“Cindy was very responsive to my messages and flexible regarding sit dates and times. She was prompt with visits and Snuggie seemed well cared for while I was away.”

“Nicole was great for doing drop in visits on our cats and sending us pictures every day. They clearly enjoyed her visits and she gave us peace of mind.”

“She went above and beyond for our pup! I was always getting pictures and updates on how he was doing. She was very prompt and reliable. 10/10 would rebook!”

“We were so pleased to find Rover pet sitters in the small village of Clayton, NY where we spend the summer. We chose Gina because she had great reviews and many repeat customers. We heartedly agree! Not sure how many pet sitters are comfortable taking care of pets on a boat rocking in a marina, but Gina was the perfect choice. We liked her right away and were so pleased that she didn’t hesitate about coming onto our boat to look after our two cats. She did a terrific job! We appreciated the daily updates and photos that she posted. We have one very shy cat and she somehow managed to get good photos of Mollie every day which tells us, the cat was very comfortable with Gina. When we got back everything was ship-shape! We highly recommend Gina, and will definitely use her and Rover again.”

“After a couple of less than ideal Rover experiences, we were so happy to find Eliza. We asked her to come twice a day for 3 cats, one of which needed medicine morning and night. She constantly communicated with us and took the time to get to know our pets. It was so nice not having to stress about our animals while we were gone. Would highly recommend Eliza to anyone looking for a rover sitter to take great care of their animals.”

“Taylor was great with Lola and really eased the anxiety of Lola being in a new place. I will be definitely be using Taylor again. Great experience with Taylor and using Rover!”

“Keira communication was on point amd detailed. She did amazing at taking care of my persnikity old man and I would absolutely recommend amd use her services again!”

About: I have had dogs since I was 6 years old but as an adult I’ve had my own for the last five years. I have a one and a half year old Labrador Retriever and a Six year old German Shepard Malinois mix. I make sure to take my dogs for walks at least once a day and we also go for weekly adventures. To me having dogs brings a whole new level of companionship to life. They are my whole world and having the opportunity to care for other peoples furry friends would be something that is so special to me! I currently am self employed so most of my day is spent at home working on my laptop! If your pupper follows a certain schedule I would be more than happy to make sure it is followed. I think it is extremely to maintain a pets routine! For my dogs we get up everyday around 7 and then I let take them outside to go potty, following that we eat breakfast, go for a walk, and then about every 2/3 hours I take them potty, then at night they eat dinner at 5:30, followed by either another walk. If there is a routine that your pet has I would be more than happy to make sure it is followed!

About: I have lots of experience with many different breeds and personalities of dogs. I have owned many different kinds of dogs as well as house sat for many different kinds of dogs from small to large. I have yet to meet a dog I haven’t gotten along perfectly with. I am a dog lover and will give your dog the same love as I would give my own, every dog should feel the same comfort while their loved one is away as they do when they are home with them and wouldn’t treat a dog in any way less than I’d want my own fur babies to be treated by someone I was trusting to take care of them while I was away from home.

“Natacha followed all of my detailed care instructions, ensuring Jake was fed and happy every morning. I truly appreciated their responsiveness over text; they kept me updated with how things were going, which gave me great peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

“Very happy with the service. Carla did a great job! The service allowed our dog Lucy to stay comfortably in her own home overnight. Definitely would use service again Thanks Carla!”

About: Certainly! Here’s an extended version with a few more lines to make your answer more detailed and impressive: --- I have over 8 years of hands-on experience as a dedicated pet sitter, and I also care for two pets of my own — a playful dog and a senior cat — so I understand the daily needs, personalities, and quirks that make each pet unique. What sets me apart from other sitters is not just my experience, but my genuine love for animals and my ability to connect with them on a deeper level. I have worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments — from energetic puppies needing consistency and training, to older pets who require medication, mobility assistance, and extra TLC. I’m skilled in basic puppy training, crate training, leash manners, and socialization. I also have experience dealing with rescue animals and those with anxiety or behavioral issues, always using a gentle and reassuring approach. Pet safety is my top priority. I stay alert, follow detailed care instructions, and maintain regular communication with pet parents through updates and photos. I treat every animal as if they were my own — with love, patience, and respect. I work from Monday to Friday from 9 to 5.After that and before that I am available and I can sit with your pet at night Here’s a well-rounded answer to the **“Safety, trust & environment”** question, written from your perspective as an experienced cat sitter and pet sitter who may care for pets either in your own home or the client’s home: --- Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or my client’s, safety and trust are always my top priorities. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions precisely — including feeding schedules, medication, exercise routines, and any household rules their pet is used to. I take the time to learn each pet’s preferences and behaviors so I can provide a familiar, low-stress environment while their family is away. In my own home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly space that is free from hazards. I ensure secure windows and doors, use pet-safe cleaning products, and have separate, quiet areas available if a pet needs space or time to adjust. My own pets are well-socialized, and I carefully supervise all interactions to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I also provide regular updates, photos, and videos to build trust with pet parents, showing them that their pet is in good hands. Whether in my home or theirs, I aim to create a calm, caring, and secure environment where pets feel loved, safe, and stress-free.

“Selene was a wonderful house sitter for my high energy 1 & 2 year old labs. She totally put me at ease at our first meeting with her warm demeanor and extensive experience. Selene cared for my dogs for one week as I needed to have a medical procedure out of state. During my time away she was sending me pictures and videos which lite up my day. Selene even left a toy for my puppies as they enjoyed it so much. Selene is an excellent communicator and I would seek her out again whenever the need arises.”
