About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was a youngling! I grew up with cats and dogs and then was able to house sit and pet sit for my neighbors. With my animal shelter job experience I am able to provide more tentative and loving care while being responsible and ready for any emergencies. As someone who is home constantly I am able to provide your pet with 24/7 care! I am very active and love to go on walks as well so if you have a dog I am always ready to be active with them!! I’ve cared for seniors, special-needs pets, anxious animals, and pets who need oral medications or a little extra patience. When I’m not home, my husband usually is, so there’s typically someone around to keep an eye on things and give your pet some company. I can sometimes accommodate short-notice requests, and I live right next to two parks in a safe neighborhood with plenty of places to walk. My home is kept pretty pet-safe — my two cats are professional troublemakers, so they’ve made sure we don’t leave much out that curious pets can get into. It’s just my husband and me at home, so there aren’t lots of unfamiliar people coming and going. We have a fully fenced backyard, and the house is mostly hardwood and tile, so scratches, muddy paws, and normal pet messes aren’t something I stress about. About: Hi! My name is Cathy, and ever since I was a little kid, I have had a huge fascination and connection with animals, specifically dogs. As a younging I'd spend my free time researching dog breeds for fun, and before I was old enough to work on Rover, I I hung up fliers advertising my own dog walking business. Since I love dogs so much, I have heaps of experience walking and pet sitting all kinds of dogs. From my late large dog, Quiver, a Flat-coated Retriever, to a medium sized Australian Shepard, to a Miniature Schnauzer. I will dedicate 100% of my attention and time to making sure your dog is always happy and healthy! I have years of experience caring for senior dogs. When I heard about my dog’s disease prognosis, I began hand cooking him meals chock full of cancer-fighting vegetables and supplements in addition to his dry food. This included (as seen in my photos) sweet potatoes, red cabbage, broccoli, turmeric, fish oil, mushroom powder, etc. The vet had projected he would only live another 2 months, with my care and the change of his food, he lived and loved over 2 more years! So if your dog has a special diet, do not hesitate to let me know. I am currently a student who mainly works from home so I have plenty of time and a wide open schedule to care for your precious pets. My house is smoke free, pet safe and pet friendly.
