“Madison was great! We needed someone last minute due to an emergency and she kept our minds at ease by taking such great care of our pups. Her communication skills were top tier. We could not recommend her more. Thank you so much Madison!”

“Elise is awesome! She's super friendly and kind and does a great job at keeping you updated on your pets while she's taking care of them. Not only does she take care of the pets as instructed, but she also captures some great pics of the pets too! Having her watch our pets gave us peace of mind. Definitely recommend her!”

About: My dogs are like family and temporarily I would love for some others to be apart of ours as well! My dogs have a routine, walk play walk play. Tons of enrichment, tricks and treats Weekends I can be available anytime. Weekdays it would need to be more walks etc. but I promise they will still get the best care I do not have a fenced yard so at my home it would be walks. With my two little ones (10lb and 20lb) these walks are about 30 minutes each but with bigger dogs it would definitely be longer. At your home I’m willing to use the fenced in yard or walks as well! Each visit regardless of anything, will also be accompanied by fresh water, food if you wish to be placed, snuggles, and lots of patting I’m sure of it!
“I’ve booked with Amanda multiple times now and I am always happy and at peace knowing shes taking care of my cats. Her communication and compassion are top notch. Will definitely continue to book with her.”

“I'm so grateful she took care of my puppy Leroy! She sent pictures every time she would visit as well! I recommend Donna to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter!😋”

“Justin was the right fit for looking after our two cats while we were gone! He made sure they’re happy and fed and had clean litter boxes. I got updated with every check in and received cute pictures ☺️ On top of that he also made sure our packages got into the house safely! Thank you for taking my worries away leaving the cats back home! I really appreciate your service. Will definitely book with you again 😊”

“Attention to all military families!! If you need someone super trusting to come and watch/take care of your furry family, do not hesitate to book with Lindsey! She was phenomenal and truly treats your babies like her own! She was super attentive, gave great timely updates, went beyond expectations in her care. She booked us the week before my husbands and I’s trip, took on the added challenge of taking care of one of our sick babies last minute as well. Well 100% be booking with Lindsey in the future ❤️🤧”

“Extremely grateful to have Sabrina available to help us out on a holiday weekend. She was flexible and patient with our dogs and schedule. Our guys were clearly in good hands.”

About: I have had numerous dogs over the years, from rescue to purebred, ranging from 8 weeks old to adopting a rescue at 4 years old. I have worked with potty training my dog, to helping my rescue dog realize she's safe now and loved. Lucy is my dog I have now, she is a rescue and the sweetest dog I've had. I am happy to offer professional dog walking and drop-in services. I am currently available Monday-Fridays, morning and lunchtime walks, and all day on Saturdays. My dog walking and drop-in includes walking, spending time with your dog, making sure they have fresh water and food if they need to be fed. I like to meet with you and your dog before I start so they become familiar with me. During this meet and greet I can find out if there are specific needs (oral medications, puppy training, senior dog) you would like me to do while I’m there. I provide updates when I arrive and when I leave letting you know how they are doing. I look forward to meeting you and can be trusted to follow the instructions you provide for the best care and safety for your family dog.
“You will not find anyone more dedicated to taking care of your pets than Eliza. She did in home drop in visits for our 2 cats while we were out of town for the holidays. The catch was that it was during the Christmas Blizzard of ‘22 and she never missed a beat. I give the highest recommendation for her to care for your furry family.”

About: Hello! Animals have been my passion since I was a little girl. I have worked at a dog daycare for 3 years and now am currently working as a Tech at a Veterinary Clinic now going on for 6 years! I am so lucky to be surrounded by animals everyday and always learning new things about each and every animal. I would love to pet sit your furry friend and hopefully become a new best friend for them too! If you are military, I have base access as well! I am available weekdays and weekends.I would also be available to watch your pet at your home if needed ! I would love to chat about any days you may need and we can work out something :) I am available to help out with feeding, walking, giving medications and or just hanging out with your fur baby. I am open to talking about any other things you may need !
“This was my second time booking with Debbie and I will always try to book with her first before anyone! My cat loves her and Debbie is so easy to work with and coordinate with.”

“Dana did an excellent job caring for our cat while we were traveling. It was great to receive updates and pictures each day so we know that he was doing okay. Dana was easy to communicate with and kept us updated on anything going on and what our cat was up to on each of her visits. We will definitely be booking with Dana again!”
“Val did great with our kittens! We very much appreciated getting daily updates and pictures and they were happy and healthy when we got home. Excellent service and we highly recommend.”

About: I've taken care of family dogs, cats, and birds for 3 year now, I am a new graduated nurse who is currently studying to take my board RN exam. I am a military spouse and we have two dogs ourselves and one cat. I have open time in my days to come and take care of your furry friends. I am a new graduate nurse who is studying to take their RN boards exam. I am a stay at home dog and cat mom and military spouse, I have time during the week to spend time taking care of your furry friends! I am available pretty much around the clock! I am willing to take care of your pets at your home if that will prevent stress from your animals. However I am not opposed to having your pets at my husbands and I’s apartment, when we care for animals in our home space, our animals are usually crated while the guest animals are out unless given the okay by the owner— from there we slowly introduce our pets to yours, but only if granted. We have a camera outside our front door as well as one in our living room where we house our own dogs for security and safety of our animals and home.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember since I grew up with them. I even have 2 dogs of my own. Ive taken time out of my own to research and learn how to give them the best life and how to read their expressions so I know what to look out for. If you give me the chance to babysit your doggy I will love them as my own❤️ Pet care easily fits in my routine considering I already have 2 pups that I take care of daily. I’m home majority of the time as well so I can give them attention and care for their needs. I have a fenced in backyard and a dog park that is a 3 minute walk from my home. If I ever needed to crate your pup I have a decent size crate for them. But that’s if I ever have to or you ask me to, I prefer to let the dogs have access to the house for them to play or settle down when I’m home.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Fort Drum stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
