra love and attention, I’m here to ensure their happiness and well-being. What You Can Expect Plenty of cuddles and playtime Regular updates with photos/videos A safe and comfortable environment Reliable and trustworthy care I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and make their time away from you as stress-free and enjoyable as possible! Let’s connect and discuss how I can help. Both my husband and I work from home, so we're home 24/7; we do walk our own dogs 2-3 times per day, and go to park at least once a week during the weekend. I have a fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and a second floor, offering a quiet space if your kitty prefers to stay away from my dogs. Since I work from home, I have the flexibility to provide potty breaks as often as your fur baby needs.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life. I am looking forward to opportunities to care for your dog(s) or cat(s) while you are away and love them like they were my own. I have a fenced in yard and live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of walking trails. I have three children, ages 10, 12, and 14 that grew up with dogs and learned how to be loving and respectful to animals. I’m a high school teacher so I’m able to be home during the summer and school holidays. My routine includes a morning, afternoon and an evening walk after dinner. The fenced backyard provides opportunities for exercise outside of walks. I follow your pets normal feeding schedule and will only provide the food and treats that you provide to avoid any allergy or food intolerance concerns. On school days, my husband is typically working from home so there is usually someone home without long periods of being left home alone. Pets are cared for as part of the family and receive lots of love and attention.

About: I grew up with four dogs in the house and haven’t gotten one of my very own due to SO preferences haha I live on my own now and would love to care for your doggie using my excellent petting skills and patience fortified by raising three kids (5-9 yoa). Your dog has to be good with younger kids that love petting dogs. I work from home so your dog will have to be okay with me sitting for periods of time between potty breaks and petting. I enjoy having dogs for short periods and my kids leave plenty of scraps on the floor, so please be sure to let me know your dog’s dietary requirements. I have a gated deck and a comfy couch for lounging. Your dog will have the option of the deck but not a requirement. I take walks around my yard and there are plenty of rabbit and deer smells to entertain doggies.

“My pups had a fabulous time with Julie & her pups today as she looked after my 2 fur babies like her own! She was very helpful & conscientious which was sincerely appreciated. We will definitely be booking with her again. Thanks Julie! ☺️”
