About: I have been around animals my whole life. I grew up with two family dogs for 18 years, and caring for pets has just always come naturally to me. I also foster dogs, cats, and small critters, so I have experience with pets of all personalities, ages, and needs Pet care fits so naturally into my day because I genuinely love having animals around me. My schedule is super flexible. I’m in part-time school and work part-time so I have plenty of time. When pets are in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I keep a close eye on them at all times making sure they’re safely leashed outside, supervised during playtime, and always comfortable. There’s always lots of love, attention, and gentle structure to keep them happy and safe. When I’m caring for pets in someone else’s home, respect is everything to me. I’m very routine friendly, so I happily follow your pet’s normal schedule, house rules, and comfort needs.
“This was my first time booking with Ukaesia, so of course I was a little nervous leaving my cat, Mickey, alone for 5 days. But what a relief; Ukaesia did an outstanding job! 😻 It started with her being available, on short notice, to being available when I needed to extend my travel plans. She was dependable, visiting Mickey every day at the same time. She seemed patient with my scaredy-cat and always provided good pictures of her visit. I definitely recommend Ukaesia for your pet sitting needs as I look forward to rebooking with her for my next travel needs. Thank you, Ukaesia, for making this first visit so seamless! 🐾”

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was a child. I considered myself a reliable and caring pet lover. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I take that seriously. I’m moved to WA, state from Texas a month ago, and I would like to go back to school, so since I’m an animal lover, I think this will be a good fit to my future plans. Right now I’m just offering drop-ins, or sitting at my client’s home, so I will provide the best of me to ensure that pet is comfortable and well care, and treat them as my own, and follow the instructions of the owners.
About: Since I was 9 I have grown up with bunnies, dogs, and guinea pigs! It was early morning feeds, cleaning cage and the most fun part of it all was playing, cuddling and loving on the animals. When I turned 16 in school for extra credits I volunteered at a animal shelter in Bothell WA and loved every minute of it! Especially one day when a cat would not eat and I decided to go in the cage and just talk to the cat and gentle touches and took some food into my hand and eventually the cat started eating!! From that moment every chance I could I would walk, feed, clean, bath and play with the neighbors dogs, cats even horses!! So as you can tell I have some experience with animals and the love and companion and care as well as patience. I have also trained a few of my friends dogs the basic behaviors as well as my own! I'm not an expert but I do have the ability and patience to help with unwanted behaviors like barking, sitting, laying down, no jump, easy, wait, and I learned it all on you-tube! This is why I am trying a different path in my life and I just wanna show all the care I have for these furry friends and as well as the owners because it all starts with good customer service!! I am reliable understanding of schedules and want to meet everyone's needs to the best of my abilities because in the end its about the care and needs of your furry loved ones!!! Thank you and hope to meet you furrry-soon!!! My schedule is your schedule! If it works than it works if not we will find a solution and make it work!! I am open to any schedule!! If the need is my home, I have a fenced backyard its not a big yard but it is plenty to run and get that energy out. I have 2 dogs and a cat but I can separate if needed I am very alert and will be there always to keep an out out as well as just playing. Its all about communicating and letting me know as well how you would like to see things if the care is at my home! Always open to suggestions! Animals are like kids they have needs and I want to know so I can care for them the best way but of course no one can care for them like their owner!!

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I have 17 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I understand that every pet has their own routine, comfort level, and unique needs, so I take the time to help them feel safe, loved, and at home. I’m dependable, patient, attentive, and committed to following your instructions carefully. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I’ll provide the same loving care and attention I would want for my own pets. I’ll also keep you updated so you can feel comfortable and confident while you’re away. I work part time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. My partner and I work opposite schedules, so there is typically someone home with your pet throughout the day. We work together to provide a safe, attentive, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. My home sits on half an acre with a fully fenced yard, giving pets plenty of safe space to run, play, and explore. Pets are welcome throughout my large, pet-friendly home so they can feel comfortable and relaxed while staying with us. We live in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with walking areas and a dog park nearby. For the safety and comfort of all pets in my care, I keep boarding limited and carefully select the animals I welcome into my home. I focus on providing personalized attention and maintaining a calm, low-stress environment rather than boarding large numbers of pets at once.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
